  1. Aezus Elgardo: H-hey!
  2. Saifex Tsuchi: . . . Hm?
  3. Aezus Elgardo: I...uh...I need training.
  4. Saifex Tsuchi: Training? How so?
  5. Aezus Elgardo: I just...need to get strong. <*Sigh*>
  6. Saifex Tsuchi: . . . Well, if I were you, I'd start looking for sparring partners..
  7. Saifex Tsuchi: That's how I got the way I am now...
  8. Saifex Tsuchi: You can never end up training too much.
  9. Aezus Elgardo: Yeah...but no one is really around...
  10. Saifex Tsuchi: . . . Well, if you say so.
  11. Saifex Tsuchi: Are you asking me for a spar? Or suggestions.
  12. Aezus Elgardo: ...<*Holds his chin for a second*> ...Spar!
  13. Saifex Tsuchi: <*Raises brow*>....Well, if you say so... Lead the way, and I shall follow.
  14.
  15.
  16. With a short walk out to the training area, Aezus turns around to face his opponent...someone he most likelyyyyy would not win against, considiering A, who he was. B, he sure as hell looked strong...but Aezus needed some sort of training, so, if it must be painful, so be it. Cant be that bad... "Ah...sir, do me a favor and do not hold back. Its not exactly easy to improve, if you fight against someone with training wheels after all!"
  17.
  18. He crouched low and, along with it, held the scythe low, and positioned one foot far behind him, one far infront of him, spreadying out his body so it is very close to the ground..."On go, I guess, Sir, on your mark..." He shifted the back foot forward, so only the tips of his toes were keeping him stable, pulling the scythe back into only one hand, and balancing himself on his finger tips. "Get setttttt." He raised his back somewhat, and straightened it, giving the man a friendly enough smirk.
  19.
  20. "Anddd go!" He then quickly charged mana through his veins, pushing off his feet and running forward with the help of the mana that ran through his veins, holding the scythe out to the side and rather than running right at Saifex, attempting to "drive by" him almost, avoiding hits when in range and attempting to slash at his waist, legs, arms, but no where dangerously vital to him. Occasionly instead attempting to block the hits, then parry and move in for more quick, accumlative, hits.
  21.
  22. Yet no magic, besides buffing himself, seemed to be used. A strange phenomenon, to say the least.
  23. (Aezus Elgardo)
  24.
  25. Saifex awaited Aezus whom was already condoning to rhetoric considering his preferred terms that he cared little for. He remained silent, staring off towards his opponent with arms set into his pockets.
  26.
  27. "Not hold back, got it." He responded non-challantly, with a weak smile melted upon his visage. Though when things came to advance for combat, where Aezus was crouching into his battle stance and weilded his scythe for what was to come. Saifex didn't bother with a stance at this point, nor did he reach for the crossbow set upon his back.
  28.
  29. Though, there were still explosive bolts that took their place in the quills upon both of his leggings and backside, proving that he was likely an archer... Experienced as well, considering the abundance of bolts he carried... That, or simply one to burn through his ammunition.
  30.
  31. What he awaited for was only the word, 'go', where he'd flick out his right hand, stressed into a clutched position.
  32. "Too slow." He responded nigh immediately, snapping his fingers with a drifting motion to leave lines of tangerine static dancing at a rapid pace for Aezus, slicing into the tundra he was destined to run over, should he continue to advance so carelessly.
  33.
  34. The end result, would leave a tower of flames to engulf him, a mere start to what was to come...
  35. (Saifex Tsuchi)
  36.
  37. The fighter closed the distance between himself and Saifex at a rapid pace, but it'd come only to his own dismay. The explosions forced him about, toiling him across the enviornment without much effort being portrayed from the Tsuchi's part.
  38.
  39. He was just playing with the scythe wielder, narrowly evading some slashes, whilst falling victim to a mere scrapes here and there. Surprisingly enough, he managed to escape any true injury upon his person... For now, atleast.
  40.
  41. "You want to move without predictability, otherwise your opponent will walk all over you." He stated with a confident grin upon his face. His arms flailed out, as though to deliver blows, only to leave a succession of explosions from the frozen earth from beneath Aezus' feet, swarming him with fire, and steaming the interior of his armor, had he wore any at the time.
  42.
  43. Smoke were cling to his person, and the smell of ashes stuck to him; Burning hair, skin, and various materials that rested beneath the icy surface, was now adopted by Aezus' person.
  44.
  45. "Are you alright there? You're not -too- crispy there are you? I'd restrain myself from cooking you medium-rare, but you -asked- me not to hold back." He said, shrugging with a friendly personality to possess his facade.
  46. (Saifex Tsuchi)
  47.
  48. Grumbling, Aezus pushed himself up and took a mass amount of steps back, gritting his teeth from the burns that covered him all over, among other injuries, patting a small spark in his hair. "Mehhhhh...I dont regret it! Like I said! How is one supposed to improve if they are constantly coddled! It's...simply inneffective! So, go ahead and continue being that strong. I...er...I dont mind." He then held the scythe out, not rushing this time and simply inspecting Saifex for any...obvious weaknesses. It always seemed, for Aezus, that slow and steady did win him the race.
  49.
  50. Either way, he begins to buff himself again, sighing. "I just regret not knowing any magic...I have the capibility..but...I just cant tap into that capability! It's sort of my fault...for not training. But thats what I am TRYING to do." He grumbled, continuing to keep his distance and keep his eye on Saifex. "Besides, can you say you've ALWAYS been this...gifted, or whatever!" A bit of age showed in the boy, a slight whine heard in that statement.
  51.
  52. "Tch...whatever. Let's just continue!" Although, Aezus would once more try to control the wind around him. In turn only blowing a slightly powerful breeze in Saifex's direction. "Ryujin damn itttt. Stupid wind! Work!" So much for being able to keep his distance...
  53. (Aezus Elgardo)
  54.
  55. Saifex wasn't one to grant empathy through one's failures, especially in this instance. To him, the man simply needed to train more; Though, the whining tone he picked up left him with mild irritation emerging upon his visage.
  56. "If you're going to fight, never complain about the outcome when things go south." He stated, almost contradicting himself via the actions he condoned to in the past.
  57.
  58. "Whining and complaining about a fight, won't save you on the battlefield. This is especially certain, when your opponents want you, or a loved one dead. To them? You'll just be easy prey." He monologued as the battle ensued, approaching it's final moments. Aezus was bee-lining directly for Saifex, whom awaited him defiantly. He refused to move from his standpoint, inviting him to strike down upon him in his weakened stature.
  59.
  60. By now, the scythe was prepped, swinging in unison with his swatting arm. The scythe weilding Tiro's body seemed to succumb to the lucid sensation that engulfed his muscularity, leaving movements altered and confused. Flames caught up upon his person once more, firing from the ground beneath his feet to swallow him in a pillar of saffron light.
  61.
  62. As the fires shot for the skies above, Aezus' silhuoette froze in place, flickering, in the flailing light, threatening to vaporize the figurine within. The tower disbursed, leaving one completely covered in second degree burns. They were healable, though contact with the ice would likely sting for a while.
  63.
  64. "...You alright?"
  65. (Saifex Tsuchi)
