[17:02] <Henri_DEllaine> Kaz hears a rap at his door. "Bout time for a smoke and a talk don't you think?"
08[17:04] * Kazimir_Prochazka upon opening and hearing this answers: "There's too much to talk about. Whats up now?"
06[17:05] * Henri_DEllaine dangles a flask in the air. "The press conference. I figured it's time we all clear up where we came from. Going to go grab John, too."
08[17:06] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I can't opt out of this can I."
06[17:07] * Henri_DEllaine turns and heads down the stairs. "I can't stop you, but I'd think we could trust not to judge each other over the past at this point."
08[17:08] * Kazimir_Prochazka doesnt answer and just begins to move downstairs and stands by the door.
06[17:08] * Henri_DEllaine knocks on John's door. "Up for a smoke and a chat, John?"
06[17:09] * Ruru_Fields perks up from practicing her bass as Kaz comes down from above, stretched out on the couch indolently.
06[17:09] * John_Kilanger is reading one of his old books when he hears the door. "Yeah, hold on for a second."
06[17:10] * John_Kilanger He puts the book back onto the book case and walks over to open the door.
06[17:11] * Henri_DEllaine waves the flask around a bit. "Come on, time for a little bonding to clear the air."
06[17:13] * John_Kilanger sighs. "Talking I can do, but I think I'll hold out on the smoking."
06[17:16] * Ruru_Fields huffs as the boys leave. Selfish boys. She keeps playing, not bothering htem.
08[17:16] * Kazimir_Prochazka looks in Ruru's direction.
08[17:17] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "What now."
[17:17] <Henri_DEllaine> "Well, the talking is kind of the point," he moves to go down the stares. Barely even glances at Ruru.
06[17:19] * John_Kilanger follows after Henri
06[17:21] * Ruru_Fields raises a brow.
[17:21] <Ruru_Fields> "Oh, nothing."
08[17:23] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "Right. We're going to talk about our miserable lives now. Too bad you can't join in."
06[17:23] * Henri_DEllaine makes it to the door and outside.
08[17:23] * Kazimir_Prochazka scoots out the door without waiting for a response and meets with the rest of the group
06[17:24] * Henri_DEllaine takes a swig of the flask before offering out to the other two. "So, who wants to start?"
08[17:34] * Kazimir_Prochazka shifts a bit and remarks: "I really don't feel like starting this off. I get the feeling I might you all beat."
08[17:34] <Kazimir_Prochazka> >might have you all***
[17:35] <John_Kilanger> "I'm not exactly comfortable telling my story first either..."
06[17:35] * Henri_DEllaine sigs and stuffs the flask in his back pocket. "I guess I will, then..."

[17:40] <Henri_DEllaine> "I wasn't 'in' some kind of crime syndicate or something, but my father did run a PMC. It was apparently involved in some less than reputable work..." He turns for a moment to look out across the twilight of Massachusetts. "The whole company was killed... And it was entirely my fault. They had... some kind of connection with Nerv. That's how they picked me up."
08[17:46] * Kazimir_Prochazka whistles at Henri's story but doesnt really react.
[17:47] <John_Kilanger> "I don't really know what to say..."
08[17:48] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "It's not really surprising. NERV obviously had it's fingers in everything to just get the capital to run this monster hunt. And as for your father...well..."
08[17:48] * Kazimir_Prochazka sort of lets himself trail off.
06[17:49] * Henri_DEllaine turns back to the two. "Yeah, Nerv had it's hands in plenty of cookie jars... And, I'm not saying my father did good things, but... I let things slip that made me lose everything I called a family. I'm never going to let something like that happen ever again."
08[17:50] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I know the feeling."
[17:52] <John_Kilanger> "I never really had a father, or a family. So I can't really pretend to know what you're going through."
[17:54] <Henri_DEllaine> "I've dealt with the grief... it's everything else that's the problem." He takes another swig from the flask. His face winces from the alcohol. "Besides, you've got us now."
08[17:55] * Kazimir_Prochazka snatches the flask from Henri and takes a gulp or two, grimacing all the same.
06[17:55] * John_Kilanger smiles "Thanks, that means a lot to me."
08[17:57] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "Yeah, we're all stuck in the same boat. Might as well keep it from tipping overboard."
06[17:57] * Henri_DEllaine stands there, a little awkwardly. "So... don't tell me I'm going to be the only one to spill everything."
08[17:58] * Kazimir_Prochazka looks at the flask for a moment before taking another swig and speaking.
08[17:59] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I suppose I'll speak. Mine's close enough to yours anyways."
08[18:02] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I grew up in Czech during the big refugee onslaught. Those miserable bastards from the middle east did nothing but looting and murder to my people. My family tried to get us all out when I was about 7, and all we got out of that was my father getting shot and killed, and my mother being seperated from me before they shut down the borders. After that I spent the rest of the time until about a year ago doing what seemed natural: killing every damn arabic I saw."
08[18:03] * Kazimir_Prochazka shrugs "What is terrorism for some is protecting your homeland for others. Perspective and all that.
[18:04] <Henri_DEllaine> "Well... that certainly explains your opinion of Mia, then."
08[18:04] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I got out, obviously. Reunited with my mom before she died. Dropped in and out of British schools after that. Caused some trouble. Then NERV got to me. And that's the story of Kaz."
08[18:04] * Kazimir_Prochazka stares back at the ward hall before speaking: "Yeah. I guess it does."
[18:05] <John_Kilanger> "So that's why your so protective about your identity?
08[18:06] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I was the Czech boy that represented a hurt and divided people. Then I ended up doing a little bit of schoolyard roughing up of some stupid arabic kid and they clamped down on me, my country..."
08[18:07] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "I sort of was put in the spotlight. So ever since I wanted to keep shit under wraps. Doesn't matter anymore though...and Arkham seemed like a way to leave all that behind from Britain."
08[18:07] * Kazimir_Prochazka tosses the flask to John. "Anyways, now it's your turn. Impress us with something like...you're batman. Or the son of a millionare."
06[18:08] * John_Kilanger grabs the flask in mid-air, and looks down on it. He finally shrugs and takes a drink.
[18:10] <John_Kilanger> "You both probably know my basic story already, about how I was found near NERV's base in Nevada and they took care of me.
08[18:11] * Kazimir_Prochazka shakes his head.
[18:13] <Henri_DEllaine> "So... they just found you abandoned in the desert? That's rough... not really knowing anything about where you came from..."
[18:14] <John_Kilanger> "Good, because half of that is bullshit" John rolls up one of his sleeves, and then flexes his arm. "What if I told you that I was made with technology instead of born naturaly?"
08[18:14] * Kazimir_Prochazka raises his hands in protest: "Wait wait wait wait, you're a cyborg?!"
06[18:15] * Henri_DEllaine scratches the back of his head... "I'd be surprised but... I can't really say it's something I think Nerv isn't capable of."
[18:15] <John_Kilanger> "Not quite. I'm all flesh and blood. Just that I was never concieved in a womb."
[18:16] <Henri_DEllaine> "So you're like... a test tube baby? I guess if they can grow giant bionic titans, that'd be childs play."
[18:17] <John_Kilanger> "You already know how people who can pilot Evangelions are a rare commodity. so they decided to try their hands at making some that could themselves."
[18:17] <John_Kilanger> "I'm one of the fewe succesful results, and lucky for me, my evangelion took a liking to me."
06[18:19] * Henri_DEllaine is trying to take everything in. "You... think Mia might be the same way? I remember her saying something about learning things in a tank a while back. I thought it was nonsense but..."
06[18:20] * John_Kilanger shrugs "It's possible."
06[18:20] * John_Kilanger takes his sunglasses off. "You know, I think I could go for a cigarette right now."
08[18:21] * Kazimir_Prochazka hands one off to John.
06[18:21] * John_Kilanger takes the cigarette and gives the flask over to Kaz.
[18:21] <Henri_DEllaine> "Yeah, I think we all need one." Extends his hand out to Kaz.
08[18:22] <Kazimir_Prochazka> "Well, if it means anything, you're certainly convincing. Unlike her. Unless we're missing something and you secretly have dreams about murdering us all, I'd say fuck it and call yourself as human as human can be."
08[18:22] * Kazimir_Prochazka shakes Henri's hand?
06[18:23] * Henri_DEllaine extends his hand for a cigarette.
06[18:23] * John_Kilanger takes a puff from the cigarette, a deep one which is a mistake considering this is his first cigarette, and begins coughing.
[18:24] <John_Kilanger> "Thanks."
[18:24] <Henri_DEllaine> "If anything, John, you're the most normal out of all of us."
