  1. [13:56:03] Maria had been on her return from the icy mountains of Dragon Peak, almost to Cinderfall. She sighed, taking a drink of water from her canteen. It... Hadn't been everything she had looked for, but at least she had gotten some of the answers she needed. Now she knew why the Dragons had not joined their side, at least. It was Ryujin's will, and Ryujin was still in support of her efforts - Even if he himself was suppressed.
  2.
  3. She would need to visit the Spirit World soon. There was no doubt in her mind about that.
  4. (Maria Shateiel)
  5. [13:58:36] "Maria!"
  6.
  7. The sight of the red locks in the distance was often locked onto in a moment and the orange haired boy teleported over. At first the bright eyes looked at her and he began to say.
  8.
  9. "Oh sorry wrong person"
  10.
  11. Like the last fifty times he had called out that name when patroling the tunnels but this time he stopped after the 'Oh' part and his mouth twisted upwards into a smile. The boy almost jumped forwards to give the drakanite a hug but he stopped himself and settled for up and down bouncing on the balls of his feet.
  12.
  13. "I need to talk to you.. I want a promotion to Champion!"
  14. (Thom)
  15. [14:04:35] "Champion?" Maria would question, raising an eyebrow. "Hmmm... I don't know Thom. You're very strong, but the title of Champion doesn't just go to those who possess strength. They have to have helped around all of Valmasia, spreading the hope that we've ignited across it."
  16.
  17. "It's not that I don't trust you or think that you will never get to it, I just don't know if you're... There yet. Is there anything you've done that I'm not aware of? I mean, if there was something significant maybe I could use it as weight."
  18. (Maria Shateiel)
  19. [14:09:42] The boy frowned when Maria told him that she didn't know but would quickly slam his foot down onto the ground, taking in a breath. He recalled the words of Nashandra, would would star Maria fiercly in the eye. "First off I was one of the one's who captured Ken Veese. Vox wasn't even there when me, Lucius, Yorrick, and Zain took him down. I'm not sure how that rumor got started.
  20.
  21. Then I went and fought an undead who was enslaving and selling a kid. I fought them, and I rescured the child. Besides that I fought a kaor and beat that too. Both of the fights I did alone without anyone helping me.
  22.
  23. I went with Liara to secure the lodestone of fire, and we stopped future people from being sacrifced to imbude the lodestone with power. That and I went with you to fight the bandits and everything.. Don't you think thats enough?... OR are you saying all that isn't good enough?.."
  24. (Thom)
  25. [14:17:23] "Hmm..." Maria seemed to mull over it. "There were certainly a few things I was unaware of. I apologize for that, not everything reaches my ears, especially with my recent absences." With that, Maria would bow her head. "Very well. I will now recognize you as a Champion of the Eternal Flame. We must return to Cinderfall swiftly however, as we are soon to meet with Clio Hirano herself, to discuss the matter of Dumuzid."
  26. (Maria Shateiel)
  27. [14:19:56] The two came out from the eastern Trystle exit, out from the dark caverns and into daylight. Once more into Cinderfall, a place which he had a very strange relationship with. It couldn't be denied that there were plenty of characters to speak to, and one of them caught his attention; the strange spirit, Lucius.
  28.
  29. With Gala in tow, he walked up to the man, if one could call the spectre that. "Do you have a moment? I have a few questions?" he says, hoping that he would oblige. He had peculiar interests Quazla felt that only he could sate.
  30. (Quazla Mabon)
  31. [14:19:56] The boy would have watched Maria, seeing her start to look over what the youth said. The glowing eyes showed a mixture of fear and dread as to what might be said but eventaully the words came, and with it a grin on Thom's face. The orange haired youth jumped up and down before nodding.
  32.
  33. "Awesome! I'll serve Cinderfall right Maria! And with that the boy would follow the red headed drakanite back towards Cinderfall, blinking when he heard the important sounding thing that was soon to happen.
  34. (Thom)
  35. [14:21:39] Maria would arrive shortly after Quazla, with Thom in tow. She drew her sacred blade, quickly interrupting it. "Members of the Eternal Flame! Gather to my call! We soon meet with Queen Clio Hirano, to discuss the very future of Valmasia! Gather everything you will need, and make haste! I want you all at my side!"
  36. (Maria Shateiel)
  37. [14:23:21] It was a good thing Vanarya decided to quickly take a seat, because not even a minute later Var' thuul had crawled into her lap once again. It was cute, really, but there was always the mildly sad thought that one day he would be too big to do that. That day hopefully would not be for a while.
  38.
  39. Noticing the dragonling's mouth sparking, the girl raised an eyebrow before she started sparking a little herself, though of course being careful to avoid accidentally shocking the dragonling. It was more a way of showing similarity. Then the words of Maria rang through the air and Vanarya easily lifted the dragonling to perch him on her shoulder, moving over to the drakanite.
  40.
  41.
  42. "If you're calling the Eternal Flame to your side, I would swear the oaths before you depart and join you, should that be agreeable."
  43. (Vanarya Kyros)
  44. [14:24:12] Riri pulled her head back as she got a shock to the lip. Than inhaled. "I stay up Twenty Two hours out of the day, fight by throwing sand in people's eyes plus other cheap tricks, and I'm only scared of people who glow the color red with red eyes and pale skin...!!! If you think you can scare me, you gotta 'nother thing coming!" With her head pulled back, she butted heads with Raa'za. If anything she was quick.
  45.
  46. Than put her head against the tree and leaned quietly. "A loud me isn't a nice me, Fat Legs." There was a grin still on her face. Though, it turned errie after a few moments of it being there. And not a spark of fear to what he could have done to her for two hours.
  47.
  48. "Hey! You were talking to me, weren't ya'" Swaying her head side to side still. "I don't have nothin' useful to tell any of you. Not a bit."
  49. (Riri Méizha)
  50. [14:25:55] Lucius would wake from his thoughts as Quazla appeared. Seemingly asking him if he had a moment. Shaking out of his revelry, Lucius would turn to face the Sarradian. Though, before he had a chance to speak, Maria would also appear, calling all the Eternal Flame members to her side.
  51.
  52. "Oh, questions. Tell me what you need to ask, though I might be distracted, considering."
  53.
  54. With that, Lucius would turn to Maria to address her. Last he had heard, the agreed upon terms for a meeting were to be only two people. One leader, and one of their best to follow along. The fact that, terms had seemingly changed without his knowledge was... concerning.
  55.
  56. "Maria, tell me what's going on. Have the terms of the meet changed? And if so, why was I not informed about this?"
  57. (Lucius Volusenna)
  58. [14:28:28] He raised an eyebrow, grinning. In this situation, his terrible habit of laughing hysterically would absolutely crush him, so he calmed himself down. Though, it was quite the twist of fate. The lifestream truly was an incredible thing. He was glad he had devoted himself to watching such omens.
  59.
  60. Quazla turned to Maria, placing his hand atop Gala's head. He offered her a smile as he said, "I came here to apologize for what happened earlier, though it seems that fate has something else in store. A meeting with Queen Hirano? I would love to attend with Gala here." His wing of flora swayed back and forth, taking in the situation.
  61. (Quazla Mabon)
  62. [14:31:02] Maria would thrust her sword into the earth before Vanarya then. "Swear your oaths to the Gods then, one of Courage, one of Wisdom, one of Mercy, and one of Fidelity, and then rise as a member of the Flame." She spoke, very brief. It was clearly a little less than formal, but it would work given the speed they needed to work with.
  63.
  64. "I've altered the terms of our meeting. I don't trust Clio as far as I can throw her. We will not give her the benefit of the doubt. We go in number that even she may hesitate to strike against. If her meeting truly is in good faith, then she has nothing to fear from us, no matter how many she may bring."
  65.
  66. It seemed Maria was taking precautions unbeknownst to either Lucius or Clio. "Quazla, I too apologize for my actions. My mind was sensitive to the plague, it seems, and that affected my judgment greatly. You are welcome to attend; but do not interfere. This is a matter of Cinderfall, not of Sunflower Village."
  67.
  68. Maria would grab a bag, slinging it over her shoulder. "We must make haste. Everyone prepare."
  69. (Maria Shateiel)
  70. [14:31:53] Var'Thuul was a little suprised as he was lifted on to Vanarya's shoulder and she moved over near Maria. He stays on her shoulder carefully, before looking at Quazla and the girl with him. He was still cautious of them. He wasn't a part of the camp and he didn't have a chance to get to know him, so he was staying away from him.
  71.
  72. He looks at the large group of people as he holds on to Vanarya's shoulder a bit tightly. He heard something about going somewhere, but he had never left the camp before. He didn't know what anything outside of this camp was like.
  73. (Var' Thuul)
  74. [14:37:00] The cant of the blunette's head came as she'd been watching her son at play with the Oscuri child, the little brunette it was then that Maria spoke up speaking, an idle glance went over to Lucius. "What Terms?" That was a rather blunt, confused, but amply ready already, short of having to emergency pack. "What's going on?" The confusion was made in reply towards Maria.
  75.
  76. Confused, aggitated, and curious at the spirit, was this his idea? Was this some sick joke? Her arms crossed. Understanding Maria's decision wholly. There was a moment, she'd lean onto her gnarled wooden staff, it was a weapon she kept with her quite often. Blue eyes closing a short moment, before openning as she'd look to Maria.
  77.
  78. "I mean. . . I think it effects everyone, so there shouldn't be a need to apologize, it's just much worse on holy magi." Simply put, she'd look to the braccish tone of the wind, the ruddier nature in the air as she'd shake her head.
  79.
  80. Liara would let them speak before bringing this up. "At any rate, let's get this over with, I'd have wanted to talk with everyone that I trusted with the decision first and foremost. I'm honestly a little disappointed in our Taldaren 'sponsor' at that." Genuine tone to her voice, and rather disgruntled of posture, it was clear her words held the worth of her meaning.
  81. (Liara Myr)
  82. [14:37:52] Well, here it went. The girl, taking the cues from Maria, kneeled in front of the sword and began to speak. "I, Vanarya Kyros-"Surprise! "-swear upon the name of Lord Azrael that I shall be courageous in the face of adversity, act wisely, show mercy to those who deserve it and hold true to these oathes and the cause of the Eternal Flame until such time as I die or am released from these oaths." She knew the basic oaths as she'd been taught them, although it was in the context of being able to recognise when someone was swearing them to her. So, in short, interesting role reversal.
  83.
  84. On Maria's affirmation she would rise, give a deep bow, and then prepare as required for the journey, scratching at Var' Thuul's scales. "Worry not, little one, I shan't allow any harm to come towards you. It shall be an adventure!"
  85. (Vanarya Kyros)
  86. [14:46:24] Gala whispers something.
  87. [14:47:15] His training had to continue. No point in skipping a few days only because he couldn't find his master or something like that. As he'd head outside of the HQ's building, he'd go on to first noticing Haru. Nothing special there, heck maybe he'd go and talk to him for once too? As his head turned though he'd notice them. The horned woman, dark and ominous wings behind her, keeping her in the air.
  88.
  89. Then there was the man next to her, he too gave off a dark vibe. "Haru, what's going on?" he'd question. Soon moving over next to the man and staring towards the two before him with some confusion. "What made the two of you come here, to our base, our home?"
  90. (Jake)
  91. [14:50:40] Bevolt: ...
  92. [14:52:22] Raa'za Mikoto: <*has Riri and Leath slumped on his shoulders*>
  93. [14:52:22] Riri Méizha: <*probably fake sleeping again, don't worry about it*>
  94. [14:52:22] Vanarya Kyros: <*has Var' thuul perched on her shoulder*>
  95. [14:53:13] Var' Thuul: <*1 foot tall dargun has oscuri ride*>
  96. [14:53:13] Haru didn't reall say much to the younger man, though aside form that, Haru knew who they were.
  97.
  98. "Hello Queen Hirano and King Kyros....."
  99.
  100. Haru knew that queen first hand since he spoke with her and her husband a few years back before his wife, Sophia, died.
  101.
  102. Haru began to let off a simple bow and paid his respects to the queen who lead the march against Dumu in the past.
  103.
  104. "What brings yu here Que...."
  105.
  106. Before Haru could finish Jake had bursted out asking Haru what was going on, though he sighed and looked back to the queen in a small remark.
  107.
  108. "As I was saying. What brings you here Queen Hirano?"
  109.
  110. When Haru looked at the queen only a few moments later did Haru hear another flapping noise coming from the other side of him. Though Haru had no idea what was going on. Maybe today, he could get some insight.
  111. (Haru Allmiker)
  112. [14:55:47]
  113. Flap, flap, flap.
  114.
  115. "Hello, hello."
  116.
  117. There is a moment where she finds herself beginning to smile - a gentle laugh slowly escaping past her lips at the gathering numbers. "This isn't exactly what I 'expected' but then again. . .I figured that it would have been better to be transparent. It surprises me. . .However, that you cannot be that of at true leader and come with by yourself and a second." she adds, her wings slowly beginning to fold behind her back - dissipating into nothing. "It's quite. . .Disrespectful." And in that event. . .Everyone knows that the Queen does not handle such things calmly.
  118.
  119. However, with nothing more than a mere sigh and a simple wave of the hand, the Queen speaks.
  120.
  121. "Anyway, let's talk business - shall we?" she questions with nothing more than a slow tilt of her head. "Dumuzid and the others, Lorelei, are currently attempting to bring about their lord of Darkness. I don't know who it is that they are bringing about, however. . .I do feel that the result of the rust is the beginning." she says, her gaze flickering towards Quazla. "We've already established a grouping with that of the Sunflower Village, now, I ask that you and your people fall in line with such. We're not seeing to it that you are 'joining' the alliance, however, I do ask that you guys also. . ." she says, trailing off. "Put aside your differences and join us against Dumuzid's faction." She says, her smile widening.
  122.
  123. "Do know that the terms of the agreement that we had with the Sunflower is also extended to you all as well, which is that Nostvale will not be moving against you in any way, shape, or form, during and after that of Dumuzid's fall. Is there anything else that you'd like to mention or say?"
  124. (Clio Hirano)
  125. [14:56:38] Bevolt whispers something.
  126. [14:58:20] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  127. [14:58:20] Bevolt whispers something.
  128. [14:58:20] Quazla followed the group, interested in how it played out. He held the hand of the young girl beside him, ensuring she was kept safe with him. There was a good chance this sort of engagement would turn sour, especially when one side brought something of a small platoon.
  129.
  130. The druid stood to the side of the field, forming his own little faction in the odd square which was formed between the four. Perhaps there might be a reason for him here, aside from simply watching? Only fate could tell. His wing swished back and forth through the air, like the tail of a cat.
  131. (Quazla Mabon)
  132. [14:58:20] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  133. [14:58:20] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  134. [14:58:20] Jake whispers something.
  135. [14:59:12] Gala whispers something.
  136. [14:59:12] Bevolt whispers something.
  137. [14:59:12] Gala whispers something.
  138. [14:59:12] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  139. [14:59:12] Bevolt whispers something.
  140. [15:00:03] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  141. [15:00:54] Bevolt whispers something.
  142. [15:00:54] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  143. [15:01:45] Sitria Nagano-Draconis whispers something.
  144. [15:02:36] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  145. [15:03:28] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  146. [15:03:28] From the west, across the plains, in clear sight, strode a small group of Magi. They didn't wear a uniform. They didn't share a crest. But it was clear that they were all banded together, in a singular cause. At their head, was a Drakanite woman, who shone like a radiant light, even in the bright daylight of the prairies. It would appear that while Cinderfall had left it's soldiers back in the camp.
  147.
  148. That woman's gaze would be only for Clio and Gavin.
  149.
  150. She'd smile at Clio's little speech, offering them an olive branch of sorts. She had expected such; that Clio would believe she would come seeking such a thing. "Clio Hirano... Ten years ago, I swore upon my parent's death that I would kill you. I have made many an oath since then, but that path I have walked seemed to lead to one inevitable point."
  151.
  152. She'd unsheathe her holy sword, pointing it straight towards the demoness of Nostvale. "Your demise. Dumuzid's demise. The Lich Lord's demise. Yet here you are, acting as if all would be forgiven, as if every heinous crime that you have commited against Valmasia would instantly be forgiven, to seek a greater chance against Dumuzid alone."
  153.
  154. "We do not fear you. We do not fear Nostvale. Sunflower Village may have bent a knee to survive, but we will not. We will fight. If you want the assistance of Cinderfall, it will be on our terms, not yours. Is that understood?"
  155. (Maria Shateiel)
  156. [15:05:10] Gala whispers something.
  157. [15:05:10] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  158. [15:05:10] Vanarya Kyros: <*gives a little sheepish wave to Gavin*> Hello father
  159. [15:05:10] Gavin Kyros: Having fun?
  160. [15:06:01] Vanarya Kyros: <*points at shoulder dragon*> What do you think?
  161. [15:06:01] Gala whispers something.
  162. [15:06:01] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  163. [15:06:01] Gavin Kyros: It'd be better if you, and it were back at home.
  164. [15:06:01] Yorrick wasn't quite sure why he came along to the meeting, he just sorta saw a crowd and followed it. Yet as they arrived and heard Clio's terms, they seemed.... perfectly reasonable in all honesty, Dumuzid was the bigger threat, surely Maria would react reasonably.
  165.
  166. Or not, demanding that any deal here would be made on Cinderfalls terms, Yorrick could only find himself muttering something under his breath. "We're all gonna die."
  167. (Yorrick)
  168. [15:06:01] Gala whispers something.
  169. [15:06:52] Var' Thuul: <*tilts head and looks at Gavin*>
  170. [15:07:44] Raa'za would make sure not to screw up or anything, this moment was extremely important. He had to make sure not to do something that would draw attention, and Riri SHOULD know that if she was to speak up and yell out that he would shock her silly. He would reach over their bodies that was on his shoulders and take off his hat, stowing it away with in his cloak once again.
  171.
  172. The offer given by the Queen was actually pretty good! But Maria went a different route. Apparently if they were to work together it would have to be on Maria's terms... Raa'za was beginning to get iffy. He didn't like the route this situation was heading...
  173. (Raa'za Mikoto)
  174. [15:10:17] Lucius, would be quite livid at this point. Maria had, not only broken the agreed to terms. But now she stood here, telling the queen of Nostvale that she wished to kill her. Even if she intended to, honesty was not a trait to have during negotiations like this. No one knew this better then Lucius. It was that kind of honesty that would lead to her destruction...
  175.
  176. Perhaps, it was a mistake to allow Maria this chance. After all, the queens offer. It was perfect. It was exactly what they needed. It would have given them time to collect their strength. To destroy Dumuzid, before turning their attention towards Nostvale. But... But Maria here turned all of that away. For what? The opportunity to have her hero moment. A hero moment that, in reality was idiotic.
  177. It was, at this point that one could see the air wavering around Lucius as the sheer anger at the idiocy, and clear lack of experience that Maria had, fed into his magma magic.
  178.
  179. Still, he would keep silent. At least, until Clio responded to Maria's words. Though honestly, he foresaw nothing good coming from them. It was... very doubtful that there would be fixing something like that.
  180. (Lucius Volusenna)
  181. [15:12:00] "Big words for someone that shows with a crowd. Why not show me what demise is in an honorable bout?" Perhaps he is a bit hot-headed, but it is apparent that he has no desire in boasting wills against that of numerous individuals.
  182.
  183. "I'll even do it without my blade."
  184.
  185. Crossing his arms, the King of New Alteros would glance over at any whom were interested, such perhaps not a fact granted they did show in numbers. "Then again, I guess this is more about working together, than whom is stronger than the other."
  186.
  187. Grinning, his two cents on the matter hardly pertains
  188. (Gavin Kyros)
  189. [15:12:00]
  190. She breathes in. And out. The young girl finds herself beginning to glance towards that of Maria - merely rolling her eyes at the woman. "You really are stupid arent you, you snivelling little bitch." Does she think that Clio would be respectful in the essence of this. "Do you think I give a shit about anything that has occured in the past. . .? Do you think that I seek for forgiveness?" she says. There is amusement at this partiular moment - her cerulean hue beginning to darken.
  191.
  192. "Let me tell you something, Little miss Shateiel." she says while beginning to raise a single, slow hand. "If thre is one thing that I am certain of - it is that you do not desire me as an enemy, nor do you think that you can possibly strong arm me into doing anything of the sort. Maria Shateiel, if you continue to do as you desire and speak the way that you do to me - you will regret it. Immediately. Her hands slowly move down to her sides, clenching - the cosm pulsing in the distance.
  193.
  194. "You do not have to fear me. You do not have to fear Nostvale, nor the Lich, nor Dumuzid, or anything of the sort. But what you will do is respect me, my people, and my intent. . .Do I make myself very clear. I come here to be cordial with you - however, do not think that I will not turn my face from you. The bigger issue here is not me - but with Dumuzid. And do not think that you can strong arm me or my people into do anything of the sort. I will warn you now. . .That it is NOT on your terms, but it is about being equal. Listen at this particular moment. . .Not out of your own selfish, petty little heart, girl. Either you work with us or you dont work at all. This is my final notion."
  195. (Clio Hirano)
  196. [15:14:33] Yorrick heard what Clio said and he'd look over to Maria.
  197.
  198. "For once in your life, drop the heroic bullshit talk and just take the deal, this is perfectly reasonable stuff she's offering, we should focus on Dumuzid first, rolling up here with this many people was a bad idea on its own, for the love of god do not respond again with some overly prideful crap, just take the deal, we don't want to make Nostvale our flipping enemy."
  199.
  200. He'd then hold up both hands, back away, and place them in his pockets. He didn't see this going well, and if a fight broke out, he didn't wanna get involved.
  201. (Yorrick)
  202. [15:14:33] Raa'za Mikoto: <*mutters under breath*> Sounds good to me...
  203. [15:15:24] Gala whispers something.
  204. [15:15:24] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  205. [15:15:24] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  206. [15:15:24] Gala whispers something.
  207. [15:15:24] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  208. [15:16:16] Gala whispers something.
  209. [15:16:16] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  210. [15:16:16] Oh dear. Father AND Aunty Clio angry. This wasn't great. Shaking her head at her father, the answer to his previous statement, Vanarya reached up to scratch at Var' thuul's scales, more to distract herself than to show him affection, not that that was not being done as well. She hadn't expected father to be here. Aunty Clio was a different story, Vanarya not really having much of an emotional attachment towards her, but Gavin was her father. It was a bit difficult to not be cowed by his irritation towards her, something she was sure he was feeling right now given she had for all intents and purposes aligned herself with potential enemies.
  211. (Vanarya Kyros)
  212. [15:17:07] Gala whispers something.
  213. [15:17:07] Ladon would simply stand back for the moment, but he had made it clear to the Golden members here what would happen if things didn't go right here. He had asked those besides himself to back off and let things commence. For the most part, he would pull his Desert Queen and put the end into the ground, resting his hands on it. It was almost like he was using it as a cane, but he wasn't THAT old yet.
  214.
  215. He would look towards Clio, knowing that her reaction wasn't going to be much of a good one.. They had just said they would kill Clio, and whether that meant now or later, it would surely lead to some sort of chaos. Ladon though, had no clue of original terms, or what was meant to happen here. Obviously, there wasn't meant to be so many.
  216.
  217. However, as serious as this was, Ladon would choose to speak up, perhaps take away any sort of conflict to this. However, he knew he couldn't do that. He would simply look towards the Flame. "I do suggest... Whatever deal has been given to you by Queen Clio, take it. It is certainly a smarter choice than what seems to be happening already.." He couldn't speak for the Flame, and he could barely speak for the Golden as is. Perhaps he could offer them privacy, if things get worse.
  218. (Ladon Larencia)
  219. [15:22:14] Back through these very fields again. His visit with Yuri had been a plesant surprise not too long ago, but he'd returned to Nostvale temporarily to handle some errands and find an oddjob or two to get by with. The gift of magic recently bestowed upon him opened many opportunities for him, and with this power, he was able to make much more of a living through more ismpler means - be it helping doctors out at the hospital, or simply using it to perform a few tricks for the public eye to watch - anything to make a penny nowadays.
  220.
  221. Once everything was in order though, he figured now would be his best time to head on back to Sunflower Village.
  222.
  223. So on his walk, whistling in a rather absent-minded state without much of a care at all. It's this kind of peace that he could be thankful for really, and now he stares on up at the sky. That tranquility that these open fields could bring was cut off like a chord though, for in the distance he could hear, as well as see a mass of people. His eyes panned over in the direction, and he squinted. A slow approach made.
  224.
  225. What in the world...?
  226. (Diarmuid Cadurcis)
  227. [15:22:14] Var' Thuul: <*nervously moving on Vanarya's shoulder, understanding some of what wa said*>
  228. [15:23:05] Vahla had left the guild hall and stood near Ladon. She heard him speak and saw the gathering of the foolish Holy wannabe hero's facing against Queen Clio Hirano. As part of the Golden Voluminous, she was vowed to protect the lives of the citizens of the Alliance. The Eternal Flame were idiots to her. To be fair, she was a Ninja.
  229.
  230. Heroes died young and very foolishly. She as a Ninja caused enough deaths that her hands would never be clean for what she did. If a battle did occur, she would side with the Golden Voluminous against the Eternal Flame. She did only learn Holy to better kill Occultists. She didn't become a Holy Warrior to be a wannabe hero like the fools in front of her.
  231. (Vahla Larencia)
  232. [15:25:39] "The only thing I ask of you," Maria spoke, her eyes narrowing as her blade remained pointed at the almighty duo, "Is that after Dumuzid is defeated, you abdicate your thrones. Both of you. To your children. Whereas you are corrupt, beyond salvation, and you know this as fact - They still have hope. If you yourselves cannot be saved, at least save your children from the paths you have walked. Do not make the decision for them. Do not force them to fight you."
  233.
  234. "This is not forgiveness. This is mercy. Something I do not believe has been provided to you before. One day, judgment shall come upon you, but I would..." She would sheath her sword, looking away, "I would prefer if it were left up to the Gods, and not the hands of a war. You have both had significant reigns, and your names will doubtless go down in history, but this is where you choose what you can be remembered as."
  235.
  236. "Are you heroes or villains? Can you still make one good choice for this world?"
  237. (Maria Shateiel)
  238. [15:25:39] Departing from Antegria where her former family lived, the child spent a few days on the boat for Nostvale. That hadn't been her destination in mind at the end of her travel, it had been for Sunflower Village to speak with Quazla about a situation she mistakingly involved herself in.
  239.
  240. By now she had made it back within the city of Nostvale, swiftly running into people and out through the gate towards the plains where she would conjure winds beneath her to increase her movement speed!
  241.
  242. Though it would be apparent that a gathering of sorts had been near the Golden Voluminous building near the caverns of Trystle and there stood many she recognized and most she hadn't. Clio Hirano, her brothers, most of the Eternal Flame members, Quazla, Gala, and many other unfamiliar faces.
  243.
  244. Within her mind she pondered about what could be going on. She decided it was best to slip in and observe for now at Quazla's side, one of the very few people she trusted fully aside from one other.
  245.
  246. Asami tugged at Quazla's clothing, staring up at the man she would whisper softly. "Quazla, what's going on here? Her eyes traveled back in the direction of the group, watching closely and listening attentively to all details!
  247. (Asami Adaliah)
  248. [15:26:30] Vanarya Kyros: <Wait, what did Maria just say?>
  249. [15:27:21] Yorrick: <We're all gonna die>
  250. [15:29:04] Sirus Blackmane: <*Sirus furrowed his brows*>
  251. [15:29:55] Raa'za Mikoto: <*sighs and looks around*>
  252. [15:29:55] Raa'za Mikoto: <You make me bring prisoners to a battle...
  253. [15:29:55] Raa'za Mikoto: >
  254. [15:29:55] Thom: -slowly facepalming in the back-
  255. [15:29:55] Vahla Larencia: *if the fight did head into the HQ, then yes she'd be fighting since she's icly there*
  256. [15:29:55] Yorrick: <*nods at Thom*>
  257. [15:32:28] The druid watched the scene unfold with overwhemling emotion. How was he supposed to feel? The feeling of cowardice, the words ringing true that he had bent before them. Yet, he also felt pity for those before him. Sure, he had bent his knee, but only so his people would not fall. It seemed that a similar scenario would unfold before him.
  258.
  259. The man held onto his stomach, eyeing each and every person in the ranks of the Eternal Flame. Almost all of them children in their own right. Would the two rulers opposite to them slaughter them? It was possible, given the speech directed at them. He felt like he wanted to throw up.
  260.
  261. At his side, a familiar, very unexpected face comes up at tugs at his robe. He leans down and whispers something to her before watching the the scene before them with a grave stare.
  262. (Quazla Mabon)
  263. [15:33:20] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  264. [15:34:11] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  265. [15:34:11] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  266. [15:34:11]
  267. There is a moment where she feels nothing more than intense irritation. If there was one thing that Clio is - it is that she becomes terribly temperamental when rubbed the wrong way. And to be exact- Maria Shateiel has potentially pissed her off beyond any normal means. The woman's hues flicker once again - the wing upon her back beginning to flutter in irritation. even the fauna itself seems disturbed as she speaks once more.
  268.
  269. ". . .Maria Shateiel. . ."
  270.
  271. Once more, does she find herself beginning to shake her head. "I'll tell you something once more. And this will be final. You know little of anything of me, my children, or anything of the sort. You want to speak of my children? You can speak of the things that I've done, Maria but drag my children into this and I will make sure that you will be eating your own entrails." The queen says - the skies themselves slowly being ripped open, the aura around her body beginning to pulse rapidly. "No matter my plans. No matter what I am doing, if I decide to leave the throne, it is on my own terms." she says. "I am The Queen of Nostvale. I am the Daughter of Maia Hirano and Calliope Kastra and I will not bend, bow, or break for a foolish little leader who does not know the difference between an enemy, a friend, and someone extending a hand to make sure all of you can still stand here."
  272.
  273. "You believe that you have the ability to bring judgement upon me, Maria? You believe that you have some sort of 'incentive' for being the 'little hero' that could, when you're actually really foolish?" she laughs. "My choice was to extend the hand to Valmasia, to give you all a chance. If I desired to harm anyone of you. Then I would have done so the moment I found out that you created your village. . .But you are beyond saving at this particular moment. Maria." she says flatly.
  274.
  275. "Your last answer is this. Will you side with us against Loranthis? Answer only to this. Yes. Or no. I don't want anything inbetween, I don't want to hear any 'noblebright' foolishness coming from your lips. All I want is this yes or no."
  276. (Clio Hirano)
  277. [15:35:02] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  278. [15:36:44] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  279. [15:36:44] Gala: <*She hides behind Quazla*>
  280. [15:37:36] The hulking armour clad Drakanite moved outside with vigour as there was a voluminous pile of people around that looked rather unfairly sided for some reason, having the thought of some danger spilling out the Dragoness quickly was next to her father Ladon. Turning toward the older man she gave him a serious look confused to what might actually be happening fight outside of her own base!
  281.
  282. "Father please briefly explain to me why there are royals standing against another group... I think that this requires us to take a step back if you know what I mean?" she looked at him with a determined expression, they did not want to be standing in the center of whatever might be going on. The words of Clio began to boom forth, it was now clear that they were seeing if an alliance of sort is happening, that was the guess anyway. Hydra was big, but looking around at the group before her, there was a certain level of danger that should not be crossed unless absolutely necessary.
  283. (Hydra Larencia)
  284. [15:38:27] Yorrick would look over to Maria, he'd been in the guild for a while, he knew full well she was most likely gonna answer with some noblebright speech and get them into a fight, so he'd look around to everyone, raise his hands once more, and back away.
  285.
  286. They'd brought like half the magi in there faction to this one meeting, if a fight were to break out it wouldn't be fair in the slightest, so he would not take part in it if one broke out, just stepping off to the side and shaking his head, ridiculousness.
  287. (Yorrick)
  288. [15:38:27] Sighing, Raa'za would walk away. Not away from the whole thing no. Raa'za would go over by the bank of water and lay down Leath and Riri. Away from the the battle that was most likely about to begin. Sighing he would walk back to the front lines and activate his water aura. It was time for a decisive battle....
  289.
  290. One that Raa'za didn't like the looks of so much..
  291. (Raa'za Mikoto)
  292. [15:39:18] Asami Adaliah: <*looking over at the Eternal Flame members - she spots her brothers!*>
  293. [15:39:18] Evidently, there is perhaps much one could miss amidst the many years that seem to pass with these individuals under his nose. To claim so much under the pretense of a self-righteousness certainly does not sit well with him, for the very patience he contains seems to be running thin, incredibly fast.
  294.
  295. "I've no time for games, nor threats. You've heard her demands, and I've hardly the patience to play back and forth with you lot." Time is of essence, and while they are bickering amongst one another, the only threat they face remains a unified one.
  296.
  297. "And you, Vanayra, I suggest you step aside and leave this group. As you can see, this Drakanite's competence is whaning in the face of common sense." A simple click of the tongue however warrants continuance of his statement.
  298.
  299. "I don't even see why you should even bother, Clio. The answer should have been obvious from the get go, and I'd be more ready to see whom it is that'd disagree and try my blade."
  300. (Gavin Kyros)
  301. [15:39:18] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  302. [15:39:18] Thom: -sighs and nods to Yorrick-
  303. [15:40:09] The young warrior could feel the tension of the negotiations rising with every passing second. From Maria's demands to Cilo's irritation, he was worried that things were about to go south real fast. He'd be tempted to draw his greatsword just in case but decided against it for he didn't want to strain the negotiations further. For now, he could only hope.
  304.
  305. Sirus watched Maria closely, anxious for what her answer would be. If it was a no things could possibly get ugly. Hopefully it won't turn out to be an all-out brawl between the two factions.
  306. (Sirus Blackmane)
  307. [15:40:09] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  308. [15:41:00] Gala whispers something.
  309. [15:41:52] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  310. [15:41:52] Riri Méizha whispers something.
  311. [15:41:52] Gala whispers something.
  312. [15:41:52] Riri Méizha whispers something.
  313. [15:41:52] Var'Thuul was getting nervous. He understood the situation was getting violent, having heard the tones of their voices and understood some of the things said, having been around the people long enough to learn a little valmasian. He couldn't speak it though.
  314.
  315. Vanarya would feel his nervousness. Between his shaking and his claws tightening on her shoulder a little. He obviously had never even seen a fight, let alone fought in one. He would likely be no help at all if a fight actually broke out, with the possibility he might run away.
  316. (Var' Thuul)
  317. [15:41:52] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  318. [15:43:34] Gala whispers something.
  319. [15:44:25] The boy stops in place.
  320.
  321. His squint grows wide-eyed.
  322.
  323. That woman. That man. He needn't even have them to look back this way to tell who they were. Their hair. They were royalty in some of Valmasia's most popular cities - he's seen these faces before at least once in the newspaper no doubt, and the presence they generated, even from here, was down right intimidating for the boy. A gulp is made as he watched the skies darken and part, and the subsequent clap of thunder that sounded off. It's enough to have the boy nearly falling from the intensity.
  324.
  325. A step back is tkaen. Whatever was about to ensue, he felt more than certain that he couldn't compete on their level, no did he have reaosn to intervene. He was but a small town Krausite boy.
  326.
  327. This was out of his league.
  328. (Diarmuid Cadurcis)
  329. [15:45:16] Asami Adaliah: ....
  330. [15:45:16] Asami Adaliah: <*hugs onto Quazla*>
  331. [15:46:08] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  332. [15:47:50] This was quite enough for Lucius. He knew what would come of the path Maria was trying to head down. Even if they managed to succeed in the fight that seemed to be inevitable, the little group that was the Eternal Flame couldn't hope to survive on not one, not two, but three fronts against Dumuzid, Nostvale, and New Alteros. What Maria was showing to Lucius, was that she was no where near qualified to be leading. If this was the kind of situation she was leading her people into.
  333.
  334. Quickly, Lucius would make his way up to the Drakanite girl. Anger clear on his face as he... somewhat, grabbed her. Though his hands would pass through her arms, rather then actually managing to touch her.
  335.
  336. "Maria. You will stop, right now. This is not being a hero, this is being a fool. You're risking the lives of every single person that follows you, out of some sort of misguided pride and vendetta against Clio. Believe me, I can understand it. But there is nothing to be gained out of this. Either accept the terms. Or stand down from these negotiations, and allow me and Liara to handle this. Even if you succeed on what you seem to be intent on doing here, we would not survive past the third month, fighting on three fronts like this."
  337.
  338. Lucius' Ultimatum to Maria was clear. Though he couldn't stop her, he had made his point. If she continued this way, they would die. Her personal feelings aside, he hoped that she would at least allow reason to sway her words for now. Lest she destroy them all in the end.
  339. (Lucius Volusenna)
  340. [15:47:50] This situation was only growing to get worse. However, he would quickly address his daughter. "Ahh, yes Hydra... it does appear some thing are going down outside of our base. This is a meeting! Or at least, Queen Clio intended it to be." He would turn to Hydra completely. "Can you allow me to handle this? Just keep the others safe for what could happen? This requires a speaker, not a fighter."
  341.
  342. Ladon would begin to walk, out more towards the center of the two groups. He would turn directly to Maria and for a moment, just look her over. "Yes, indeed... you remind me of myself when i was young. I tried to be heroic, and fight against all the power in the world, to make it better..." He would sigh. "But that gets your allies and friends killed, you hear?"
  343.
  344. "A long time ago, I was a part of something quite similar to what you are doing, acting like Nostvale is at your own mercy, when in this situation, it is not in your favor... I wonder why someone would foolishly drive her comrades, her followers into a said meeting, only to throw this on them into this 'fake hero' of a speech you are giving. I ask you now, whatever deal Clio has given you, to work together,"
  345.
  346. He would sigh. "Dumuzid and Loranthis are a bigger threat than either of these sides will ever be. If you've seen him in battle, you would know. If you continue down this path, you aren't seeking any 'justice' or 'vengence'. You are just getting your allies killed. So what Clio is offering you, your last chance? Take it. Do the smart thing, and do what you should have done in the first place... Don't fuck it up for your comrades. Not for the country."
  347. (Ladon Larencia)
  348. [15:48:41] Gala whispers something.
  349. [15:48:41] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  350. [15:48:41] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  351. [15:49:32] Raa'za Mikoto whispers something.

  355. [15:49:32] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  356. [15:49:32] Gala whispers something.
  357. [15:50:24] Gala whispers something.
  358. [15:50:24] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  359. [15:50:24] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  360. [15:51:15] Gala whispers something.
  361. [15:51:15] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  362. [15:51:15] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  363. [15:51:15] Gala whispers something.
  364. [15:51:15] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  365. [15:51:15] Gala whispers something.
  366. [15:52:06] Gala whispers something.
  367. [15:52:06] Gala whispers something.
  368. [15:52:06] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  369. [15:52:06] Gala whispers something.
  370. [15:52:06] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  371. [15:52:06] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  372. [15:52:57] Gala whispers something.
  373. [15:52:57] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  374. [15:52:57] Aziza Malakia whispers something.
  375. [15:52:57] Gala whispers something.
  376. [15:53:48] Aziza Malakia whispers something.
  377. [15:53:48] Dante Malakia whispers something.
  378. [15:53:48] Aziza Malakia whispers something.
  379. [15:53:48] Dante Malakia whispers something.
  380. [15:53:48] Dante Malakia whispers something.
  381. [15:53:48] Aziza Malakia whispers something.
  382. [15:54:40] The Commander knew that her father was right, he had survived through many battles and if anyone might possibly have the chance to be a diplomat it would be him in this situation. If it was a mere meeting that was happening, from what Hydra remembered it was rather easy to speak with the Queen. At least that was her recollection of what happened, peering around with her one haunting eye the massive Drakanite was not happy about raised tones and eager soldiers.
  383.
  384. "Do what you must father, I understand that there is a time to fight and a time to speak.. I am better with the latter." nodding toward him, her fists were more powerful than voice so allowing his feet to continuously move toward them all she stood at attention.
  385.
  386. Waiting for whatever might happen.
  387. (Hydra Larencia)
  388. [15:56:22] Thom: -burries his face in his hands-
  389. [15:56:22] Asami Adaliah: <*let's go of Quazla and looks worried*>
  390. [15:57:13] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  391. [15:57:13] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  392. [15:57:13] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  393. [15:58:04] Maria would turn her gaze from Clio and Gavin, to Lucius, to everyone around. Her crimson gaze was ferocious, determined, but deep within it, one could see an uncertainty.
  394.
  395. After a few seconds, Maria would take a step back. "If it is the will of Valmasia for Cinderfall to fight Dumuzid together with you... Then I will not oppose it. I am no king or queen. Merely a sword for the people.' Her gaze would focus back on the depraved nightmares that were Clio and Gavin, giving a nod.
  396.
  397. "We will support you. One day though, the price of your sins, the debt that you owe this world? It will be paid." It was clear that Maria was only listening to the people of Cinderfall, and her ideology and objectives had not changed in the slightest. "When shall we march?"
  398. (Maria Shateiel)
  399. [15:58:04] Aamon whispers something.
  400. [15:58:04] Aamon whispers something.
  401. [15:58:56] Gavin Kyros: I wonder if you'll be the one that makes me pay.
  402. [15:58:56] Yorrick: Probably not.
  403. [15:58:56] Gavin Kyros: Darn, I was getting a little excited.
  404. [15:58:56] Gala whispers something.
  405. [15:58:56] Yorrick: Sorry to get your hopes up.
  406. [15:58:56] Asami Adaliah: Thank goodness...
  407. [15:58:56] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  408. [15:58:56] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  409. [15:58:56] Vanarya Kyros: <Oh thank the Lord Azrael>
  410. [15:59:47] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  411. [15:59:47] Gala: <*Holding up her hand, the child gives a little wave to Aamon*>
  412. [15:59:47] Ladon Larencia: <simply folds arms in silence. Something finally clicked..>
  413. [15:59:47] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  414. [16:00:38] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  415. [16:00:38] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  416. [16:01:29] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  417. [16:02:20] Haru was trying to figure out what in the world was going on. At first the whole conversation went well, then now, it went straight south. It wasn't geting any better. With everything going south, Haru began to notice that a battle was getting ready to commence.
  418.
  419. With the war coming up, there was no time for fighting and everyone needed to bound together for the long storm ahead, though with the tention rising, Haru began to turn toward Hydra for a moment.
  420.
  421. "Commander....you know as well as I do that this cant happen here......If they fight we might as well kiss the War goodbye....."
  422. (Haru Allmiker)
  423. [16:03:12] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  424. [16:03:12] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  425. [16:04:03] Ladon Larencia: <Nods silently>
  426. [16:04:03] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  427. [16:05:45] Liara Myr: <*pointedly peers over to Maria, not really saying anything*>
  428. [16:05:45] Gala whispers something.
  429. [16:05:45] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  430. [16:05:45] Gala whispers something.
  431. [16:05:45] Sirus let out a heavy sigh of relief. Thankfully Maria had chosen the answer most Valmasian here desired. Isn't that what a leader like Maria should be? A voice for the people? "Oh good... I was getting worried there for a second."
  432.
  433. He looked over to Maria and gave her an approving nod, albiet his face still showed some concern on it considering how close this meeting could've ended in disaster.
  434. (Sirus Blackmane)
  435. [16:06:36] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  436. [16:06:36]
  437. The virus pulses into existence at this particular moment. The feeling of the cosm throbs like a harsh, sickening heart beat. The marks of the Chimera can be seen trailing amongst her form - blackened lines of ichor and malice covering her body at the sheer thought of the woman threatening not only her city, but those that she loves. It has become unforgiveable. It has become suffocating at this particular moment. The staff upon her back is clenched, the metal bending within her hand as the ocultism is slowly lifted. . .From her form.
  438.
  439. She cannot breathe at this particular moment. The amount of irritation and foolishness coming from Maria Shateiel was more than enough to damn the entirety of Cinderfall. But it doesn't matter. . . .Not anymore. The power of the cosm would be reabsorbed back into her body, the wings upon her back vanishing at the moment as she turns upon her heel.
  440.
  441. "This wil be my last statement, towards you and those of Cinderfall." The Queen states - several voices of the Acrux spilling past her lips, echoing her speech. "Do you see this woman as your leader? Do you see how foolish she is? How blind she is to what it is that I offer. I only mean to assist Valmasia but she aims to damage it with her very claims. Do you really want this woman to be your leader after the show here? I pray that you all fix her attitude. That you fix her and save your own city before she runs it into the ground. I am that of a Higher Power, but I would never do such a thing to people that I am attempting to ally with. Cinderfall. . .Your leader has disappointed me. And all of you should be disappointed in her for being unable to see the truthfulness here. This meeting is not about me. It was never about that of my actions, but about Dumuzid and she has shown just how unprepared she is. When you leave here, think of what she has said. The danger that she has nearly placed you in. And teach her how to not only be a leader, but an actual woman and stick to her word." With that being said, the Queen swivels upon her heel.
  442.
  443. "I have given many things for Valmasia. I have sacrificed the love of my life, the safety of my children, and have attempted to give all of my citizens the things that they desire. However. . .I will not be tested. When the day comes, Maria. Know that you will suffer." With that being said, the Queen would merely turn away - walking from the situation at hand.
  444.
  445. "Everyone deserves a chance, Maria. And that. . Was your chance."
  446. (Clio Hirano)
  447. [16:06:36] Raa'za Mikoto: <*Sighs*>
  448. [16:07:28] Clio Hirano: Come, Gain, Aamon, and others.
  449. [16:07:28] Gala whispers something.
  450. [16:07:28] Clio Hirano: We've got Dumuzid to worry about.
  451. [16:07:28] Riri Méizha: <*spawled out on the ground, relaxing*>

  455. [16:08:19] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  456. [16:08:19] Aamon: ...Mm.
  457. [16:08:19] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  458. [16:08:19] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  459. [16:08:19] Asami Adaliah whispers something.
  460. [16:09:10] Aamon whispers something.
  461. [16:09:10] Gala whispers something.
  462. [16:09:10] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  463. [16:09:10] Clio Hirano whispers something.
  464. [16:09:10] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  465. [16:09:10] Gala whispers something.
  466. [16:09:10] Aamon whispers something.
  467. [16:10:01] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  468. [16:10:01] Gala whispers something.
  469. [16:10:01] Clio Hirano whispers something.
  470. [16:10:01] Gala: <*She sighs quietly*>
  471. [16:10:01] Aamon whispers something.
  472. [16:10:01] Quazla Mabon: Clio, would you care to come over for lunch?
  473. [16:10:01] Aamon whispers something.
  474. [16:10:01] Gala: I--...
  475. [16:10:01] Aamon whispers something.
  476. [16:10:01] Quazla Mabon: Gala wants to speak to Aamon too, it seems.
  477. [16:10:52] Gala whispers something.
  478. [16:10:52] Clio Hirano: < *slowly turns upon her heel* >
  479. [16:10:52] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  480. [16:10:52] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  481. [16:10:52] Gala whispers something.
  482. [16:10:52] Clio Hirano: Give me the time to cool down a bit and I'll be on my way there.
  483. [16:10:52] Quazla Mabon: Alright, thank you.
  484. [16:10:52] Haru Allmiker: *Haru would have sighed for a moment*
  485. [16:10:52] Quazla Mabon whispers something.
  486. [16:11:44] Gala: <*Internal screaming..Poor Haydn*>
  487. [16:11:44] Aamon whispers something.
  488. [16:11:44] Quazla Mabon: Let's go, kids.
  489. [16:11:44] Clio Hirano: < * -Struts- away* >
  490. [16:11:44] The tension still palpable despite an agreement being made, Vanarya released a sigh of relief. The last thing she wanted was to watch her friends and her family fight, so whilst this was not exactly the end she was hoping for, it was better than it could have been. As the Royals went to leave, Vanarya called out a simple request for her father. She was not abandoning the Eternal Flame, but she could not just watch him go without speaking.
  491.
  492. Several things went through her head to say to him, before finally she just sighed. "Give Mother my love. Damian too."
  493.
  494. (Vanarya Kyros)
  495. [16:11:44] Aamon: <*Takes after Clio with slow, heavy steps. His murmurs are harsh*>
  496. [16:11:44] Clio Hirano whispers something.
  497. [16:11:44] Aamon: Mm.
  498. [16:12:35] Gavin Kyros: Of course.
  499. [16:13:26] Hydra Larencia: <*Nods to the Queen*>
  500. [16:13:26] Haru Allmiker: *Haru scratches his head for a momen*
  501. [16:13:26] Haru Allmiker: *Haru looked at the Flame for a moment*
  502. [16:13:26] Maria Shateiel: Well then, I suppose we shall head back to Cinderfall then.
  503. [16:14:17] Ladon Larencia: <Looks down irritated>
  504. [16:14:17] Raa'za Mikoto: <*follows Maria*>
  505. [16:14:17] Hydra Larencia: <*Turns head to Ladon*>
  506. [16:14:17] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  507. [16:16:00] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  508. [16:16:00] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  509. [16:16:00] Thom whispers: ...What do you think?
  510. [16:16:00] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  511. [16:16:00] Haru Allmiker: (ima prob red i need more RPP and im still waiting on my check
  512. [16:16:00] Ladon Larencia: <nods>
  513. [16:16:00] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  514. [16:16:51] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  515. [16:16:51] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  516. [16:16:51] Ladon Larencia whispers something.
  517. [16:16:51] Sirus Blackmane: I'm just glad we didn't have to resort to fighting but...
  518. [16:16:51] Hydra Larencia whispers something.
  519. [16:16:51] Var' Thuul: <*small worried growl*>
  520. [16:16:51] Ladon Larencia: <speaks up.> Fighting wouldn't have even had to have been on the table. <Narrowed eyes>
  521. [16:16:51] Sirus Blackmane: <*He sighed*> That meeting looked like it was going bad real fast.
  522. [16:16:51] Hydra Larencia: <*Glaring toward the group*>
  523. [16:17:42] Raa'za Mikoto: Ladon.
  524. [16:17:42] Maria Shateiel: Hydra.
  525. [16:17:42] Hydra Larencia: Maria.
  526. [16:17:42] Ladon Larencia: Hm?
  527. [16:17:42] Maria Shateiel: Don't forget yourself. You serve Ryujin first. Not her.
  528. [16:17:42] The gaze on Maria stayed for a moment, peering over to the woman, questioning if this wasn't just the rust getting to her brain again, causing some addling out of it all. There were no words, only a stare that might feel a little judgemental, pointing her direction, the rhetoric of heroism never truly called for stone walling so hard, at least she'd relented and offered to stand for one battle alongside Nostvale. Perhaps Clio was the one stone walling in truth? Even still, the blunette remained idly peering Maria's way as Clio spoke.
  529.
  530. But as she left, Liara hadn't looked away from Maria. "We'll need to talk, when we get home." Pointedly her words, wow, Liara had grown up while Maria was gone, no timid trepidation, and not even a lick of sobriety to the notion of war.
  531.
  532. Blue eyes were focussed upon her, before she'd go over to Arya and her son. "Heya Var'Thuul, sorry I didn't really pay you any attention lil guy, are you hungry at all?" She'd reach back, coming to pull a rather nice piece of boar bacon out for the dragon, it was not just a cut, but a whole steak.
  533. (Liara Myr)
  534. [16:18:33] Raa'za Mikoto: I sold you chocolates remember?
  535. [16:18:33] Thom: ... -sighs again-
  536. [16:18:33] Hydra Larencia: <*Crosses arms*> And you are the one in need of telling me?
  537. [16:18:33] Ladon Larencia: Ahh, yes. Delicious it was, but...
  538. [16:18:33] Riri Méizha: <*hummed delightfully on Raa za's shoulder...*>
  539. [16:18:33] Ladon Larencia: <Looks at Hydra for a moment>
  540. [16:18:33] Yorrick whispers: Yo guys
  541. [16:18:33] Maria Shateiel: When the time comes, I'll be counting on you.
  542. [16:18:33] Yorrick whispers: So I ain't alone in thinking this whole situation was bullshit right?
  543. [16:18:33] Vahla had listened to both sides. Well at least they all agreed Dumuzid was too great an evil to not fight together. She had heard Maria's words. It's not that she didn't agree objectively with Maria's point of view. However, Vahla had made a vow to protect the citizens of the Alliance.
  544.
  545. She did agree with Maria's viewpoint of all evil falling to the sword. The few hundred people Vahla had killed; were all Occultist and all evil and deserving of death. Clio and Gavin were both beings of darkness that someday would be purged. They were a necessary evil in comparison to Dumuzid.
  546.
  547. When the day came for the Alliance to fall, Vahla would follow the Light. Occultists, Vampires, Yokai and Malcerpians were all beings she wouldn't hesitate to kill.
  548. (Vahla Larencia)
  549. [16:18:33] Maria Shateiel: Make the right choice.
  550. [16:19:24] Hydra Larencia: I already told you before Maria.
  551. [16:19:24] Thom whispers: Not by a longshot..
