   ▫︎ somin was born and raised in busan. she came from a simple yet loving household. her parents are both teachers at her old school, and they had taught her a few times while she was still in high-school. it might irk most people that they have to see their parents at school everyday, but somin actually didn't mind because she loved them–even though they tend to get under her nose most of the time. her younger sister, seolhee who is now a business major, also had to endure this. but unlike somi, she hated every second of it. she also has one younger brother, changkyun, who is still in highschool as of now. somi gets a long with her parents and her brother, but is rather distanced with seolhee because of their differences in personality.

if she loves something or someone deeply, then she will dedicate her whole life to it/them. one of the things she's passionate about is music. she tends to get very defensive about the things she loves. her passion can make her a bit of a perfectionist and an overachiever at times too. (in short: when she loves, she loves hard.)

this is the reason that she and seolhee weren't that close growing up. somi had always been jealous of how good seolhee was at everything, and sometimes this caused her to be competitive and always wanting to alwasy top her sister. it's safe to say that there had always been this invisible rivalry between the two siblings. still, they tolerated each other.
  ▫︎ somin has trouble trusting people.
this caused her to bottle up a lot of feelings inside whenever she's feeling down or just crappy in general. the only person she trusts other than her few friends is her younger brother. but sometimes even somi doubts them. she had never been one to talk about her feelings in the first place anyways, she likes to be secretive.

even though it takes time for her to really trust someone, she would still be polite to everyone even if they weren't the same way to her. her parents raised her this way and she hates it. she holds grudges on a lot of people. most of the time she just screams internally, but when it's bad she likes to yell.

she hates waiting almost as much as something that means a lot to her being taken away.

  ▫︎ she was on board from the beginning. a part of her was happy that her teachers think that she's very qualified, glad that she was doing something that seolhee couldn't do better or was a part of.

> first impression:
  ▫︎ somin's first impression of him
    he was quiet and mostly kept to himself when they first met, but she thought he was polite and nice enough. but she was still wary of him and unsure if he was someone that she should befriend or not. she was taken aback when she found out how kind and talkative he can be when they finally talk more. truthfully, she thought that he didn't look inviting when she first saw him. but apparently she was wrong.

> his personality:
  ▫︎ he's a bit quiet when he's around new people, but he's not necessarily shy. in fact, he loves talking to new people, but usually just waits for them to talk to him first. he's more of the observing kind of guy. he overthinks everything a lot, which he thinks is pretty unhealthy. unlike somin, he trusts people easily and is very patient with everything. he even grows fond over too fast and hates that she's always so cautious around him and doesn't fully tell him everything, because he does. though he seems serious and mature, he actually has a fun and dorky side that he only shows to the people he's close with. he's often curious about a lot of things, likes to ask questions and pry.

  ▫︎ though his constant presence slightly irked her, she began to enjoy his company more and more as days went. and she found herself looking for him whenever he's not by her side, which she didn't even know that she was doing.
