I’m an amateur urban/rural explorer from the Midwest, a few years ago I discovered an abandoned farm using an old plat book and took the opportunity to look around and take some photos with the landowners permission, I posted about this a while back on a different subreddit.

Since then I’ve done some research on the farm and dug up some spooky info on the family disappearing after a minor fire in the 50s but I couldn’t find anything else to confirm if it’s true.

Yesterday I decided to go back and look around again, and boys I found some shit.

I found a fucking underground bunker near the river about 100m from the house, the doors were open so I peeked inside and I could hear chains rattling and I thought I heard something that could be screaming? Or maybe just wind idk, I decided to bounce cause it was getting dark and as I was driving away a black charger (I think) came out of nowhere and tailgated me with its brights on for a couple miles before stopping dead in its tracks and pulling a u turn in the road.

What do? call cops? Go back? I want to go and at least get some pictures of it tomorrow during daylight.

EDIT #1 and responses. I called the sheriffs department and they said that’ll send a unit to check it out.

As the farm is 20 miles from the nearest town and there were no vehicles around I doubt it’s homeless or people fooling around.

I’m not sure if I’m comfortable in giving my specific state.

UPDATE #2 I just called the Sheriff’s dept and they said there weren’t even able to locate the bunker doors which is bs, I doubt they looked.

I’m going to go back and get some pictures tonight for you guys, I don’t think this is a storm cellar, I’m also going to bring my rifle with me so that should give me a fighting chance lmao. Update soon.

Second at I got fucking shot at, after I took that last pic I heard a gunshot from the other side of the river, i got to my car and fucked off fast as shit.

Before anyone asks no I didn’t shoot back, it’s dark and I’m not going to shoot at nothing.

I’m going to call the police and now they should be forced to actually check it out.

Also I don’t think this is a meth lab as there’s no and I didn’t hear a generator when I visited earlier.
