One of the main reasons I wish to obtain a personal firearm permit is due to my career, people often get vendettas towards those who work within the courts, I have been threatened multiple times due to my position. I also wish to get a personal firearm permit due to a group of neo-nazis, one of which assaulted me and a fellow co-worker at the courts. I feel like they will hold a grudge once they are released. I currently feel unsafe even though SO have taken action, I personally. I believe having a firearm on my hip would deter crime around me, as recently I have seen a lot of crime. I've been spending a fair amount of time around Montgomery and seen lots of crime as of late.

I plan on using it as a deterrent to crime around me, as I have seen a lot of crime in the past few weeks, and this has been during hours where there are not often people who can help resolve said situations. I believe having a gun on my hip could be a good deterrent for stopping the petty crimes that I do see daily, just by being present. I also plan to use it in self defence as due to my line of work, making enemies is incredibly easy, and I have been attacked by multiple people as of late. [/legend]
