  1. Antonio watched the man with wide green eyes, wincing and recoiling backward as his voice raised. It was like the yelling of a general. Telling him to- no. No bad thoughts. No war thoughts. He could stop all of this. He could stop all the war. He could make everything peaceful, lay the world at ease. No more war. He could fix this all. He could make everything alright again. Oh, /God/ he was not thinking straight. He hesitated, though, nonetheless his ambitious goal that he wished he could complete with this person but- something stopped him. Were they really someone he could trust? He had never, ever, ever interacted with this person before ever in his life and here he was about to make one of the most important decisions of his afterlife. Not his life. The most important decision of his life had been enlisting in the army, but that will be a story for another day. But then there was the other side of his brain. The hopeful side. They had to be telling the truth, they had to be! Or else he couldn't restore peace to the world! And he had to get rid of war, then everything would be good.

  3. Without thinking and acting upon his brash decision, he placed his smaller hand in Conquest's armored one. "Deal." He said, his voice shakily firm and his eyes wide and sparkling. Sparkling with the fear of what this decision could mean, anticipation for what he believed would come, lingering anxiety from his attack. He was a snowstorm of emotions, and what was to come wouldn't help bring the sun out at all. And Antonio had no idea as to what he had just signed himself up for. Not what he hoped for, at least. Not what he had agreed on.
