Smashing Devastation

With a roar that echoed through the bowels of the destroyer, Godzilla lifted his enormous forearms and brought them down with all his might on the ship’s superstructure.
The radome burst apart as a whole section of the superstructure broke away.  The Devastation tilted precariously starboard.  Its smokestack collapsed and dropped into the ocean.  Before the ship could stabilize, Godzilla slammed into it again.  The hull remained intact under this onslaught, but barely.
