Britney the Nandroid (unofficial upload) - Chapter 1: Graduate (v2)

Chapter 1: Graduate

“Ladies..we’re all here to see how long all of your progress during the school of nandroids. We’ve taught you all the things to know about being a good nandroid and serving humans well. And congrats, you all pass. I’m very proud to say you all now have certificates for being a good nandroid. Now we’ll hear a speech from the owner of this company, Mr. Sterling himself.” a small talk from the secretary of Sterling Company.

All of the nandroid amaze to hear a speech from Mr. Sterling. And there is Britney. She’s happy to be there and being graduated and hearing all Mr. Sterling's speech. But, her anxiety kicks in. She starts to think about all the bad things that could possibly happen to her. She thinks that she couldn’t get anything right when she sends it to her family, even though she knows that she passed all the tests. She is trying to pull everything back and try to be calm.

“It's okay, it's okay, everything will be fine, okay.” Britney talks to herself.

“That's all ladies, now go to your reservation to see who will be your family to serve. And one more thing, good luck. You all already make good progress, so make your human proud of your works. That’s all, thank you.” Last words from the secretary. Every nandroid goes to the reservation, but Britney for some reason falls silent there. With a worried face, she is still thinking about all the things that could go wrong when she serves her master. She has no idea what she should do. She slowly turned around and slowly went out of the room. With all mixed feelings, she slowly leaves the room. And suddenly, someone grabbed her shoulder.

“AAAHHH!” Britney's shock. She turns her head to see who grabs her. Unconsciously, it was the secretary. Britney apologized for the things that she did. She didn’t know it was her. She’s a bit panicked. All her bad thoughts messed up her mind. And the secretary started asking a few questions to her. Because she saw Britney didn’t follow all her nandroid friends to the lobby. She asks why Britney looks very worried. Britney answered it with a bit of doubt. She was anxious to tell me something that messed up her mind. She told her that she couldn’t make it. All she thinks is failed, failed, and failed. Her mind was unclear. Mixed with nervousness and anxiety. Hold her head and try to calm down. And the secretary tries to hold Britney’s hand. Cheer her up that everything’s gonna be okay. She said the opposite of what Britney said. She already does such a great job at the training. Always asking a question and the most active nandroid from all of her nandroid friends. And Britney was just silent there. Looked down with a worried face. And the secretary starts to ask again why she looks so worried.

“My dear, are you scared to be an outmode?” She asked Britney softly. And Britney said yes. She’s scared to be an outmode when they teach them about outmode. The secretary was confused why Britney was scared of it. And once again she asks Britney. And Britney starts to explain everything she knows. She was scared of being an outmode. She said outmode is unstable, can’t be controlled, unpredictable, and the worst thing that could happen.. that they could hurt or even kill a human. She explained everything with panic. She also shivers a bit from it. The secretary told Britney to not panic. She knows Britney is facing her fear right now, but she needs to calm down. And then Britney interrupts her and starts to continue saying something that’s made her fear become really big. She said when they were studying about outmode, an unexpected incident happened. She doesn't know what’s happened there. But her teacher, who is the secretary that she talks to, goes outside to see what’s happening. All the nandroid in class starts gossiping. The class is very noisy, but Britney still tries to hear their conversation. And she regrets hearing their conversation. It just triggered her fear. She was shocked and also froze there. The secretary comes back and tries to silence the class. Britney explained it really detailedly. And yes, the secretary remembered that day.

“Okay dear. I know that day. It’s a bit messed up. We actually don’t know what’s happening. Don’t need to panic, okay…” The secretary tries to calm Britney down. But Britney still can’t control herself. Still haunted by things that she didn’t want to happen. She was so scared. The secretary looked at her with worry. And she slowly opens her arms and hugs Britney. Britney stopped from her panic for a while. Slowly hug back the secretary. Try to relieve everything that disturbs her mind. The secretary also slowly rubs her hair and says everything is gonna be okay. She doesn't need to worry about anything. She also must face her fear. After hearing that, Britney feels a lot better right now. She was a bit nervous, but it was much better than before. The secretary is happy about it. Now she ordered Britney to go to the lobby with all her nandroid friends. Britney understands the assignment and obeyed her order. She leaves the room enthusiastically. And on her way to see who’s gonna be her master to serve. At the hall, she sees a ripped nandroid photo. She has no idea who she is, but she decides to keep it. It might be important for something. But after a short walk, she finally arrived at the main lobby. All her friends are there. She took a short break and let all her bad thoughts flow. When she’s ready, she picks up her document. And she’s trying to find her two best friends there. After a few minutes, she still didn’t find them. But one of her friends shouts at her.

“BRITNEY! OVER HERE.” Nelly shouted at Britney. Britney noticed it. She quickly came toward them and said hi. Britney has best friends at the training. They’re Nelly and Stacy. Nelly has short blonde hair and Stacy has brown tied up long hair. A short description about Britney’s friends. Both of her friends are waiting for Britney. And Britney really appreciates that. Stacy tells Britney that Nelly is very excited until she pulls Stacy’s hand just to get to the main lobby to pick up her document. Nelly’s a bit grumpy after Stacy tells her. She was just a bit too excited. And both Britney and Stacy laugh at her. After that, Stacy asks Britney why she came late to the lobby.

“Oh.. I’m just, you know. There’s a few technical problems along the way here. Not a big deal though. Everything is okay. No need to worry.” Said Britney to Stacy. She said okay. She also asks if she already got the document. And Nelly looks at Stacy with confusion and Stacy looks back at Nelly awkwardly. Britney literally holds her document and Stacy still asks her. Nelly can’t believe Stacy is kinda dumb. Britney just laughed a little at that. Moving on, Britney’s friends are also waiting for her to open the document. So basically they won't open it until Britney’s come. They all already hold the document. And Nelly offers it first to Stacy. She knows Stacy is actually very hype too. Stacy stares Nelly with flat faces and Nelly just holds her laugh. Stacy just rolled her eyes and opened the document. She read it first. And she was excited. She will babysit three children from Anderson's family. Billy is 8 years old, Joelle 5 years old,  and Mary 35 month. They lived at Mayland Green street. And that’s all from Stacy. She was super excited to see them all. Now it’s Nelly’s turn. She opened the document and read it very carefully. And she will babysit a child from Thompson’s family. Her name was Jackie, 8 years old, same as Billy. She lived at Magdalen Green street. And that’s all from Nelly. But Stacy realized something.

“Wait! Did it say she lived at Magdalen Green street? It’s pretty close to me.” Said Stacy to Nelly.

“Wait, really?!” Nelly replies.

“Yes!” Stacy replies back with excitement. Both of them hugging and jumping for joy. They can’t believe they could be a neighbor. They can’t wait. Britney right there be happy for them. Britney doesn't know if she could live together with them in the same neighborhood. But she hoped she could live with them. And her friends ask her to open it quickly so they could live in the same neighborhood. But Britney doubts she wouldn’t get the same neighborhood as Stacy and Nelly. But Britney didn’t lose hope. She opens the document and takes a breath before reading it. She read it and guess what? She was right. She’s not gonna live near Stacy and Nelly. Expectations are not as sweet as reality. Britney’s kinda upset about it. But it’s her job to serve humankind, so she can’t go back. She will serve a 43 years old businessman. His name was Logan Jason Morin. He lived on Avenue Two street. Work as a secretary of a corporation. Ever had a marital relationship, but got divorce for unknown reasons. And that’s all from Britney. Britney’s still upset about it. But her friends try to cheer her up.

“Hey.. it’s okay. Don’t need to be sad. I believe you can do it.” Said Stacy to Britney

“I mean yeah.. Even though you’re not living in the same place as us, which is kinda sad… We are still your friends. And we always support you.” Nelly continued. Britney starts to smile. She thanks her friends for being very nice to her. And Nelly wants a group hug, so they hug before tomorrow's delivery and start heading to their package box. Afterward, they’re all waiting for tomorrow to be sent to their owner’s home. Britney’s still afraid to be delivered tomorrow. But her friends support and cheer her up to be more confident. She knows she must do the best for her owner. No matter how much it takes, she must make her owner proud of her work.
