- In the desert not too far from the city there were two people fighting it out. The strange thing about them was the two were throwing streams and balls of fire at one another. The first, the male was sending out stream of fire that blew up clouds of sand whenever he attacked. The other was a girl but the fire she was using was white and she sent more like fireballs at the other.
- Eventually the two stopped.
- "Thanks for the help Pyro." The girl, Jess said as she wiped some of the sweat off her forehead. She and her brother Pyro had spent the last couple hours training and hopefully building up Jess' new magic type, Lightning which was a combination of Fire and Light.
- "No problem Jess. I needed a good workout anyway." Pyro said with a grin.

- 'Why did my ship have to drop me into the desert, of all places?' Audrey thought in frustration, having taken off her beret to use it as a makeshift fan. The Dream Mage really didn't want to be here right now, but with the previous encounter with Scarecrow, she needed to do something besides hide in her apartment to get that off her mind. She tried to contact Sorin before, but for some reason, she wouldn't get a response from him at all.
- So she instead decided to wander the worlds for a bit, hoping to run into others that she considered her allies, or at least people who don't want to gut her or screw with her mind any further. She dropped by Agrabah, since she rarely ever visited the world of one of her favorite Disney films. Sadly, while she meant to depart somewhere in the city, something had gone wrong and she was instead thrown into the sands, left to make her way on her own. Right now, she really hated her luck.
- Thankfully, it seemed to be changing soon. From where she wandered, Audrey saw the fire streams and white fireballs. She decided to make her way over, jumping to the air and using her Glide to get there faster. Once she got there, she landed on the ground and met with two people she had not seen in a very long time.
- "Hey, long time no see, Pyro, Jess," Audrey greeted the two with a smile, honestly glad to see them again. It had been a while since she had met up with those she knew and trusted very well.
- ====
- "Oh hey Audrey!" Pyro waved to the Dream Mage. He hadn't seen her since that whole business with their alternate selves. "What are you doing out here in the sun? I was helping Jess out with her new powers."
- "Hey." Jess said as like with Audrey she was feeling the heat. It was strange how antagonistic she used to be to Audrey and how Audrey was to her. All over that a stupid Kaztos. Thankfully the two grew out of it. "Yeah I got some new magic here."
- ====
- Little did the other Interferences know, there was another person running about in the sands outside of the main city. Sonya, an anthromatic Arcanine from the world of Okami, was running along the sands on all fours. The heat did not bother her in the slightest. In fact the intense heat got her blood moving and more energy then before.
- Sonya had just come from the world of Nippon on a space ship Mother Arcanine gave her. Now she was to travel the worlds in an attempt to rid it of evil. After some very basic training with her new body, Sonya had arrived at this world, mostly because it looked hot and seemed like a good stepping stone.
- After a bit of this running, a wind rushed past Sonya and with it the scent of some humans. The ex-Pokemon immediately stopped running and lifted her nose to the air to catch the scent. Once she figured out where the smell was coming from, Sonya quickly rushed over the sand.
- Soon she saw three humans in the distance. Or, at least two were human. The one girl looked like a Skitty anthro. Maybe she was in the same boat Sonya found herself in! Excited by that thought, Sonya increased her speed and when she was close enough, jumped high into the air and onto the cat-looking girl.
- "Arcanine!" Sonya called out as she nuzzled what she thought was another Pokemon turned human.
- ====
- "You too, huh?" Audrey asked as she looked to Jessica. Though they had grown out of their antagonistic behavior, there was still a bit of awkwardness in seeing her again. It might have been because of the reminders she had been getting lately, about what she...what they had done before. She left it for now, though told herself that she would have to talk with her about it later, and instead looked back to Pyro.
- "Just trying to clear my thoughts. Didn't expect to end up in the desert." She then frowned. "And I haven't seen Sorin in a long while. I tried contacting him, but for some reason, he wouldn't respond. Do you know what's--"
- Before she could finish her question, all of a sudden, a large...Arcanine woman came over and pounced Jessica. Audrey looked down at the two, blinking twice. "Uh....hello?"
- ====
- "Aaah!" Jess cried out as something large and furry knocked her to the ground. "Hey get this thing off me!" Jess shouted, not able to get a good look of whatever it was that knocked her over and now was nuzzling her.
- Pyro, on the other hand, did have a good look and it was some kind of Arcanine Pokemorph. Now while that didn't really surprise him, her actions did. Why the heck did she pounce on Jess and the fact that she seemed to be using Pokemon speak was something different too. Still he walked over to the Pokemorph and tapped her on the shoulder. "Can you...get off her?" Pyro asked.
- ====
- Sonya looked up at the boy as he tapped her on the shoulder. Hearing his request and the complaints from the cat girl the ex-Arcanine backed off of the girl. However she was still in a very good mood as she wagged her huge fluffy tail back and forth behind her as she sat down in front of the humans like a dog.
- "Arcanine! Arcan, nine nine!" Sonya barked before suddenly stopping as she realized that she was talking in Pokespeak once more. She frowned as she looked at the ground before looking back up at everyone. "Ar...So....S-Son...ya...S-S-Son..ya! So...So...Sonya!"
- ====
- Audrey just...stared at the Arcanine woman, even after she got off of Jess. While it wasn't the strangest of sights, as well as the fact that she knew two other Pokemorphs in Sin and Jasmine, it was still enough to almost catch her off guard. However, she did have to note the red markings on her face, as well as the white and red on her. Those colors just reminded her of...
- 'You think she might have come out of Nippon, Inari?' the Dream Mage asked the spirit fragment mentally.
- "Kinda looks like it. She doesn't seem that bad, though. Hey, maybe you can bring out Bonfire and see how they interact."
- Though considering the suggestion, Audrey instead listened as she started barking in Pokespeak. Did she not know how to speak English? Oh wait, no, she was saying something now....Sonya. Her name?
- "Ah...nice to meet you, Sonya," she said, a bit awkwardly. Best to be polite, though. "I'm Audrey."
- ====
- "Thanks..." Jess grumbled, a bit annoyed about being bowled over in the first place. She brushed off some of the sand that got on her clothes and she finally got a good look at the Arcanine woman. She didn't seem like how Sin was in terms of being a Pokemorph so Jess was wondering why there was a difference.
- Pyro was more wondering about why this Sonya seemed to be having trouble talking. "I'm Pyro and the one you knocked over is Jess."
- Jess gave a small wave as she was still annoyed with Sonya.
- ====
- Sonya's tail wagged more as the other humans introduced themselves. She loved meeting new friends, especially after dying, coming back to life and having to travel about the world to get rid of darkness and evil. However, she noticed that the cat girl seemed really annoyed about something. Sonya stopped moving her tail and tilted her head at Jess. It took her a little bit to realized...she might have been too rough with her greeting.
- The woman's ears flatten on her head as she slowly walked over Jess. Sonya sat down in front of the cat girl whimpered as she lowered her head. She opened and closed her mouth a few times, trying to figure out what she was to say.
- "S-Sonya...so...so...s-sor...s-sorry..." Sonya stuttered, lowering her head more.
- ====
- Sonya's actions almost made Audrey wanted to give a squeal over the cuteness proximity. If it weren't for the fact that she was mostly human, the girl would have lost all control and give her a tight hug. She did all she could to hold back the urge, though even that was hard for her.
- Still, she had managed, and asked the woman after she apologized, "S-so what world do you come from, Sonya?"
- ====
- Even Jess couldn't help but see how cute Sonya looked at the moment. The Arcanine woman was doing a great job of unintentionally making Jess feel guilty. "It's alright...Just don't jump on people like that, okay?" Jess said as she gave Sonya a small smile.
- Pyro chuckled slightly. He didn't say anything as he wanted to hear Sonya's answer. She seemed so much different than Sin or Jasmine so he wanted to know more about where she came from.
- ====
- Sonya was completely obvious on the effect she had on the other girls. She just kept her head down until she heard Jessica accept her apology. Sonya lifted her head and smiled wide as her huge tail wagged back and forth happily. She would have jumped on the cat woman again, but held herself back.
- When Audrey asked about what world she had come from. It took a little bit for the Arcanine woman to figure out how she would explain it. "W-w-world...i-is green...p-pretty..." Sonya stuttered. "D-don't know...what called. I-I died...in one w-world...t-then Mother Arcanine... brought me...b-back..."
- ====
- Green and pretty...it definitely sounded like Nippon to her, or at least part of it. Audrey tried to think of a name, but couldn't quite place it. Having been in the Interference universe for four years did that with her memory and knowledge of the game, and several others. She'd have to talk to Inari about it later, if he would know.
- But then Sonya admitted to dying. Audrey stared at the Arcanine woman, dumbfounded. So she died and came back as well?
- 'Okay, that does it. Dying in these worlds mean nothing if there's something to bring us back, if it's part of the game's events, or unless you absolutely deserve it.'
- Inari would have said something in response, but the spirit fragment left it for now. Instead, Audrey looked at Sonya and asked another question, "Who's Mother Arcanine?"
- ====
- "Well your original world was one of the many Pokemon worlds, though which exact one is pretty impossible to tell." Pyro said. It seems rather likely that Sonya was originally a Pokemon and then became a morph as it would explain her difficulty speaking.
- "That's what I'd like to know too." Jess muttered in response to what Audrey said. "Hey Sonya, why did you jump on me anyway? Or do you just do that to most people?"
- ====
- Sonya frowned when Audrey asked who Mother Arcanine really was. The morph knew that her name was actually Amaterasu...but that was a mouthful even for someone whose spoken their entire life. She struggled as her mouth opened, closed and twisted in ways that didn't seem comfortable. Finally she gave up on that and tried to think of another name to give her. Sonya then remembered that Issun gave her a different name. A shorter one. What was it again?
- "H-her n-name..." Sonya finally stuttered, "w-was...A-A-Am-my. Ammy!"
- The ex-Arcanine was very happy with her success and wagged her tail to show it. The tail wagged more when Pyro mentioned Pokemon and she nodded her head, showing that she had indeed come from the world of Pokemon. When Jessica asked her question, Sonya's tail stopped wagging and she flatten her ears against her head.
- "Sonya sorry... Sonya t-though Jess l-like Sonya. Pokemon... and human..." the woman explained.
- ====
- The small name was enough for Audrey. So she was first from the world of Pokemon, but was then brought to Nippon after she died. She would ask a bit more, but she didn't want to keep pressing Sonya anymore questions. Though she was a bit odd, she could tell the Arcanine woman wouldn't cause much harm.
- "Well, despite the surprise, it's nice meeting you Sonya," Audrey said, then pulled out one of her Shineballs. "Actually, I have an Arcanine myself, if you'd like to meet her."
- ====
- What was with Sonya and making Jess feel guilty? Whatever it was, it made the cat girl shake her head and say. "It's alright. You're probably still new to the whole thing. For the record though, I'm not a Pokemorph. I'm...well it's complicated but I am not human and Pokemon."
- "Hey that sounds look a good idea Audrey." Pyro said as he got out a Pokeball, though a regular compared to Audrey's Shineball. "I'm sure Growler would want to come out and say hi."
- ====
- Sonya wagged her tail happily as Jessica forgave her again. She resisted the urge to lick or nuzzle the cat girl, as it would have just made her more uncomfortable. When both Pyro and Audrey both suggested that she meet their Arcanines, Sonya gave a happy bark and spun around. When she faced the humans again she had her front half down and her backside up, like a dog waiting to play.
- "Yeah, yeah! Sonya meet...others..." Sonya panted, looking wide-eyed up at the humans.
- ====
- Audrey had to giggle at Sonya's antics. If it weren't for the fact that she was mostly a humanoid Pokemorph, she would have hugged the Arcanine woman. But she held back the urge, and then threw the Shineball out. "Okay, come on out Bonfire!"
- From the bloodred light that had been released from the Shineball, Bonfire Mutt, the Heartless Arcanine, had appeared. Being a Heartless, she would most likely have thrown Sonya off, what with her black and red fur, devil horns on the top of her head, and glowing yellow eyes. Bonfire looked to the Arcanine Pokemorph, tilting her head curiously.
- ====
- Jess shook her head but one could see she was smiling at Sonya. Really there was something about the Pokemon woman that seemed to draw out Jess' dere dere side.
- "Let's go Growler!" Pyro said as he threw out his Pokeball. From the red light appeared a regular Arcanine, compared to the Heartless version that Bonfire Mutt was. Growler barked happily at being let out of his Pokeball before looking at Sonya. At first he looked confused but he walked over to her and barked a greeting.
- ====
- Sonya gave a bark of her own as the two Arcanines appeared before her. She continued to bark as she ran around Growler happily before doing the same to Bonfire Mutt. She pawed playfully at the Heartless Arcanine, not caring at her looks at all before rushing over to Growler and giving him the same treatment. The morph also gave both a little love bite on the ear before calming down somewhat, though her tail was still wagging back and forth so much that sand shifted behind her.
- "Alright! This is awesome!!" Sonya barked in Pokespeak. "I can't believe it this is, like, so awesome! I didn't think I would ever see another, like, Pokemon again and then when I do they're, like, my kind! This is so, like, too good to be true, you know!! So, like, what are you guys' names!? What do you, like, do for fun!? What, like, do you like!? Ooh this is too good to be, like, true!"
- ====
- To the greeting Sonya gave, Bonfire gave a playful bark of her own, pawing back at the Arcanine woman. Her own tail was wagging, glad to meet fellow Arcanines, even if one of them was mostly human. To Sonya's excitement, the Heartless Pokemon barked a friendly laugh.
- "Hey, slow down there, girl!" she said back in the Pokemon tongue, giving a grin, or at least close to one. "You can call me Bonfire Mutt, or just Bonfire or Bon-Bon; that's what my trainers like to call me. What's yours?"
- Audrey smiled at the Arcanines' greeting, glad to see they hit it off nicely. However, on a completely different subject, the Dream Mage turned to Jessica with a frown, remembering that she wanted to talk to her about that one thing. Walking up to the cat girl, she asked, "Hey Jess...can we talk somewhere private for a bit?"
- ====
- Growler barked happily around the two other Arcanines. "And I'm Growler! It looks like I'm the only regular Arcanine of the three of us."
- "Sure Audrey." Jess said though she was confused. She never had a real conversation with the other girl, especially after the whole thing with Kaztos. While they no longer had any animosity toward each other they never really had been friendly either.
- "You two go and I'll stay with these three." Pyro said as he waved away the two. He walked over to Sonya and the others and sat near them.
- ====
- "Awesome! Hey there Bonfire! Hey there Growler!" Sonya barked, her tail still moving a lot. "It's, like, so great to see ya'll! My name's, like, Sonya! I use to be an Arcanine but then this, like, god saved me, sent me to another god and then, like, I was brought back to life! Now I'm like this human thing, but it's so awesome! I've already made some good friends and it's, like, super special awesome!"
- The Pokemorph laughed at what Growler. "Hey, you're like, so right! But I like what I am...even if it is, like, kinda hard to walk sometimes!" The woman barked, then sniffed at Growler. "So, how are, like your trainers!? Are these your, like original or new ones? I had a trainer! He was, like, really nice! He put me up against a Palkia...which is what, like, killed me...but still, I put up quiet a fight!"
- ====
- Bonfire listened to Sonya as she explained her life story, her own tail wagging. Though hearing that she was brought back to life surprised her, she still gave another happy bark to her excitement. When she asked about their trainers, the Heartless Arcanine was more than happy to explain, "I've actually had three trainers in my lifetime! My original was before I became like, well, this. Don't really wanna talk about him, though; he wasn't the greatest I had."
- Even though she temporarily looked back on that, Bonfire still kept that friendly look as she continued, "My second one, after I ended up somewhere else, he was actually my current trainer's brother. He was rough around the edges, but he treated me right before he left. And my current one, she's really nice, lets me out more often back at her place. Though sometimes I miss my last trainer, it's all good here!"
- As the Arcanines conversed, Audrey walked off to a distance away from them, knowing Jessica would follow. Once they were about two feet away, the Dream Mage turned to look at the cat girl, taking a deep breath. She knew what she wanted to talk about wouldn't be easy, both for her and Jessica, but she really felt they needed to talk about this, especially now that they were no longer violent rivals.
- "Alright, so..." Audrey began, a bit awkwardly. "I just thought we should talk about..." Another deep sigh, before she just went on with it, "Jess, you remember, right? What we did years ago, back in Traverse Town..."
- ====
- Pyro had absolutely no idea what the Arcanine's were talking about so he just stayed back. Though everyone seemed to be getting along which was good. So he would just let these three talk for now while Jess and Audrey were off having their own conversation.
- "I've had two trainers. My old one was with Pyro until she went back to her own world." Growler said a bit sadly. He missed Flare a lot. When she was still with Pyro any time the two got together he could easily come out and play with Flare. But with Flare back home and Pyro not really wanting to go there, it meant that the Arcanine probably wouldn't see her again.
- Meanwhile with the two girls, Jessica said as Audrey asked her question. "Yeah I remember. I may have amnesia but I never forgot it, as much as I would have wished. What is this about Audrey? Did you just want to ask that?"
- ====
- "Super awesome!" Sonya barked as her two fellow Arcanines gave positive remarks about their trainers. "Though I'm, like, so sorry to hear you, like, miss your old trainers! Still, it's always, like, good to have new one!"
- The Arcaninemorph then looked at Bonfire and Growler as if she was trying to figure something out. She then looked to the ground and her tail stopped madly wagging for a moment. However, that moment didn't last long at all and she smiled at her new friends as her tail began wagging like crazy once more.
- "So, like, do you guys want to fight or something? I mean, like, a spare or whatever. Not, like, fighting fighting!" She asked. "I just, like, still need to figure out how to, like, move my body and such! Then I think that I'll, like be even more powerful then when I was, like, a Pokemon!"
- ====
- For a moment, Bonfire did have to look at Growler a bit sympathetically as she heard the town of his voice. However, at Sonya's request for a spar, she immediately turned to the Arcaninemorph and barked happily, getting into a stance. "Would I ever! It's been a while since I've had a good old-fashioned battle with a fellow Pokemon!"
- "It's not just that..." Audrey said with another sigh. This really wasn't easy for her, but she had to let it out. "I'm asking this because recently, it started to come up for me again. This thing called a Wraith said to me that once I became a murderer, there's no turning back. It...she...whatever said that I still have that urge to do it again." There was a small pause, before she went on, "And just before I got here, I was tricked into a hallucination where...where I was by my friends, all killed by my own hands..."
- Another breath, this time shaky. The Dream Mage was trying so hard not to break now. "I know it's been a few years since then, but I...I still feel the guilt of it all. Just murdering all those people, laughing madly as I did...thinking about it still makes me sick to my stomach. And...I'm scared that I might do it again. With nothing to hold me back now, who's to say I won't just snap and go on a rampage again?"
- ====
- Growler barked his own agreement. "Me too!
- Pyro looked at the three with Bonfire and Growler already in a stance. Since he didn't hear any growling Pyro just assumed that it was a more friendly fight. At least he hoped so. Sin would have been great to have around here right now. "Just try not to get hurt guys!" Pyro told the trio of Arcanines.
- "So that's what it is about." Jess said as she paced slightly. She could see why Audrey was worried and why she came to her. But Jess thinks she might have an idea about how to go about this. "Okay first off, I doubt you can trust anything called a Wraith. Second that hallucination was just that. You can't trust what you do when you're in a hallucination."
- "Now I know how you feel. I feel the same about what we did. But we're not going to do it again. We're older and smarter now. And you have a lot to hold you back from doing it again. You're own feelings about it, Sorin and all the others. They can help hold you back if you do snap which I doubt."
- Jess moved closer to Audrey and put a hand on her shoulder. "Look Audrey, you're strong enough to fight against anything that would force you to do that and you snapping? I really don't see it Audrey. You've been through a lot from what I heard. The fact you are still here, still sane, still with Sorin shows how strong you are. You got so much that you fought to keep and your scared of snapping? Audrey you shouldn't worry about what some monster thing said. Yes we murdered people but what have we done since then? Atone. You've been doing that for years why question it now?"
- ====
- "Awesome!" Sonya barked as she got into a fighting stance, which so far seemed to be a half crouch state with her claws flexed. "Honestly, I was afraid that I would, like, never be able to fight, like, a real Pokemon! At least, not for like a while!"
- The woman then began to slowly move around the other two Arcanines, half on her hind legs still crouched and half on all fours. She wouldn't attack first, as her trainer always teaching her to be more patient. Sonya let out a playful growl as she flexed her claws and let out a couple sparks out of her mouth.
- "Come at me bro!" Sonya barked.
- ====
- Bonfire kept her eyes on Sonya when she started to circle them, ready for whatever she might come up with. When she saw that she wouldn't be attacking first, however, she gave a playful growl back, "Okay, but only 'cause you asked!"
- In the next instant, the Heartless Arcanine charged at Sonya with blinding speed, intent on ramming her off her feet.
- Audrey listened to what Jessica had to say, doing all she could to keep her emotions in check. Deep down, she was almost surprised to hear the cat girl say so much. Considering they never really interacted after their rivalry died off, it wasn't a surprise that she wouldn't expect this from her, especially with Jess being younger and an amnesiac.
- Still, the Dream Mage knew she had a point. She knew she was a lot stronger, both physically and mentally. Even though she still had a temper, she knew she could hold herself back before making the same mistake again. And even if she did, Sorin and any of her friends would be there to stop her. But, like Jess said, she had been through a lot to get where she was, and she has been trying to atone from what she did. She shouldn't worry about what some monster thought, or what a hallucinogen forced her to see.
- So after Jess had finished, Audrey let out a sigh and said, "You're...you're right, Jess. It's just the fact that it's recently crept up on me again. I know we've been trying to atone for what we did, but...I still don't know if what we did was enough."
- ====
- Bonfire won't have an easy time tackling Sonya as Growler was going to attack at the same time, using Extreme Speed to try and hit Bonfire while she was open.
- "Hey we still have plenty of time." Jess said as she brushed some of her hair out of her face. "I mean we're still young, we got years to keep going and trying to atone. Don't worry too much about it Audrey. You might get wrinkles."
- ====
- Sonya couldn't hope to dodge the Extreme Speed coming at her. She let out a yelp as she was knocked back and hit the sand. However, she was able to get back up very quickly. Seeing Growler racing towards Bonfire at the same speed as her, the Arcaninemorph had to smile. Sonya ran towards the two Arcanines and, when she was close enough, used Close Combat on at least one, but hopefully both.
- ====
- Growler's Extreme Speed had knocked Bonfire down for a bit, but she was quick to get back to to her feet. Unfortunately, she had been left open to Sonya's Close Combat, which did a bit of damage. She got back in game, however and leapt back from Growler and Sonya. From where she was, the Heartless Arcanine then launched two Fire Blasts at the two of them.
- "You have a point," Audrey said, smiling a bit at Jess' small comment at the end. Despite her past feelings, she really was grateful to the cat girl for her words of encouragement. Even though she still felt the guilt of butchering those innocent people, like she said, they had enough time to atone for it. Letting out one final sigh, she said, "Thanks Jess. Really, what you said helps a lot. I'll try not to worry too much, though no promises on that." She then looked to where Pyro and the Arcanines were, seeing the fight from afar. "I think I'm ready to head back now. At least before someone gets hurt."
- ====
- Growler yelps as he got hit by Sonya's Close Combat. He did notice that Bonfire was using Fire Blast and let it hit him. His Flash Fire would let him absorb the attack and it would give him strength. In case Sonya or Bonfire had the same ability, Growler used another Extreme Speed, this time aimed at Sonya.
- "Hey no problem. Despite what happened in the past I am willing to help out." Jess said with a small smile. She nodded as she looked at the fight. "Yeah though I'm sure my brother could stop them if it went too far. If worst comes to worst we can just throw him in there to stop it."
- ====
- Sonya tried to avoid the Fire Blast but couldn't and grunted in pain. Though the attack was powerful, it still helped Sonya greatly that she was a fire type herself, and thus didn't suffer quiet as much from it. Of course, it didn't help things much when Growler was able to get his hit on her. Needless to say, the Arcaninemorph was really feeling her lowered defenses.
- Still, Sonya was able to jump away and when she landed in the sand again, used a Morning Sun attack to heal some of her wounds. Luckily this ability was increased with blazing sun that hung above the group. Sonya then gave a smirk as she rush at Growler, electricity coursing through her body before meeting at a point in front of her. She then lunged her whole body at the only normal Arcanine in her 'Wild Charge' attack.
- ====
- Bonfire, seeing as neither Arcanine came for her, stayed back at the ready. It was only after Sonya went through with her Wild Charge attack that the Heartless Pokemon charged in with another Extreme Speed of her own, aimed for Growler. Afterwards, she whipped to Sonya and snapped at her with Fire Fang.
- "Yeah," was all Audrey said before walking her way back. Once she did, she looked to the battling Arcanines before looking at Pyro. "So, who's winning?"
- ====
- "Looks pretty even so far. I think Growler might have a bit of an advantage with Flash Fire but the other two got non Fire attacks." Pyro responded as he watched the battle between the three Arcanines.
- Growler got hit pretty hard by the two attacks from both Sonya and Bonfire. Still he could still fight which he showed by giving another Extreme Speed tackle to Bonfire.
- "You think we should stop it soon?" Jess asked. From what she could tell all three looked pretty beat up so she wasn't sure if they should stop or not.
- ====
- Sonya yelped and jumped back as Growler attacked Bonfire and Bonfire attacked her. She looked about at the battle and saw how beat up her companions were and, honestly, the Arcaninmorph wasn't feeling much better herself. She also saw the concern look on the human's face and figured that now maybe enough.
- "Yo guys, I think we should, like, call it a day!" Sonya barked, wagging her tail happily. "It was an awesome fight! We should, like, so do it again!"
- ====
- Since there was no way to avoid the Extreme Speed, Bonfire yelped as she was tackled down. She would have gotten back up and continue fighting, but as mentioned, she was starting to feel worn out. The Heartless Arcanine had to bark in agreement to Sonya, her own tail wagging as she staggered back up.
- "Yeah, I'm pretty tired myself," she said, whipping her fur back. "That was fun, though! Been a while since I had good exercise!"
- "Don't think we need to," Audrey said, pointing out that the Arcanines stopped themselves. She walked up to her Heartless Arcanine and stroked her fur. "Good job, Bon-Bon."

- Growler was panting but he seemed rather happy considering how his tail was wagging. "Me too. It's been a while I've had a workout like that! It was really fun."
- "Looks like you haven't gotten rusty Growler." Pyro said as he went over to pet his Arcanine. Really seeing Growler doing so well made him happy. Growler was the only thing left he had of Flare and he really wanted to take care of him.
- Seeing as Pyro and Audrey were talking to their Pokemon, Jess was going to Sonya. "Looks like you did pretty well considering I'm sure you are still getting used to your new body." The Neko said.

- When Sonya saw Growler and Bon-fire get attention from their trainers, it made the morph choke up a bit. The sight made the Arcaninemorph woman wish that her trainer was around to congratulate her...John had always been proud of her...
- Then Jessica came over and also gave her praise. Sonya was just so happy that she forgot herself and launched herself at Jessica, once again most likely knocking her over and nuzzling against the cat girl.
- "Thank, thank! Sonya happy!" Sonya replied in her broken English.
- ====
- Audrey and Bonfire both looked at Sonya as she jumped at Jessica again. Audrey blinked once, but then gave a small giggle. "Sonya, I think Jess might need a little space to breathe."
- Bonfire gave a bark of laughter of her own. "That reminds me of what I did before! Yeah Sonya, you should probably back off a bit."
- ====
- Pyro was laughing rather loudly at Sonya's display of over affection. Seeing Jess being tackled by a Arcanine woman who was taller than all of them and acting like a big dog to his cat girl sister was rather hilarious to the pyromancer.
- "Hey hey! Get off!" Jessica said as she tried to get Sonya off her. Despite her annoyance at getting tackled and nuzzled again she was a bit happy to see that Sonya was happy. There was just something about her innocence that Jess couldn't help but like.
- ====
- Sonya nuzzled Jessica a bit longer but did get off of the cat girl. The Arcaninemorph barked a couple times and her tag wagged like mad. She was just so happy to have so many friends so quickly and to fight different variants of her own species...it almost felt like being home again!
- "Sorry, Sonya happy!" Sonya barked as she once again took the playful dog pose.
- ====
- Audrey giggled again to Sonya's antics, Bonfire continuing to give barks of laughter. Again, the Dream Mage had to hold in the urge to hug the Arcanine woman right then. As such, she just smiled and said, "Well, we're happy that you're happy. Right, Bon-Bon?"
- Bonfire barked again, this time in agreement. However, right that instant, Audrey's smile was wiped away as she looked to Pyro, remembering what she wanted to ask before Sonya came along. Since it seemed they were about to leave very soon, she had to know one thing beforehand.
- "Hey Pyro?" she started, wringling her fingers together. "Sorry if this comes out of left field, but...have you heard from Sorin at all? I haven't seen him for almost a week; I tried calling him, but he won't answer at all."
- ====
- Jess sighed as she got up again and brushed the sand off her clothes. Really if Sonya didn't just act so cute Jess would have gotten mad. So far she has joined the short list of people that can make Jess act dere dere which includes Will and Pyro. "It's alright." Jess said trying not to smile at how happy Sonya seemed. "Just try not to do it again okay?"
- "He hasn't? Sorry but I haven't heard from Sorin in a while." Pyro said as he shook his head. That did not sound like Sorin at all. Sorin was the type to keep in touch with Audrey every few days. Heck even Pyro did that with Pat. So hearing that Audrey lost contact with him was worrying.
- ====
- Sonya just wagged her tail happily as Jessica told the morph not to tackle her again. Though the woman would be more careful next time, she would make no promises on how she would react the next time they met. When Audrey mentioned a boy by the name of 'Sorin', Sonya stopped wagging her tail and tilted her head. She had no idea who this 'Sorin' boy was...but he sounded like an important person.
- "Sonya help!" The Arcaninemorph barked. "Sonya fined Sorin! Sonya bring Sorin back!"
- ====
- "So you haven't, huh?" Audrey sighed at Pyro's answer. She really thought he would have known, considering how the two have been friends for a long time. But it seemed she was being too hopeful.
- And then Sonya barked that she would help find Sorin. The Dream Mage looked to the Arcaninemorph, a bit surprised at her offer. Though she smiled nonetheless, kneeling down to Sonya's level. "Thanks Sonya, it would help a lot. If you find him, let him know that I'm worried sick and that when I find him, I'm gonna punch him so hard that he'll regret disappearing on me."
- ====
- Jessica had to smirk slightly. Yeah if Will pulled a disappearing act on her like Sorin did, her reaction to seeing him again would be the same as Audrey's. Still she did have to wonder what was going on. Sorin was not the type to run off on his own without telling Audrey.
- "Right. I got to wonder what he's going that is so important that he hasn't called you." Pyro said as he stretched slightly. Hopefully it would be nothing and Sorin just forgot.
