  1. Jump 77: Actraiser
  2. >The Chariot, reversed (Ineffective use of force.)
  3. And that's why my primary goal is to avoid using force outright.
  4. >Location: Aitos
  5. >Identity: Drop-In
  6. >Drawbacks: Jumper Needs Prayer (+400), Favored of the Heavens (+400)
  7. So... I accidentally made myself the third option here. No wonder using force is ineffective.
  8. >Fruitful Bounty (Free, Drop-In)
  9. I'll make sure to busy myself keeping the crops of my people fruitful, yes.
  10. >Treasures of Earth (1700, Drop-In)
  11. A useful ability, though hardly critical.
  12. >Be Not Afraid (1600)
  13. Now this IS a useful ability. Especially when some of my forms are (or will be) monstrous in appearance.
  14. >Manna of Heaven (1500, Drop-In)
  15. And now we can make things stretch. Steak dinner for a dozen people on a single steak, perhaps?
  16. >And On This Rock (1400, Drop-In)
  17. Stone is a very durable element. I'm not sure if it implies I can shape raw stone, or if I have to work it, though...
  18. >On A Mission From God (1200)
  19. I can give the faithful mandates, eh? Could be useful. Arguably. Especially since I can already hear prayers directed to me.
  20. >And They Danced On Into The Night (1000, Drop-In)
  21. >Voice of a Generation (700, Drop-In)
  22. I won't promise that these will be unused during the Musician jump later.
  23. >Deliver Us (100)
  24. Here's the most important part - by dint of embracing my philosophy, those who follow me will inherently be more capable, more creative, more inspired. Which in itself will spread this philosophy further.
  25. >Root of Good Health (Free, Drop-In)
  26. Mmm. Delightful sweet tea, incense, and a pick-me-up all in one. I like it.
  27. >The Magic Skull (0, Drop-In)
  28. If I'm going to have to deal with the other sides, I should definitely have an artifact that can mitigate their powers and clean up their messes.
  29.
  30. So with everything I have... my weak point was my need for worshippers, but that wasn't a problem with the perks I picked up. (I assumed of course that Konasse doesn't count - it just happens to be there, floating, and nobody's really paying attention to the invisible city in the clouds.) While my religion wasn't exactly spreading like wildfire early on, it definitely was enough to put a dent in things, and I have other perks that let me outright empower priests so that the people aren't defenseless against monsters.
  31.
  32. The status quo took exception to that, and attacked my people.
  33.
  34. I took exception to their exception, and converted THEIR people.
  35.
  36. Turns out that when you've got missionaries actively promoting your religion, and you've lent the strength of charisma perks to your missionaries... you can get a lot of change in a short time.
  37.
  38. I should go into politics.
  39.
  40. Wait, shit, I already did that and the bureaucracy is a headache. Never mind.
