  48. Martin Baron is still shaking slightly after stunning Everett and Clayton. He tries to calm down, assuring himself that there are bigger concerns than this rivalry.

  51. GM (GM): Clayton and Everett have come to from the stun-rays of Martin. They feel stiff but overall alright.

  55. Martin Baron calls the doctor DJ pulled aside. "Get these two to a room. Restrain them if need be, they'll be going for each others throats."
  56. Clayton R.: (( Everyone was issued with Scout Kits before leaving Endtown right? )
  57. Everett Pillory: (( I dunno our dear leader ))

  59. Martin Baron: (( I can probably just take them off Clayton's body. ))

  61. With no lack of concern the panda and man are dragged to the waiting latches of a hospital gurney.
  62. Martin Baron: (( Binoculars would be handy. ))
  63. GM (GM): Its in the kit.
  64. Clayton R.: (( I mean, I know I picked up a kit from Mallard. ))
  65. Martin Baron: (( DJ and Mana, you both there? ))

  73. Martin Baron: (( I guess DJ and Mana are out for the moment. Everett and Clayton can have their fight club session ))
  74. DJ-Max: (I'm here. Was distracted.)
  75. Clayton R. wakes up with a start, he takes several breaths as he begins to feel his blood pressure rise. The goddamn Rabbit was gonna get it!
  76. DJ-Max coughs a bit. "I hope they work things out."
  77. Everett Pillory looks at Clayton "See this is what happens if you poin gun at people"
  78. Everett Pillory: They lock you up in the loony bin
  79. Clayton R. is silent for a moment as he moves to reactivate his Zero-Field.
  80. Martin Baron: "I doubt it. If they're restrained, maybe they'll come to a conclusion without bloodshed."
  81. The gurney, restrains, and anything touching you suffer 750 damage and disappear.
  82. Everett Pillory looks at Clayton "You know, Clay. Maybe you're truly unfit to be a leader"
  83. GM (GM): ((I physically laughed from that, Martin.))
  84. Clayton R. yells out loud as the gurney disintegrates, he deactivated the field soon after. "You were saying?"
  85. Martin Baron: (( I'm here all night ))
  86. DJ-Max: "...Fair 'nough. I'd jus' wanna believe they'd be adults 'bout this ya' know?" he says before shrugging and shaking his head. "Guess that makes me the naive one."
  87. Everett Pillory is unphased by this just narrows his eyes "Okay big guy, you're acting like an idiot now. There's a huge looming threat turning Typhoid maries into goddamn freaks. Sure run out to the streets like an idiot and get yourself killed. If you continue pointing guns at people and being a nuisance no one will shed a tear when you turn into a mouth with ten pairs of eyes"
  88. Clayton R. paces around, ignoring Everett an looking for what's left of his backpack. It wasn't on him when he was restrained, likely Martin's work again.
  89. Everett Pillory looks at Clayton clearly ignoring his words "You know, Clay. Now I can see why Flask gave you command. You're very much in her type. Probably would murder a teammate in cold blood without batting an eye."
  90. GM (GM): The doctor informs Clayton that he will be billed 650$ for the gurney. Everett is set free as they can't actually restrain him by patient rights.
  91. Everett Pillory shrugs at the doc "Do you think he'll pay? The only thing on his mind right now is murder."
  92. Clayton R. stares at the doctor. "I want my gear."
  93. GM (GM): The doctor shoots you a look of someone who has been through enough today and says, "Then it's probably where you left it."
  94. Clayton R. goes back for his ear, where he remembers being knocked out. '
  95. GM (GM): Your monster watch has given you afew sightings: Some disturbances in ground level and in building C
  96. Martin Baron: (( Mana, you with us? ))
  97. GM (GM): There appears to be civilians in trouble on the streets but you are seeing blue lights around building C
  98. M. Walker: ((I, suppose? I don't know what I should do, eheh))
  99. Martin Baron: (( You want to hunt the giant eye thing with us or hang back at the hospital? ))
  100. GM (GM): ((Well, you're on the same level as Clay and Everett. In your patience you've seen some commotion in building C.))
  101. Everett Pillory: (( I'm gonna try making some explosives out of the remains of gunpowder I have ))
  102. DJ-Max: "Looks like we found it..."
  103. Martin Baron makes sure the blaster is set to drill. "We gotta make sure it's dead, or this whole settlement might fall under."
  104. Martin Baron: (( Move out to Building C or do something else? ))
  105. Everett Pillory: (( Can I make makeshift explosives with my shotgun shells? ))
  106. M. Walker: ((Oh, Building C))
  107. GM (GM): Sure!
  108. Everett Pillory: Clayton! Instead of getting your revenge. Help me out with this. We need some explosives

  120. GM (GM): Alright, you are able to cobble together some 15 blast packs. They do 3d10+30 or equal to one stick of TNT.

  122. Martin Baron: (( Dual tech with Everett and Clayton? ))
  123. Everett Pillory looks up at Clay as he prepares charges "I don't think staring at people is helping." Then he throws Clay 2 blast packs "Here you go, Lt. Asshole. Light the fuse and throw"
  124. Martin Baron: (( Toss, he lights ))
  125. DJ-Max will tell them to run to building A. Sure.
  126. GM (GM): So, you guys are headed to building C?
  127. Martin Baron: (( Yep, me, Master Splinter, and Poodle of War are heading out. ))
  128. DJ-Max: (Yeah!)
  129. GM (GM): Okay!
  130. Clayton R. groans under his mask and he walks closer Everett. "I want you tell everything you know about what you saw in your first crusade out here, and why it's such a big problem, because from my position, all I saw was you blowing up a building."
  131. Everett Pillory: (( I'll follow shortly. Need stack myself with explossive. ))
  132. Martin Baron: (( IT WAS BIG, SCARY, AND PINK ))
  133. M. Walker: ((Yup))
  134. GM (GM): In building C...
  135. The building is very quiet, heavy locks on the doors suggests that this might by more important than the other buildings... Or rather it's contents are.
  136. Martin Baron: (( And then it turns out that there's more than 1. ))
  137. Everett Pillory gets up and looks like a Red Panda Christmas tree with all that TNT all over him or a terrorist. "Well that's the first smartest thing you've said for the past hour. Okay listen here, Clay. What we're dealing with here is I don't really know what to classify it as. Whether it's supernatural or mutant. We saved all the anthros but apparently that thing seems to be targetting typhoid maries with some kinda of a blue beam. It looks like a giant floating eyeball on a stalk and has wings..." He takes a moment to pull out a pencil and sketch it out "Here... this is how it looks like. Anyway... if you're hit by a beam and you're a typhoid mary? You turn into 3-4 muties, ready to kill."

  142. For the briefest of moments you see something hover outside the window, about a floor up.
  143. Martin Baron: "Crap, I think I see it. Get ready."

  146. M. Walker flinches to the side, raising her rifle at the shape briefly
  147. Martin Baron draws his 10mm Colt and hands it to DJ, then digs back into his pockets and hands him 35 bullets.

  149. Clayton R. is silent for a time. "You know most people would say you're full of shit for something like that, also." He punches Everett in gut. "That was for earlier! What's you're major malfunction dealing with me, huh?.. Why is every there word out of your mouth an insult?!" Clayton doesn't care if this is the worst time to argue about this.

You're acting like a crazy person from day one I've met you. Your obsession with topsider suits, your obsession with being pure... do I need to go on? I am waiting for you for once to calm down and realise that it's over. There's no coming back. The minute that mask of yours broke, I hoped you would've been a bit more sane, but no. Then whatever is your problem intensified to the point you sounding exactly like the bastards that opened fired at the protestors at the campus I worked at. Martin while being on the edge of being crazy is at least aware of how fucked up things have gotten. You? I think you're still 10 seconds before the bombs have hit."

  215. Clayton R. counter argues, "There's nothing wrong with wanting to stay well equipped as possible, and there is most certainly nothing wrong with wanting to stay human!" He yells, pointing at the red panda. "And why don't you take a moment to look at yourself! You're just as bad as the topsiders! You practically spout about how much you want to go kill some of them every other time you aren't insulting or undermining me!"

Week turned into a month before we deemed him "somewhat immune"... NDDC never gave any info on the vectors even with those creepy goons invading us and demanding 'safety measures'... as for Topsiders. Do you even want to know? All the stuff they do? All the experiments? Vivisections, live organ transplants, "pain treshhold" experiments? Do you want to? Ever read about WW2? Japanese Nazi death camps and such? It's a distant memory but in a way, they're not that dissimilar. And they know about it. If one of them actually would dismiss their ways I might be more merciful but to me they can all burn to hell. And I can join that hell later."

I don't like to agree with Flask, but sometimes you just have to play ball if you wan to live."

Everett Pillory 's face turns into a more unpleasant frown, before packing the rest of the explosives and heading out to join the others, finding their possible location from one of the doctors... then when he gets it "I am grateful for that. I'm sure Martin is as well." he says as he turns his head back.

  295. Clayton R. stands still for a moment. "Whatever happened to the danger of me going out with a hellbeast turning humans into monsters?"

  329. Clayton R. shakes his head. "Then I'll find some."
  330. Martin Baron barely takes the hit. Blood is starting to seep down his chest and stain his clothing.
  331. Clayton R. moves to find a doctor, he asks them where he can meet up with security.
  332. Martin Baron: (( 4 HP ))
  333. GM (GM): They tell you security is building D
  334. Clayton R.: (( fug ))
  335. Do they have any communication devices to spare?
  336. GM (GM): Yes, they give you a walkie talkie.
  337. Clayton R.: (( 2 walkie talkies or just one? ))
  338. GM (GM): Did you want two?
  339. Clayton R.: (( How would I talk to anyone with 1? ))
  340. GM (GM): Shouting? They give you another.

  342. Clayton R. hands off a walkie talkie to Everett. "Security is building D. I'm not sure how much I want to risk even moving from here either... What do you want to do Everett? None of these options look good." He says, giving a fake laugh.
  343. Everett Pillory grabs the Walkie talkie and checks it. "I'll help the others and if coast is clear we'll give you a go. How about that?"
