— BACKGROUND :
Lifen grew up with a Greenlandic father and a Chinese mother. She lives in a house with her mother, father, and grandfather. Her other mostly stayed home with her grandfather. Her father would be home somedays and sometimes he'd be working.
Her parents always wanted a boy and they were a bit disappointed when they got her. Nonetheless, her father didn't give up making a strong child. Since her father was a military officer, he taught her a lot about techniques in fighting and how to survive in bad conditions. He would bring her to camps and make her train. Lifen was taught to respect people to be respected, to not just jump into action without thinking. Her mother was very strict with Lifen, she was not allowed run around and have fun like other kids. She was scolded whenever she was loud or laughing too much. Her mother taught her traditional Chinese dances and the history about her Chinese ancestors. Her grandfather taught her about the dragons and stuff, he knew what she what she was. And he used his knowledge to his advantage by trying to kidnap her. The night he tried to take her away, he almost succeeded. He left the house with Lifen, but didn't make it far due to father already knowing what was going on. Her father was smart, once again, he knew the signs. That night her grandfather was never seen again, she doesn't really remember what happened, but she feels it's best that way.

(keep in mind that the dragon riders/Ilhavir discover their mark when they are 18 years old)


— PERSONALITY :
Lifen does not really care about what's going on. She chooses to ignore anything that's troublesome and hates getting involved into things that are irrelevant to her. She thinks fighting and arguments are annoying and useless. She tries to avoid rowdy places and tends to ignore people when they talk too much.
She doesn't like to socialize and has no intention of doing so. She likes sticking with a few people since it causes less trouble. Also, people don't find her approachable and find her quite harsh. She has encountered a lot of people that it makes her sick of seeing the same thing over and over again.
A placid environment is all she asks for. Lifen is pretty smart and agile. She does her research before starting a plan. She was taught to think before doing and she feels like it has helped her a lot along with the years she has lived. She figures out tricks pretty fast and is quick to think for alternatives.
Her way of caring is quite weird. Instead of showing love and support, she pushes them around. She's not good at expressing herself. She finds it hard to explain herself and to say supporting things. She stumbles with her words and just makes the environment feel awkward.
Lifen is the type of person that sees you dying and then hands you the phone to call someone to help you. She is not responsible for you and it's not her fault you got hurt, because she would've tried and stop you from doing whatever got you hurt.
She will not care if you insult her. She'd just say you're wasting your breath and just making yourself look like an idiot. She doesn't care what people think about her anymore, she's used to it and has heard everything. If she ever meets someone she doesn't like, she lets it show. She's not afraid of showing her dislike towards someone. Of course she respects anyone who respects her, she's not going to insult them or anything. She'd just ignore them completely and pretend she doesn't see them.
Lifen doesn't get mad often, but when she does it's probably best if you run away. She doesn't talk at all and stares off into space with a frown on her face. Her skin would get cold to touch and she would just stay quiet. Her aura turns dark and deathly, she'd just be there with her. Well, what she would do is give you a long lecture insulting every bone in your body or punch you right on the face. But don't worry, she's not like this 24/7. She does smiles when she sees someone cute or when she sees an idiot in their natural habitat. She finds irony very funny and smirks when someone underestimates her a lot.
Lifen's worst quality is her selfishness. She doesn't like sharing and sometimes only protects herself. She hates teamwork but is willing to do it if it means she stays alive. She's the type of person to just ignore the people in need and roll her eyes when they tell her sad stories.
She's quite ruthless when arguing with someone or fighting. She shows you why you shouldn't mess with her at all. She doesn't care about your age, gender, or status; she will leave you in pain and regret, especially if it's her mate you hurt. The only time she will participate in fights is when people make the first move OR when someone can't take down the enemy on their own.

— WHY SHOULD YOUR CHARACTER AND THEIR DRAGON / DRAGON RIDER BE TOGETHER? :
I somehow think it would be cute. With the orphan I just imagine Lifen being protective 25/8 and him just going along with it. With the runaway, I feel like they would be very similar. I don't think it would such a great match, but there's still a possibility they might be good together.
I feel like the orphan would start to show Lifen's more lovely side I guess you could call it that. Since she's used to being quiet and strict being around someone like him would make her a bit loose.



— RELATIONSHIP :
In the beginning Lifen is using him for power, but as they develop more in the story Lifen starts to develop feelings for him. Somewhere in the middle they start dating after Lifen attempts to confess and he understands what she was saying. Towards the end, Lifen isn't afraid to show her love towards him.


— TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP :
They have a cute relationship. There are times when Lifen wants to get it on, but holds back because she's not like that.

— HOW DO THEY ACT AROUND YOU? :
In the beginning: from reading The Orphan's slot, I'm assuming that he would be excited to have a dragon. He'd be looking at her in amazement, but also a bit embarrassed that she's not as jumpy as him. He'd be a bit awkward around her and feel really young
In the middle: he starts getting comfortable and getting used to her silence, he notices her staring at him and get flustered. He acts more boldly and gets more pushy with her. He'd try and be more quiet like she likes, but doesn't really work.
In the end: he's really comfortable around her and he's more bolder than ever. He'd use his adorable face to get things, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.


— HOW DO YOU ACT AROUND THEM? :
In the beginning: Lifen is a bit disappointed she got a softie, but nonetheless she's glad she finally found her human. She doesn't talk much to him, she just observes him.
In the middle: this is when Lifen tries to interact with him and starts falling for him. She acts more protective and she starts talking a bit more. She tries to help more and even attempts to care, but she really can't change her personality much. She tries to share her feelings more and tries to be less strict.
In the end: at this point they're dating, so Lifen is more confident with her feelings around him. She still is strict and always keeps her calm, but she does get more jealous.

— INTERACTIONS :
In the beginning: orphan being really excited that he has his dragon and he wants to get to know Lifen more, but she's not as excited as him. She just makes him her mate for more advantage since it gives them more power. Lifen comes to realize that mating someone is more than just power.
In the middle: Lifen starts to develop feelings for him. She starts thinking about him more and start to see him differently. She gets more jealous whenever others touch him and feels her heart flutter when he does something cute. At this time, Lifen would attempt to get her feelings out to him just to get it over with. As she struggles, I guess he understands and they start dating.
In the end: Lifen isn't afraid to shower him in kisses or call him nicknames. She doesn't care what other people would think.
