The Sworn Eight's Vow

We of eight who remain untainted by tyranny and cruelty do gather on this day to swear an unbreakable vow, one that we will save this creation. The Dawn, intended to bring new hope now only inspires terror. The Zenith, intended to serve as a beacon of guiding light now scorches and burns those beneath it, while clinging to the heavens through false righteousness and arrogance. The Eclipse, meant to unite and foster peace now spread lies and manipulate those who trust them so they might know an even greater luxury, an even loftier reputation. The Twilights, intended to be the brightest minds of our age have become twisted and feckless, treating people's lives as tools for experimentation rather than something to be bettered. And the night, intended to bring justice to the dark, and show that light can exist anywhere now strike terror into the hearts of all who behold the shadows.

The time has come for a new order. We swear that when the Deliberative is stricken down, and the incarnae are deposed, that our work shall begin. If The Lotus of Heaven shall sit in it's corruption and bloom, then it shall be torn from sight. We, the sworn eight shall guide creation back to the path of righteousness. This is the vow we swear today.
