「ジャミングのせいで、生き残っている連合軍部隊と
連絡が取れませんから…」
Banjo: Due to the jamming, we haven’t been able to contact any of the surviving UE forces...

カーム
「あれ? 万丈さんはここへ来る前、
宇門博士に連絡を入れたんだろ。
それはどうやって?」
Calm: Huh? But before we came here, you must have contacted Dr. Umon somehow. How’d you manage that then?

万丈
「実は…僕の家と[宇宙科学研究所]の間には、
非常時に備えて有線の専用電話回線があってね」
Banjo: Actually... I have a private telephone line from my residence to the [Space Science Laboratory]. In case of emergencies.

カーム
「シ、シン・ザ・シティからここまで!?
そんな工事、どれぐらいの金が…」
Calm: A-All the way from Sin City to here!? Dude, how much would that kind of work cost...?

韻子
「万丈さんはあんな豪邸に住んでるんだもの。
お金の心配はいらないんじゃない?」
Inko: Banjo lives in a mansion, remember? Do you really think money is a concern for him?

カーム
「あ、そうか」
Calm: Oh, yeah.

万丈
「ともかく、移動して連合軍と合流したら、
耶賀頼先生たちを預けます。その後、
連合本部へ向かうつもりです」
Banjo: Anyways, we’ll move to link up with UE forces and leave Dr. Yagarai and the others in their care. After that, I intend for us to set off for UE Headquarters.

万丈
「大介君が持つ[ベガ星連合軍]の情報は、
なるべく上の方へ伝えるべきだと思っているんで」
Banjo: Daisuke’s information on the [Vegan Empire] should be passed on to their higher ups as soon as possible.

宇門博士
「だが、ロシアにある連合本部までは…」
Dr. Umon: Yes, but the United Earth Headquarters is all the way in Russia...

万丈
「まあ、すんなりとは行けないでしょうね。
途中で敵と遭遇するだろうし…ダイターンや
グレンダイザーだけでは正直心許ないです」
Banjo: Well, I don’t expect it to go smoothly. We’ll likely run into enemies along the way...and frankly, I don’t like the thought of facing them with just Daitarn and Grendizer.

「あら、万丈なら大丈夫でしょ?」
Reika: Oh, surely you’ll be fine, Banjo.

万丈
「僕だけならね」
Banjo: I would if it was just me.

(私がいるからですね…)
Seylum: (Then it’s because I’ll be there...)

大介
「ベガ星連合軍はグレンダイザーを狙ってくる。
俺が行動を共にする以上、彼らとの戦いは
避けられない…」
Daisuke: The Vegan Empire are targeting Grendizer. So long as we’re acting together, avoiding a battle with them will be impossible...

「そのことをを踏まえても、
君の協力はありがたいんだが…
連合軍のバックアップはあった方がいい」
Banjo: Even taking that into account, I’m still grateful for the assistance... However I would like some UE forces as backup.

「そうそう、お風呂や寝る所も欲しいし」
Beauty: Right, right, and I also want a place we can bath and rest.

「旅行じゃないのよ、ビューティ」
Reika: This isn’t a vacation, Beauty.

「あら、女の子にとっては切実な問題よ?」
Beauty: Oh, but those are serious concerns for a young woman!

Yuki: Banjo, about making contact with the UE... It would mean retracing our steps, but we could go back to the Ferry Pier.

Yuki: Lieutenant Marito should be there.

「君の知り合いがいるなら、

Banjo: It would be easier to get them to understand our circumstances if they’re an acquaintance of yours...

Rayet: Can we even be sure the Ferry Pier is safe?

「そういうことを言い出したら、きりがないわ。
行って、確かめるしかないでしょ」
Inko: We’ll never know if we just stand here talking. We’ll just have to go there ourselves if we want to know for sure.

「ま、その通りだね。
じゃあ、フェリー埠頭へ行こうか」
Banjo: Well, you have a point. Then let’s head towards the Ferry Pier.

「ナオ君、万丈さんも賛同してくれたんだから」
Yuki: Looks like Banjo approves, Nao.

「ああ、わかった」
Inaho: Yeah, that settles it then.

万丈
「ユニス、君は時空跳躍らしき反応があった
青森に行きたいだろうが…」
Banjo: Eunice, I assume you’re wanting to go to Aomori and investigate that possible space-time anomaly reading...

「そうですけど、
ひとりでそこへ向かうのは危ないし…」
Eunice: Yeah, I am, but it’d probably be dangerous for me to go along...

万丈
「何なら、ここに残ってもらってもいいよ」
Banjo: If you want, I’m sure you could remain here.

「こちらは構わない。
君から提供されたデータを調べようと
思っているからね」
Dr. Umon: That’s not a problem with me. I’ll be researching the data you provided in either case.

ユニス
「ありがとうございます。
でも、あたし…もうちょっとみんなに付き合います。
戦力は少しでも多い方がいいでしょう?」
Eunice: Thank you very much. But... I think I’ll stay with everyone else for a little longer. Even a little extra firepower is good to have, right?

万丈
「ああ、助かる」
Banjo: Yes, you’ll be a great help.

「では、父さん…」
Daisuke: Then, father...

「うむ…くれぐれも気を付けてな、大介」
Dr. Umon: Yes... Do take care of yourself, Daisuke.

別れを告げたい人がいるんですが…」

Hikaru: Alright, Daisuke. Leave the birch ranch to us. Just come back safe, okay?

Magbaredge: I understand how you feel, but the situation has changed. It’s not longer safe for us to remain here. Not when we still haven’t gotten word from headquarters.

「あの円盤群は、
火星の連中にも仕掛けているはずだ!
きっと奴らもある程度は混乱して…」
Marito: That crowd of flying saucers must have started fighting with the Martians! That should have disrupted them to at least some degree...

不見咲
「それは推測に過ぎません。また、ここにいれば
ヴァースと円盤群のいずれか、あるいは双方から
攻撃を受ける可能性が高まる一方です」
Mizusaki: There’s mere conjecture on your part. Furthermore, the longer we remain here, the greater the risk we run of being attacked by Vers, the flying saucers, or both.

「動いた方が難を逃れ易いって話はわかるが…」
Marito: I know that it’ll be easier to escape trouble if we’re on the move, but—

マグバレッジ
「わだつみは2時間後に出港…これは決定事項です。
それとも、大尉ひとりでここに残りますか?」
Magbaredge: We will set sail on the Wadatsumi in two hours. That decision is final. Unless you would prefer to stay here by yourself, Lieutenant?

「俺だけじゃ…」
Marito: I can’t stay behind on my own...

マグバレッジ
「では、私の決定に従ってください」
Magbaredge: Then please abide by my decision.

「…だったら、なんであの時、俺の頼みを聞いた?
どうして自分の艦を残した?」
Marito: ...Why did you listen to my request before? Why leave your own ship behind?

「15年前の戦いを生き延びた
あなたに興味があったからですよ」
Magbaredge: Because I had an interest in the individual that survived the battle 15 years ago.

横須賀は絶望的でしょうから、
本州沿いに西へ向かいます」
Magbaredge: As for the Wadatsumi’s course... Attempting to reach Yokosuke would be hopeless, so we will make our way westward across Honshu’s coast.

「目的地は呉か、佐世保か?」
Marito: Is our destination Kure or Sasebo?

マグバレッジ
「それは状況次第ですが…
途中で寄港を予定している場所を教えます」
Magbaredge: That depends on the situation at the time... However I will tell you where we plan to stop midway.

「あなたの生徒が生き残っていて、
ここを目指すと信じるのであれば、後で彼らが
合流できるようメッセージを残しておきなさい」
Magbaredge: If you truly believe your students are still alive and will somehow make it here, then leave a message for them to join with us there.

The Black Ghost


(Scene begins on a map screen of a mountain range. Banjo, Duke Fleed, Eunice, and the armored car are deployed.)

万丈
「…やはり、こちらの方角に
連合軍の残存部隊はいないようだな」
Banjo: ...I was afraid of this, but there doesn’t appear to be any surviving UE forces in this direction.

ユニス
「ここまでヴァースとも遭遇しませんでしたし…」
Eunice: We haven’t run into anyone from Vers yet either...

万丈
「都市部はともかく、
こんな辺鄙な所を占拠しても意味はないからね。
可能性があるのは…」
Banjo: There wouldn’t be much point for them to occupy urban areas, much less a remote location such as this. It’s possible that...

ユニス
「この反応…ベガ星連合軍の円盤です!」
Eunice: I’ve got a reading... It’s the Vegan Empire’s saucers!

(Enemy UFOs appear.)

万丈
「噂をすれば影、だな」
Banjo: Speak of the devil.

デューク
「きっと奴らは偵察部隊だ。
すぐに撃破し、ここを去らなければ
[円盤獣]が送り込まれてくる」
Duke: Most likely a scouting party. If we don’t crush them and leave immediately, they’ll send in a [Saucer Beast].

万丈
「だろうね。みんな、速攻でいこう!」
Banjo: Is that right? Everyone, hit them hard and fast!

(Battle 1 begins.)

(This line triggers if Duke battles an enemy.)

デューク
「お前たちが束になってかかってこようと、
グレンダイザーは負けやしない!」
Duke: Come in droves if you like, it will never be enough to make Grendizer yield!

(Battle 1 ends when all enemies are defeated.)

万丈
「…さて、敵の増援が来る前に
さっさと退散しようか」
Banjo: ...Now then, let’s be on our way before enemy reinforcements arrive.

ユニス
「待ってください、こちらへ接近してくる物体が!
かなりのスピードです!」
Eunice: Hold on a moment! There’s an object approaching! It’s moving super fast!

デューク
「この反応…円盤獣じゃないな」
Duke: This reading... It’s not a Saucer Beast.

ユニス
「なら、ヴァースか[メガノイド]…!?」
Eunice: Then, is it Vers or a [Meganoid]!?

万丈
「いや、メガノイドではないようだ。
火星の[カタフラクト]かもしれない」
Banjo: No, it‘s not a Meganoid. I doubt it’s a Martian [Kataphrakt] either.

ユキ
「だったら!」
Yuki: Then what is it!?

伊奈帆
「向こうがその気なら、もう攻撃してる」
Inaho: If they wanted to attack us, then they could have done so already.

万丈
「ああ…警戒しつつ、様子を見よう」
Banjo: Right... We’ll keep our guard up for now and see how it plays out.

Eunice: It’s here...!

(Black Sarena appears, alongside several Battas.)

Inko: Is that actually a Martian Kataphrakt...!?

「だとしても、違和感があるね。
この距離まで近づいても仕掛けてこないし」
Banjo: Even supposing it is, this feels off. They wouldn’t wait to get this close before engaging.

アキト
「…あの機体ではなかったか」
Akito: ...None of these are the right machine.

デューク
「いったい、何者なんだ? 何故、ここへ?」
Duke: Who in the world is he? Why did he come here?

ユキ
「中に人が乗っているかもしれません。
私が問い掛けてみます。
…そこの機体、聞こえますか?」
Yuki: I think there might be someone piloting it. I’ll try talking to them. ...Machine over there, can you hear me?

アキト
「………」
Akito: ...

ユキ
「私は地球連合軍所属の界塚ユキ准尉です。
そちらの所属と姓名を教えてください」
Yuki: I am Warrant Officer Yuki Kaizuka, with the United Forces of Earth. Please state your name and the organization you belong to.

アキト
(地球連合…)
Akito: (United Forces of Earth...)

(Akito flies away from the group.)

デューク
「逃げる気か!?」
Duke: Is he planning to run away!?

(The Battas fire on the party.)

ユニス
「くっ、小型機が!」
Eunice: Agh, it’s from those small machines!

アキト
(ここで拘束されるわけにはいかないが、
この世界の兵器の情報は必要だ)
Akito: (I can’t be held up here, but I need information on this world’s weapons.)

万丈
「戦闘は避けたかったが…
振りかかる火の粉は払わねばなるまい!」
Banjo: I had hoped to avoid a confrontation... But if they’re going to attack, we won’t simply take it lying down!

(Battle 2 begins.)

(This exchange triggers if Eunice battles Akito.)

ユニス
「あいつ、まるでこっちの出方を探るような…!」
Eunice: It’s like this guy’s trying to figure out how we fight...!

アキト
「2体の大型機と同じく、
こちらへ来て初めて見るタイプだ」
Akito: Like the two larger machines, this is the first time I’ve seen a model like this.

(This exchange triggers if Duke battles Akito.)

デューク
「先制攻撃を仕掛けられたはずなのに、
そうしなかった理由はなんだ…!?」
Duke: He could have started the battle with a surprise attack, so why didn’t he...!?

アキト
「この世界にもジンシリーズのような
機体がいるのか」
Akito: So this world has machines like the Jin Series as well.

(Battle 2 ends when Akito’s HP is 50% or lower.)

アキト
(…データは取れた)
Akito: (...Data acquired.)

(Akito leaves the map.)

「あっ!」
Eunice: Ah!

万丈
「逃げたか」
Banjo: So he ran after all.

デューク
「結局、正体はわからなかった…」
Duke: And we never figured out who he really was...

万丈
「ともかく、僕らもこの場から離れよう」
Banjo: At any rate, we should put some distance between this place and us.

デューク
「わかりました、万丈さん」
Duke: Agreed, Banjo.



(Scene changes to a forest.)



万丈
「…ここで一息入れたいところだが、
弾薬の補給が終わったら出発するよ」
Banjo: ...I’d like to catch our breath here, but we’ll be leaving as soon as we finish replenishing our ammo.

伊奈帆
「わかりました」
Inaho: Understood.

カーム
「それにしても、さっきの黒い奴…
ヴァースやメガノイド、ベガ星連合軍じゃないんなら、
どこのどいつなんだ?」
Calm: Man, that black guy from before... If he’s not with Vers, the Meganoids, or the Vegan Empire, then who IS he with?

レイカ
「呼び掛けに全く応えなかったしね。
人が乗っていなかったのかもよ」
Reika: He didn’t respond to our hails whatsoever. Maybe there really wasn’t someone piloting it.

伊奈帆
「黒い機体は有人機だと思います。
虫型と違い、動きがパターン化されていなかったので」
Inaho: I’m pretty sure the black machine was manned. Unlike those bug-like machines, his movements didn’t follow a set pattern.

大介
「それに、
奴は本気で俺たちを倒すつもりがなかったようだ」
Daisuke: On top of that, it didn’t feel like he was seriously trying to beat us.

万丈
「ああ…
先手を打てたはずなのに、そうしなかったからね」
Banjo: Yeah... He could have got the jump on us, but he chose not to.

韻子
「こちらに探りを入れていた…?」
Inko: Do you think he was spying on us...?

ユキ
「だとしたら、何のために?」
Yuki: If he was, then why?

伊奈帆
「単純に考えれば、
ワンオフの機体であるダイターン3や
グレンダイザーのデータ取得」
Inaho: The logical assumption would be data acquisition for the unique machines, Daitarn 3 and Grendizer.

伊奈帆
「あれがどこの勢力にも与しない存在だとしたら、
その2体の情報を持っていない可能性が高いから」
Inaho: If he isn’t part of any of the forces we know about, then it’s highly probable that he wouldn’t have information on those two machines.

万丈
「あり得るね」
Banjo: That may very well be the case.

ユニス
(どこの勢力にも与しない…。
もしかしたら、あたしと同じように
別の世界から…?)
Eunice: (Not part of any of the forces we know about... If that’s true, then maybe he’s from a different world like me...?)

ユニス
(青森で観測された時空跳躍反応は、

Eunice: (The space-time leap reaction observed at Aomori could have been from that machine...)

(ううん…
今の情報だけじゃ、決めつけられないわね)
Eunice: (Well, no... I can’t just assume that only based on the information I have now.)

本来の目的遂行に少なからず支障が出ている」
Cruhteo: At present, they’re only engaging in sporadic attacks, but they’ve become more than a minor inconvenience to accomplishing our original objective.

「ふむ…いずれ敵の拠点の位置が明らかになれば、
攻勢をかけることになろう」
Saazbaum: Hm... Sooner or later we will uncover the enemy’s exact position. And when we do, we will be prepared to go on the offensive.

「例の反応があった宙域に
それらしき物はなかったと聞いているが?」
Cruhteo: Have we heard learned anything from the reaction detected within space previously?

「彼奴らの拠点は、我らの揚陸城のように
移動が可能だと推測されている」
Saazbaum: Yes, we have speculated that their stronghold is as mobile as our own Landing Castles.

Saazbaum: ...And what of Banjo Haran’s movements?

Cruhteo: What does it matter? I believe it was you who said that even if he is on the Terran’s side, our superiority was unassailable.

「今は我と貴公で破嵐万丈の件を伏せているが…
あの男がさらなる動きを見せれば、
メガノイド側から話が漏れる可能性がある」
Saazbaum: Right now we should both attempt to conceal the matter of Banjo Haran... If he takes further action, there is a chance the Meganoids may let such information escape their lips.

Cruhteo: Koros... It’s certainly possible, considering her.

Saazbaum: Should His Highness, the Emperor, discover that the son of his cherished friend betrayed him, it will weigh heavily on his spirit... He will no doubt look to question you about it.

「その前に、破嵐万丈を抹殺しておくべきだ。
姫暗殺の真相が掴めておらぬ現状では尚更な」
Saazbaum: Before that happens, we should kill Banjo Haran. All the more so now, when we are unable to obtain the truth of the Princess’s assassination.

Cruhteo: I thank you for your advice.

Saazbaum: Of course...

Combat robots of the Vegan Empire.
As their name suggests, they can transform into flying saucers.


Kataphrakt

From:       ΛLDNOΛH.ZERO

Manned humanoid weapons used by both the Earth and Mars’s Vers Empire.
They were first developed by the Vers Empire, when reforming planetary work robots into weapons.
There is a great difference in performance between Earth’s and Mars’s Kataphraktos, due to Martian Kataphraktos being equipped with Aldnoah Drives, which enables just 1 machine to be powerful enough to sway the flow of battle.

人類の宇宙進出のため万丈の父・破嵐創造が開発した
サイボーグ。

Meganoids

Cyborgs created by Banjo’s father, Sozo Haran, for the sake of mankind’s expansion into space.
One of them, Don Zauther, awakened to his ego and plots to turn all of humanity into Meganoids.
