Lover's day out in Hogsmeade

It was a nice day to be out in hogsmeade, well, not really. It was rainy and gray. But there was a slytherin student who was in high spirits. He had been looking forward to an actual date in Hogsmeade. He was waiting at the courtyard for his date, a slytherin girl with beautiful eyes and a bad attitude. But before she showed up, the boy saw his friends, also on their way to Hogsmeade.

"Oh, are you going to Hogsmeade, Anon?" Rowan asked.

"Yeah, I am... It's good to take a break every now and then." Anon said, looking at the castle.

"You actually weren't as hardworking as you let on, were you?" Penny asked the boy.

"Hah, no..."

"You were always scribbling notes and reading books. Everyone thought you were studying all day." Rowan said annoyed.

"Nope, love letters to Merula... I even drew like fifty sketches of her."

Rowan and Penny just looked at eachother, they couldn't tell if Anon was being serious or not.

"What about your career as an auror?" Penny asked.

"Do you think I would make a good auror?" Anon asked her.

"Yes, I do... You should seriously think if this is worth it..."

Anon looked at the castle and saw Merula coming out. Good timing too, because he unconsciously grasped his wand in his pocket. He should do something about his short temper.

"If you're talking about, Merula, she's really a sweet girl." Anon said and smiled at Penny, who looked slightly concerned about Merula closing in on them. "I'm a great rolemodel. With my influence, she'll settle down and calm down."

"Well, we should get going, Rowan..." Penny said quickly. "I hope to see you at three broomsticks, Anon, but I understand if you can't make it."

Merula watched as Rowan and Penny scurried away from Anon. The boy turned to her and smiled.

"She's afraid of me, the poor little dearie." Merula said barely able to contain her smugness.

"This is going to affect my friendships, Merula." Anon said and pulled the girl closer. "Do you want to push a wedge between me and her, is that it?"

Merula just smiled out of dumb smugness and was barely able to wipe her smile off her face when the two kissed.

"Oh, I don't want to do that... Be friends with her or Rowan or anyone for that matter."

"Pity, I was kinda hoping I could put some distance on people, using your clinginess as an excuse... Oh well, less drama this way."

"Love to disappoint you, where do you want to go first?" Merula asked.

"I don't know, honestly, we have the whole day open. We just need to make one stop before we leave. How about we go walk around and see if something catches our interest." The boy said as the two left for Hogsmeade. "I wouldn't mind going for a tea though, butterbeer starts to get old."

"There was a cafe in Hogsmeade, I heard some girls talk about it. We could go  there?" Merula asked.

"Yeah, sure, whatever."



The two arrived in Hogsmeade and went to look for the cafe, turns out all they had to do was follow any couple that was lovestruck and looking for a romantic place. But when the two got to the cafe, they couldn't believe their eyes.

"Merlin's beard, that is the pinkest thing I have ever seen." Anon said.

"...Wow... I should have known the girls were talking about a couple's cafe." Merula said surprised.

"Well, do you want to go in?" Anon asked the girl. "I mean, couples cafe or not, and we are a couple. Maybe the tea is worth it.

"I prefer coffee, and not in a million years, I'd rather be dead than be seen with you in a place like that!" Merula said flustered and annoyed.

"Too bad, we're going in." The boy said and pulled the girl with him.

"I-idiot, what are you..." Merula said trying to pull her hand off his.

"You should've thought it trough, before wanting to hold hands with me." Anon said laughing.

Most other students didn't notice the two enter the cafe, but those that did, immediately stopped chattering.

"Bloody hell, it's even worse on the inside." Anon said.

"Oh, wow they have little cherubs..." Merula said mockingly.

"Come now, Meru, be nice. Maybe the tea is really  good." Anon said and looked for a free table. All of them only had two chairs and were all secluded, despite the cafe being tiny, which in itself was impressive.

Merula was uncomfortable at first, but realized that Anon wasn't being serious either. The two started chattering about how ridiculous the place was.
The tiny lady, who owned the cafe, took their order, but seemed somewhat uncomfortable of the aura the couple had. Their presence had somewhat changed the mood in the cafe noticeably. Some of the couples went a bit quiet and others just hurried to leave.

"So, do you want to start holding hands and plant little kisses on me, Merula?" Anon said as he was adding sugar to his tea.

"I'd rather you start declaring your undying love for me first and maybe recite poetry." The girl said watching Anon sweeten up his tea.

"I love you, our souls belong together, our love is unkillable... Ahem... 'Her eyes are like amethyst, and with her I want to go on a moonlight tryst... Uhh... I like her nose I want to keep her close'... This is surprisingly difficult..."

Merula found herself smiling and lightly giggling at his silliness, she was completely relaxed now, it didn't matter. No one would believe it even if someone talked about this. The two finished their drinks in comfortable silence. Merula found herself liking the fact how much Anon liked staring into her eyes.
The atmosphere in the cafe relaxed a bit when people realized Merula and Anon wouldn't start tearing the place up, but some people were still wary of the two. Time seemed to melting away dangerously.

"Alright, I'm bored of this place." Merula said and finished her coffee.

"Yeah, and this tea is disgusting and overpriced." The boy got up and left coins on the table.



"Do you want to go meet your friends in three broomsticks?" Merula asked Anon.

"Not really, no." Anon said. "Let's go buy sweets instead, do you want chocolate?"

The girl didn't respond and pulled Anon with her to the inn, where Rowan was with Anon's other friends.

"I'll get se butterbeers, go sit with your friends." Merula said.

"Yes, dear..." Anon agreed and went to his friends.

"Hey, Anon, how's your date going?" Rowan asked. "Has she caused any fires yet?"

"No, we went to that pink cafe, and I recited her some poetry." Anon said and pulled two chairs at the table. "I think I got this date in the bag, you guys."

Everyone laughed a little at Anon's sense humor, but went quiet when Merula showed up with two butterbeers that she put on the table infront of Anon. And then she sat on Anon's lap. Wrapping her arms around him.

"Don't let me sour up the mood, go on then... What were you laughing about?" Merula asked and ignored Anon's protest.

"OH, it was nothing." Rowan said quickly. "Anon just told a joke."

"Oh, I missed it then, too bad." Merula said still smiling.

Rowan and Penny both coughed awkwardly, the atmosphere was a bit troubled.

"Let's make one thing clear." Merula started, causing an immediate worried reaction from everyone. "I don't want to cause any trouble with Anon's friendships with you all, maybe we can all be friends."

"Oh... Uhh... Sure, I'd like that." Penny said unconvincingly.

"Hey, I am okay with that, if Anon vouches for you." Rowan said.

Everyone else was quiet.

"Do you?" Merula said and turned to look at the boy trying to find a comfortable position. "Vouch for me, dear."

The boy gave up on trying to find a comfortable position and just grabbed and lifted Merula slightly and shifted her instead. The girl giggled and looked around at the reactions of Anon's friends.

"What, sorry I wasn't paying attention, what was the question?" Anon said while his hand was still on Merula's bottom.

"Oh, Khanna was just wanting you to vouch for me, before he wants to be my friend." Merula said.

"Jeez, Rowan, that's a bit harsh." Anon said looking at his friend.

"Oh, be nice... He has every right to be wary of me." Merula said mischievously. She turned towards Anon's friends and put on a sad face. "I am sorry, I really am. I was lost before I met Anon and I took it out on world."

Anon looked at the girl a bit surprised. The girl was overdoing it a bit.

"It's okay, Merula, really... I am just glad you and Anon aren't fighting constantly now." Penny said relieved.

"Oh, we do still fight, we just keep our lover's quarrels private." Merula said and smiled.

Penny relaxed and laughed a bit.

Rowan just looked at the girl surprised, she shrugged at the boy.

The atmosphere was getting better, Merula was a bit more quiet from that point on, but Anon talked with his friends about recent happenings and studies.

Finally Penny couldn't resist her curiosity anymore.

"So, where did Anon take you, on your date, Merula?" She asked the girl resting her head on Anon.

"He took me to that pink cafe and recited me poetry. I think he's a keeper..."
