  3. I think the only weapons that really work with single stick are **wasp, arc, and sniper**.
  4. Two allow for continuous damage even when not facing the boss, while the other allows for burst when running at the boss (as you'll only get a small amount of time to actually face the boss). That's why merlin feels so good to play, as does raptor and duster. Either you don't have to worry about aim, or you can just burst.

  6. I think single stick is much healthier than twin stick regarding keyboard control, as how twin stick is done (by turn rate) makes quick turns much less clean than necessary when trying to stay near the boss for extended amounts of time. Weaving through shots isn't too hard, but continuously facing the boss is.

  8. However, I do agree picking up single stick is much harder now that the game doesn't force you into it.
  9. I also agree with your point of omnidirectional boss shotguns being completely contradictory to single stick gameplay. Boss vulnerability windows being short when there's lots of burst is also a problem. The only reason hog is artificially good is because of its damage reduction (also colombo skills being op but that's another problem).

  11. I think it does work well with SBA, but not with most weapons.

  13. Single sticks shine brightest on wasp, arc, and sniper, and for good reason.
