Aeleaf : Chapter I – The meeting
Nov 7th : It was during the Azure’s first anniversary party, the whole Azure community was up in a giant mansion. Everyone was having fun, eating, discussing, and even battling. Red, a young Pokemon trainer, also founder of the Inquisiton League, was discussing with her friends Brooke and Purgatory, eating the delicious cookies made by Nii Sama.
 “Do you want some?” asks Red to Brooke handing her a cookie.
“No, thank you dear. I’ll keep some room for brownie” answers Brooke.
“Giiiiiiiirls! This party is so cool!” adds Purga. “Look at Podge dancing topless! Oh, and look Kaze and Rubi facing themselves in a freestyle battle! Oh, and there are even our Horizon friends: Curli, Floof, Drix, Leaf, …”
“LEEEAAFFF !!!” screams Red as soon as she notified him.
“REEEED !!!” screams Leaf back opening his arms.
Both hug each other tightly. Red waves at her Horizon’s friends and asks to Leaf furtively : “So, did you notice any person susceptible to be your partner ?”
“Wait, what are you talking about ?!” answers Leaf blushing.
“You know! At midnight, during the ball, everyone will be dancing!”
“Oh! Maybe you could be my partner then.”
“I would like to… but Kayano already asked me…” answers Red with a sorry look.
“I guess I will end up the night alone…” sighs Leaf.
Red starts looking everywhere around then smirks.
“Oiiiiiii!!! Aegis! Can you come here please!” shouts Red looking at the other side of the room.
“I wouldn’t mind if someone could free me !!!” screams Aegis, tied as Viktria is sitting on him.
“Shhhhh! Seats do not speak!” says Viktria staring at him.
“Yaya Vik! Share Aegis, he doesn’t belong to you.” says Healer.
“Wanna bet?” she answers.
“I am waiting for you” adds Healer rolling up his sleeves.
Red comes and releases her friend meanwhile his suitors are fighting for him.
“Thank you very much Red” sighs Aegis finally free.
“Aegis, this is Leaf. Leaf this is Aegis. I think you two already met each other” speaks Red.
“Yes we already met once haha!” says Aegis while he reaches out to Leaf.
Leaf blushes and shakes it timidly.
“Aegis do you have a dance partner?” says Red smiling.
“Well, now Viktria is gone and busy I don’t”
“Perfect! You both will dance together then.” exclaims Red.
“But Red we barely know ea-” stutters Leaf before getting shushed by Red.
“You both are so cute together. Oh my god…, I need to go! Seeeeect, when I told you to put this watermelon in your ass for 100 bucks I was not serious !!!!!!!!” shouts Red running away.
“Wait Red you can’t leave me like that…” whimpers Leaf.
“Aaaaaaand she’s gone” adds Aegis.
Leaf was looking at Aegis in admiration.
“Is something wrong?” asks Aegis.
“No, no, don’t worry haha. I was just thinking you are very elegant.” stutters Leaf back.
“So are you” says Aegis with an angelic smile.
Leaf blushes and shakes his head nervously. He does not know what’s happening in his mind and his body, he was feeling hot and dizzy, is it due to Aegis’s presence? He has no clues but has to get back his spirits.
A loud voice raises up in the room: “:3 Da Stacy declares dat da azure’s anniversary ball ish starting!”. Everyone starts getting ready to dance with their partner. Brooke and Monions, Roof and Vampi, Ithi and Elaine, Curli and Bevs, only Hazey wasn’t dancing, he was sitting in a corner playing on his switch.
“Maybe we should join them too” says Aegis to Leaf.
Leaf nods and grabs Aegis hands then pulls him against him timidly, both dancing on the slow.
“It’s my first-time dancing, I hope you don’t mind because I am terrible…” whispers Leaf.
“It’s okay, I will teach you” whispers back Aegis, holding leaf tightly.
Leaf is blushing hard as he can feel his heart racing. Then try to focus on Aegis steps, trying to follow them. But Aegis was losing the rhythm slowly.
“Is everything okay…?” asks Leaf, notifying that Aegis is looking at Purga and Bisgit dancing together.
“Yes, it’s fine… maybe I am just a little jea-”
“I will be there for you. No matter what.” shushes him Leaf.
Aegis smiles and looks at Leaf in his eyes in adoration then whispers: “Thank you”.
Both are getting their heads closer and closer, feeling their hearts racing, and the breath of the other getting closer to their face. Their noses meet and as their lips shakes very lightly, Leaf close his eyes as Aegis holds is head and gets ready for giving him a wonderful k- “DO YOU WANT TO MARRY ME ?!” raises a voice in the room. Everyone looks to where the voice come from. In the middle of the room: Monions kneeling in front of Brooke, holding an engagement ring and looking at her like the goddess she is at his eyes. Everyone is holding their breath until Brooke finally moves. She kisses Monions’s head and answers: “I-” *CRUNCH CRUNCH* noises shush Brooke, Red couldn’t help herself but the cookies are way too good! Brooke then waits for Red to finish her mouth and answers “Sorry it’s still early… but one day we will.” She helps him to get up then hug him tightly. All the people let out a “AWWWWW” then Tanya exclaims “:3 but da party ish til guing!”.
“So where were we at?” said Aegis to Leaf.
“I think we were going to… Oh my god it’s already 1a.m.! I need to go back home as soon as possible!” stutters Leaf.
“Let me at least bring you back there.”
“I am sorry. Another time maybe.”
“Could we meet again …?”
“Of course, we will. Here’s my number.” says Leaf showing his phone to Aegis.
“Alright, I will call you tomorrow. Goodnight sweet boy.” he bends over and kisses Leaf’s cheek.
“Goodnight dear.” Answers Leaf with a scarlet face.
Leaf quickly waves at Red and goes out, looking at the stars while he walks.
“Is that what people call Love?”
