Let me tell you about my stamina

Alexithymiaa: -Because Noah doesn't have a fucking car, they had to take Tae's car to the comic shop for the evening. Looking out the window aas they pulled up, he raised his brows at the sign. "Looks kind of big for a comic book store."-

Alexithymiaa: // Adam was in the process of wiping down the gaming tables, a rag in his right hand and the spray in his left as he leaned over the surface that had just been vacated of gamers.-
Covet: Tae parked her car and climbed out of it, making her way up to the door. "It's kind of my brother's life project?" She said with a shrug, then laughed. She saw Adam as she came in and gave him a wave, "Hey is my brother in?"// Eli was back in the office working on some comic drawing stuff because that's what his main focus was on.
Alexithymiaa: "It's a comic shop..." He mumbled as he followed her into the store, glancing around and sliding his hands into his pockets. // Adam stood up straight and turned toward the door when the two walked in, gesturing in the direction of the office. "Yeah, he's in the back. Do you want me to grab him for you?"-
Covet: "Yeah, it is, but it's also a nerd emporium, according to the sign." Tae shook her head then nodded at Adam, "Yeah sure if he wants to see me at least." She said then wandered over to the graphic novel section to find the halo novels to keep Noah's attention from slipping too far.
Alexithymiaa: "But I'm not a nerd..." He said in a small voice, because he knew he was definitely not in Kansas anymore. Without giving Adam a second glance, he followed Tae toward the graphic novels, keeping his hands firmly in his pockets. "I'm not reading those." // "Yeah, sure." Adam said, walking over to the counter to stow his rag and the spray before pushing the office door open to linger just inside the room. "Hey your sister is here. She was looking for you, if you're able to spare a minute from your work."-
Covet: "You don't have to, Just look at them. They're actually pretty cool, It's like picture books for adults." She told him opening up the book to show him. // "Oh yeah? Sure thing I am due for a break." Eli said as he set his pen down and got up to stretch and head out into the store area, looking for his sister. Seeing Noah he looked at Adam, "He was with her the night Drew was there wasn't he, is that the new guy?"
Alexithymiaa: "Wow, is that what you think of me?" He asked with a laugh, shaking his head. "I'm okay on the adult picture books. What about games?" He asked, turning to look around for them because that was the only thing he cared about. // Adam stepped out of the office with Eli, hanging back from the pair for a moment so they could talk. "Yeah, that's him. He's..." He paused, trying to figure out a nice way to express his distaste. "Not the nicest..."-
Covet: "Well if the shoe fits, you might as well wear it." Tae told him, then pointed over to the shelves with the games and such. "And the arcade ones are up there." She added. // Eli scrunched up his nose, "Lovely. Sounds just like her type. But.. I guess, he did kind of step in with Tae, so I can't exactly have too much dislike for him."
Alexithymiaa: "It doesn't fit. My feet are way too big for that shoe." He grinned because he was making dick jokes in his hand, starting over toward the game selection. // Adam sighed, watching Noah. "I don't know how much I can judge his character on one action when I've seen everything else he does and says." He paused, waiting to make the connection for Eli. "He's related to Bryan."-
Covet: "Yeah okay, you know what they say about a guy with big feet?" Tae asked him. // Eli nodded, "I thought he looked familiar. Great. Why can't she pick a nice nerdy guy." He grumbled then started to walk over to them.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah. Big socks." He snickered to himself, reaching out to pick up a game case to flip it over and examine the back. He knew he'd been yelled at earlier for charging things to the credit card that were not school related and therefore couldn't actually buy anything. // "No idea..." Adam said under his breath as he started to follow Eli over to where they were standing. "Look who I found." He said to Tae, trying to be lighthearted.-
Covet: "I was going to go with Big ego, but yeah sock... sure." Tae told him then turned around to see her brother. "Hey Eli, Thanks Adam. So, I've brought a new hopeful customer in." She said pointing to Noah. // "Hey Tae, how are you doing?" He asked her then tucked his hands into his pockets as he looked over at Noah, "Oh yeah, what's your interest?"
Alexithymiaa: -Noah smirked and then looked at the approaching Eli and Adam, kind of staring Eli down for some reason. "First person shooters." // Like clockwork, Adam exhaled deeply when Noah answered Eli's question, a constant state of disappointment whenever he opened his mouth.-
Covet: Tae rolled her eyes, "He's super lame like that. He doesn't know anything about the really cool stuff, By the way this is Noah, I don't think you guys have formally met." // Eli shook his head "I know he was there when Drew... well... yeah. I suppose I owe you at least a small thanks for helping."
Alexithymiaa: "Excuse me, I know plenty of cool stuff. Like first person shooters." He shot back, taking a little offense especially considering he was out of his comfort zone here. "Yeah well.. what else was I supposed to do?" Not helping your case, Noah. // Adam ran his hand up through the front of his hair, trying to interject. "Soo.... what can we help you find then? A game?"-
Covet: "Actually I was wondering if you guys would be willing to sponsor us for the Zombie run tomorrow." Tae said smileing at her brother with a big grin. // "Since when do you run?" Eli asked raising an eyebrow at her.
Alexithymiaa: "She doesn't..." Noah mumbled, giving Tae a little bit of side eye because we all know you're not going to fucking run, Tae. // Adam hung back, sort of just awkwardly watching.-
Covet: "I do too!" Tae said, "Besides it's not about the running it's about the money." She said, "So can we please get you to sponsor us?" She looked at Eli then over at Adam. // Eli looked at her, "What are you going to do to earn it?, Because if you're not running I'm not going to sponsor you." He said mostly just being an older butthead brother.
Alexithymiaa: "I'm going to run. She's just going to dress up and look pretty." Noah retorted, only half coming to Tae's defense. // Adam cracked up because he ran every morning and he'd never seen Tae be any sort of active. "At least it's for a good cause?"-
Covet: "Well, look awesome. Zombies aren't pretty." Tae said with a laugh. "Yeah, exactly. See Adam knows what it's all about." // Eli rolled his eyes, "Yeah fine whatever. I'll give you whatever you need. But I expect a video of you running at least a little bit."
Alexithymiaa: "You can put that leg work out to good use for about thirty seconds." Noah said in a teasing tone, nudging Tae's arm gently and trying not to laugh at her. // Adam pursed his lips as he tried not to laugh. "You could get one of those body cams to capture the whole experience."-
Covet: "You guys are all hilarious." She said with a pout. "I'm really going to run at least a little bit.. you watch!" She said crossing her arms, "You just need to pledge an amount for however long we run." Tae told Eli. // "Okay, So since you won't be running far, how about I just write a check out for three hundred?" He said back to her.
Alexithymiaa: "She might not be running far, but I'm running the whole thing. At least some of us have good stamina." He said.... in fucking front of Eli. // Adam instantly stopped laughing, glancing down at his feet uncomfortably.-
Covet: "Nobody wants to hear about your Stamina Noah." Tae said shaking her head. // "Well I was going to do give you five hundred because you were going to run the whole thing, but then you had to say that... so.. three hundred for you both." Eli said as he walked over to the counter to go get the business checkbook.
Alexithymiaa: "It's not my fault I run a lot. Oh wait, I guess it is." He said with a cocky grin, crossing his arms over his chest. // "Yeah..." Adam trailed off, turning to follow Eli to the counter. "I rest my case."-
Covet: "Thank you Eli, Way to go, you just got your sponsorship money dropped for being a cocky ass." Tae asid shaking her head at him. // Eli gave Adam a sympathetic look because he had to live with both of them. "Alright here you go, take this and get out of my shop, Adam and I need to close up."
Alexithymiaa: "I don't care. I don't even know what we're raising money for." He paused to wait for Eli to pass over the check to Tae before edging toward the door. "Okay, time to go home." He said obnoxiously. // "Y'all have a good night." Adam saaid with a wave, anxious to get away from the pair because they made him so uncomfortable.-
Covet: "Goodnight, Thank you Eli. See you at the house Adam." Tae said taking the money as she made her way out the door to her car, because she got what she came here for. // Eli went about helping Adam get the shop closed up.
