[16:15] <Leon_the_DM> All of them hang suspended in midair. But some of the smaller ones are breaking free, falling and causing small amounts of damage at various places around the city.

[16:58]  * Crazy_Joe nods at that, and goes into the store to find the owner.  "Come with me if you want to live."

[18:10] <Leon_the_DM> Him and his 3 friends all run inside, one of them carrying... a very small child.

[18:11] <Crazy_Joe> It doesn't matter.
[18:11] <Leon_the_DM> In the distance, the clowns finally seem to be getting closer.
[18:11] <Leon_the_DM> In fact, one of them takes the time to look up and wave at you.
[18:11]  * Crazy_Joe salutes back.
[18:11] <Crazy_Joe> "Get inside!"
[18:13] <Leon_the_DM> As soon as you do that, a meteor strikes directly where that clown was standing. The two remaining clowns both try not to fall into the smoking rubble...
[18:13] <Leon_the_DM> But one of them falls directly backwards into the ruined house.
[18:13]  * Crazy_Joe falters
[18:13] <Leon_the_DM> The other barely manages to get to the next roof.
[18:13]  * Crazy_Joe shakes his head.  He has to...
[18:13]  * Crazy_Joe takes the skull and hurls it into the air.  Then he draws Titania and shoots it.
[18:14] <Leon_the_DM> The bullet seemingly glances off of the skull, which lands directly at your feet.
[18:14] <Leon_the_DM> The other clown looks like he's not going to make the next jump.
[18:15] <Leon_the_DM> And he doesn't.
[18:15] <Leon_the_DM> Nothing more can be said.
[18:16] <Leon_the_DM> As you stare on in horror, meteors break off large portions of the wood they worked so hard to build, severing your connection to other houses.
[18:16]  * Crazy_Joe tries not to throw up again.
[18:16] <Leon_the_DM> From behind you, you can hear hackerman yelling your name.

[18:16] <Leon_the_DM> "JOE! YOU NEED TO GET IN HERE!"

[18:17] <Leon_the_DM> A small hand takes yours, one you are all too familiar with.
[18:18] <Crazy_Joe> "... Forget it.  Forget this, forget them, forget me."
[18:18] <Leon_the_DM> "Joe... I'm scared..."
[18:18] <Leon_the_DM> She takes your arm, and buries her head in your chest.
[18:18]  * Crazy_Joe puts the skull back onto the road and stomps on it.  That has to be enough.

[18:18]  * Crazy_Joe pulls Addie inside and down to the basement.

[18:19] <Leon_the_DM> Before you can do that, a meteor lands directly in front of your house, throwing you both off your feet.
[18:19] <Leon_the_DM> Addie is sent sprawling, and is currently 15 feet away from you.

[18:20] <Leon_the_DM> A strange red glow seems to be appearing on the ground above the both of you.
[18:20] <Leon_the_DM> And it is getting redder every second.
[18:21] <Crazy_Joe> "MS. V HELP!"
[18:21]  * Crazy_Joe runs to protect Addie.
[18:23] <Leon_the_DM> As you run, everything seems to turn into slow motion. The red glow is getting brighter and brighter, and covers...

[18:23] <Leon_the_DM> There is no escaping it.
[18:24] <Leon_the_DM> This is your Doom.

[18:28] <Leon_the_DM> As you stare up at the meteor definatly, and overwhelming feeling of emotion engulfs your very being.

[18:28] <Leon_the_DM> No one will.
[18:28] <Leon_the_DM> You'll make sure NO ONE has to die!
[18:31]  * Crazy_Joe holds up the skull totem in one hand, between himself, Addie, and the meteor.  If HE can't break it...
[18:32] <Leon_the_DM> As soon as it grows close, greenish-black energy gathers around you, radiating a powerful and intimidating light.
[18:34] <Leon_the_DM> The meteor grows to massive proportions from your perspective, the heat becoming unbearable for the most hardy of men imaginable.
[18:34] <Leon_the_DM> Then the meteor makes contact with the skull in your hand.
[18:41] <Leon_the_DM> The skull explodes violently, shattering in  a supernova of pure, dark green light. Your own energy holds back the meteor itself as it breaks to pieces, forming a barrier around your house, yourself... and Addie.
[18:41] <Leon_the_DM> The pieces are still falling... But you have more than enough power left to deal with them.
[18:42]  * Crazy_Joe holds her tight.  The rest can wait.

[18:43] <Crazy_Joe> "Let's go home."
[18:46]  * Crazy_Joe pulls her the handful of feet to his front door, eliminating every fragment as he goes.  His entire life, he's balked from focus, from effort, from TRYING.  That's not what happens now.  Now, there is absolutely nothing in the world that will stop him from bringing this girl to the safety of his cruxtruder.
[18:47]  * Crazy_Joe tries.
[18:47]  * Crazy_Joe focuses.
[18:47]  * Crazy_Joe DOES.
[18:50] <Leon_the_DM> And so he does. A violent roar of defiance emanates from deep within within, and all the energy you had used to protect now begins to destroy. Nigh instantaneously, the meteor is engulfed, the entire area becoming engulfed in a flash of white light expelled by your energy.
[18:50] <Leon_the_DM> And all at once, the meteor is gone.
[18:50] <Leon_the_DM> And you are not where you once were.
[18:52] <Leon_the_DM> Your body begins to feel entirely drained, but before you slip into the deep dream world of unconsciousness, you see yourself in a barren wasteland. There is hardly anything left, as if this world was long ravished and left to rot as a desert.
[18:52] <Leon_the_DM> The only significant detail you can see id a large, sealed off city in the distance.
[18:53] <Leon_the_DM> As your eyes close, and you sink to the ground
[18:53] <Leon_the_DM> You are welcomed to the Land of Inevitability and Sanctums.
