[18:35] Rizu: The foreign sound of movement from human footsteps had roused him almost immediately, and within moments he had already moved into position. He saw teh intruder, but he froze and stared when he saw who it was. It wasn't possible, but the quick activation of Sharingan revealed that it wasn't a henge either. How had...
He felt himself quivering just a bit when the realization sunk in, and he just continued to stare at him, taking it in... And he almost couldn't move. But he had to. He had to kill him...
He immediately started throwing wired shiruken at him. He would kill him.
[18:38] XXX: His breath sucked in, but he had no weapons to deflect with, instead twisting to dodge and try to get himself into a better defensive position. He was sluggish, he could feel as much, having burned what energy he'd had left to get here, and he immediately moved into a retreat. Was he really so muddled by everything that had happened that he hadn't expected this?
[18:49] Rizu: He raced forward as the rain of weapons started to lighten up, performing the hand seals necessary for Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu upon him. This was his chance. Even if he had been sleeping not even ten minutes before, he was full of energy that could be channeled into this one task. All of his trials up to this point would be worth it if he could just end his life tonight.
[18:51] XXX: He waited until he saw the fire leave the other boy's form then dropped, rolling to the side to avoid most of it, though he was left moving to try to put out the fire on his lone article of clothing as he readied himself for the next attack.
[18:54] Rizu: The next was the phoenix flower jutsu, and Sasuke broke through some of the fire before he aimed to try and slice the kunai in his hand down Itachi's throat.
[18:56] XXX: He twisted and lashed out with a kick, knocking him back as he struggled to keep his breathing even, bruised muscles practically screaming at him to stop it as he retreated again, a helpless, broken laugh escaping. "I'm not even the me you want dead."
[19:03] Rizu: He rushed forward again, this time aiming to kill... But he stopped, his blade a hair's breath away from puncturing skin when he growled out the question, "What are you talking about."
[19:04] XXX: He didn't try to move away this time, watching him with grey eyes. "I'm thirteen."
[19:04] Rizu: "Why doesn't that make you the one I want to kill?"
[19:06] XXX: "Because theres two." He tilted his head up slightly, looking at him through tangled hair. "I'm too exhausted to stop you."
[19:09] Rizu: For an instant, his blade faltered. He brought it back to that near-breaking tension a moment later, growling low, "Explain."
[19:11] XXX: "I don't know how I got here. I am not meant to be here however, so killing me at this juncture is pointless." He stared up at him, eyes dark and sharingan down. "I came expecting an empty house otouto, silly me, mm?"
[20:47] Rizu: Inexperience caused his hand to tremble further with hesitation, his eyes filled with hate and foreign confusion. He had the chance to kill him, he had the opportunity...
[20:54] XXX: "Just decide." It was a murmur, and he closed his eyes, vaguely grateful for the darkness that hid the details from his sibling. He'd see that part soon enough.
[21:06] Rizu: He couldn't help closing his eyes, feeling his arm shaking more violently as a cold rush went through him. Do it... He had to do it...
Finally he acted, pulling the other boy close and holding the knife to the front of his throat as he quivered. Finally, at long last, he whispered into his ear.
"Before this all happened... I loved you more than anyone else in the world... Niisan."
That was all Itachi would hear before the white-hot slice of the kunai would go across his throat.
