  1. [[ July 28th ]]
  2.
  3. You have emoted: Hovering in the air next to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, Aleyah wields a piece of coal in hand and leans forward to scribble on the silk, patterning it in a smoky array of roses, thorns, and spiders.
  4.
  5. You have emoted: Aleyah adds a smiley face to where the face would be, just for good measure.
  6.
  7. You tilt your head back and look up at the sky.
  8.
  9. You ask, "Did cousin Gurashi do something bad?"
  10.
  11. You ponder for a moment and say "Hrm..."
  12.
  13. You have emoted: After a few moments' more deliberation, Aleyah resumes drawing on a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, now adding sketchy fingers and toes to what she can best judge to be the extremities.
  14.
  15. You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!" at a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon.
  16.
  17. You have emoted: Aleyah considers a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon carefully, trying to judge if she can flip it over to draw on the other side.
  18.
  19. You have emoted: Landing and planting her feet to the best of her ability, Aleyah presses her body in against the side of a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon and pushes with all her might, trying to get it to roll over so she can draw on the other side. After several attempts, she gives up, wafting to land on its stomach in defeat.
  20.
  21. You have emoted: With a little huff, Aleyah casts a critical eye across a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, trying to find a scrap of silk she has not yet decorated with her drawings.
  22.
  23. You say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "I wish you'd wake up, you know..."
  24.
  25. You say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "You're not very good conversation and I'm running out of things to talk about."
  26.
  27. You ask a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "I guess I could bounce sermon ideas off of you. Would you want to hear me talk about my Lady?"
  28.
  29. You have emoted: Reaching around behind a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, Aleyah very carefully and gently tries to make it mimic a nodding gesture.
  30.
  31. You clap your hands together merrily.
  32.
  33. You smile broadly and say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "Oh, wonderful!"
  34.
  35. Brightly, you exclaim to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "So I'm going to be writing a Sermon about my Lady! I want to talk about Her connection to the Glomdoring, and how our lives are made richer for the things that She teaches! And why beauty and connectedness is an important part of living a communal life!"
  36.
  37. As warm pulses of rose and violet flicker across her wings, you say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "I also want to talk about why I was drawn to Her, and how much I love Her and all of Her demands and how they've made me a better person."
  38.
  39. Matter-of-factly, you say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "And of course it's hard to talk about Her without mentioning the things She teaches us through Crow."
  40.
  41. Tapping her lower lip with a fingertip, you ask a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "Do you think I should talk about the teachings of Crow before or after I talk about the spiders?"
  42.
  43. You have emoted: Leaning forward and wiggling a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon in a manner that mimics the gestures of speech, Aleyah speaks out of the corner of her mouth in a funny voice, "You should talk about Her creations before you talk about teachings unique to her."
  44.
  45. Showing that you understand, you nod your head slowly towards a vaguely humanoid -shaped cocoon.
  46.
  47. Pensively, you say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "That makes sense. I should explain first what Her role was before the Elder Wars, maybe? And Her creations, before talking about how She saved the Glomdoring from the taint and made it into what it is today, and what Her creations became and mean now that they're better. Then I can talk about spiders, and roses, and the web."
  48.
  49. You have emoted: Reaching and puppeteering speech from a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon again, Aleyah says in the funny voice, "Yes, that sounds good! You're very clever."
  50.
  51. You have emoted: Beaming at a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon as she sits back up, Aleyah merrily chirps, "Well, thank you! She means a lot to me, you know? Everything, really."
  52.
  53. You have emoted: Her eyes drifting to a throne encompassed in shadow for a moment, Aleyah says, much quieter and to herself, "Everything.... I'm a good spider."
  54.
  55. You have emoted: Aleyah sighs an exaggerated sigh, flopping down atop a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon. "Gods, I wish you were bigger. Or that someone would send me paper or something."
  56.
  57. It is now the 1st of Avechary, 566 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  58.
  59. Quietly, you say, "Happy Avechary....!"
  60.
  61. You purse your lips, deep in thought.
  62.
  63. You look thoughtful and say, "I wonder if Lord Nocht ever asks His Order to babysit mysterious things."
  64.
  65. You put your hands on your hips and go "Hmmm!" at a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon.
  66.
  67. You say to a vaguely humanoid-shaped cocoon, "What do you think? What would Lord Nocht give them to watch? Probably not a cocoon, the spiders belong to Mama, maybe like..."
  68.
  69. You have emoted: Aleyah frowns slightly, leaning to head to one side and staring off into the middle distance. "...Thinking on it, I don't actually know very much about Him, huh."
  70.
  71. Hesitantly, you ask, "Maybe a dark star....?"
  72.
  73. Reasonably, you say, "You could probably trap someone inside of a dark star, I think, maybe. Or at least, like, He could. I don't think I could."
