Ateshi – Lostaran
Ateshi lives on a small planet in an unknown Galaxy called “Lostara”. Since she does not come from the Milky Way Galaxy, she is neutral to the conflict between the various planets there. Lostarans are peaceful beings, who highly value hospitality and family. It's not uncommon for a Lostaran family to be quite large by human standards. Ateshi, for example, has fifteen siblings.


Lostara, the forgotten planet.
A small and dark planet on the edge the known universe. Since Lostara is far from any Sun, It gets very little light. Water covers most of the planet, and the small amount of wildlife that can survive in Lostara is mainly Aquatic. Lostarans are no exception. They are amphibious and can breathe both air and water. In Lostaran, Lostara means “The lost Star.” The planet got this name because it is often forgotten about. Many Lostarans are bio-luminescent, and have lights on their bodies. Lostarans also manufacture artificial suns to light their underwater cities.

The story of Lostara
Long ago, Our sun died. It provided the Galaxy with light and warmth. It's death brought hardship and strife upon the local planets. Many died due to starvation and hypothermia. The inhabitants all perished, all but us. We Lostarans have always resided in the dark. There is very little light underwater. We were born in the dark, and our civilization was forged in said darkness. Our manufactured suns provide us with all the light and warmth we require. The deaths of our brethren on other planets and moons was a tragedy, however, in their absence, we have taken it upon ourselves to scavenge their old technology and literature for our own use.

Lostaran Biology
Due to their planet being mainly aquatic, Lostarans are amphibious. They can breathe both air and water, as well as several gases such as carbon dioxide and helium. There is very little oxygen on Lostara, so the Lostarans have adapted and their bodies do not need much oxygen to survive. Due to this, Lostarans make exceptional space travellers.

All Lostarans are Hermaphroditic, they have both male and female reproductive systems inside their bodies. Some have even been known to reproduce asexually, however, this is uncommon, as Lostarans are very open when it comes to sexual relations. Sex in Lostaran society is natural, and isn't looked down upon as dirty or profane in nature.

Lostarans have very large diets compared to most species. They can eat ten times as much as an adult human. They are an omnivorous species and eat whatever they can to survive. The Lostarans have bio-domes on some of the larger, abandoned planets with their artificial suns to grow plants and food for themselves.

The appearance of a Lostaran varies greatly. However, one common characteristic is their colourful skin and their bio luminescent lights on their bodies.
