Robot Girl (First Test + New Boring Introduction Essay)

The first test Tame recieved from her new school was excessively easy to the point of confusion, a mess of questions that covered the same exact situations with only ethnicities and appearances changed mixxed in with procedure questions she had memorized while still in gradeschool. Her answers were textbook and written in perfect penmanship in perfect rows.

She had been done within ten minutes with all but the final question... Why did you become a hero?

She tapped the eraser on her pen against her chin, she stared out the window. She looked at the ceiling... Yet still her mind was blank. It was a simple question, but it felt so obvious to her that answering it wrapped around into being hard. "What else would I do?" was ultimately what was written in the box, leaving a massive blank space below it that weighed heavily against her. They must want more, but what could she say? She wanted to protect people, to make friends, and to save the day. She wanted to be a hero because she wanted to be a hero.

The secondary test was an introductory piece designed to encourage socializing between students, and since she was officially being introduced to the class for this lesson it was a perfect time to hopefully break the ice with her new classmates!

Question one: Do you look up to any Pro Heroes? What about them seems like a shining example of a hero to you? If you find them lacking, what do you think they should do different?

Hmm. I respect Ms. Aimi a lot! She encourages everyone to do their best and has so many friends, and she teaches heroes too! Definately my favorite! But I also like Ms. Akagi, she's not nearly as popular especially not anymore but her comedy was one of the few things that could bring a smile to the faces of those in pain. Its a sadly under-emphasized skill for most heroes to not just save people, but to make them feel better. Mr Magnum Shrimp also gets a lot of points for his desire to uplift others and being a bright shiny personality that can brighten peoples day! The internet says he is annoying, but I don't see it.


Question two: You all have somewhat of an idea about your classmates quirks from seeing them in action, working together, or just speaking. What are some nuances to your quirk you think others should know? The most important part of teaming up with another hero is knowing the strengths and limitations of eachothers quirks, so describe yours.

I don't actually have that much knowledge about my classmates yet, Kudasai! My quirk is the ability to use the power of friendships to reinforce myself! Once someone lends me their strength I can call upon that relationship and become an even greater hero thanks to the upgrade I can create with just a bit of blood or hair donated. We can do cool teamwork moves and they can teach me how their quirk works until I understand it on a level only someone who has used it can, then I can use my brilliant strategies even better to make us unstoppable as a team! . . . But I can't create an upgrade in an emergency, Just equip ones I already have. So I need to have friends willing to help me out before I need their quirk or I'll have to find a different way to save the day.


Question three: What role do you find yourself most suited for? Offense and directly fighting or assisting others in fighting villains? Defense and being able to protect civilians while doing battle with a villain? Rescue where you can assist those who have been hurt or trapped and need help getting to a safe location? Support where you mostly just assist other heroes before or after they go into the field? Social work where you work on detaining a villain without resorting to violence and desturction simply talking them down? Recon work where you gather information and scout threats without necessarily wanting to step into the limelight yourself? The generalist who can do it all thanks to their quirks broad uses?

I think I'm the very definition of a generalist! I could do anything as well as anyone if my friends are willing to teach me. My root power is well suited for Offense and Rescue though. With my Xrays and heat vision and super strength and turning parts of my body into lil' drones and stuff to help people trapped away under rubble or find the really well hidden ones before they get crushed! But my strongest weapon is my mind, so I'm also a bit of a Recon/Support person too, These classifications don't work well with such a varied powerset I guess!


Question four: Which of your fellow students do you think you could work together with the best? Who do you want to get to know and havent had the chance?

Hopefully everyone! The more friends I have the better of a hero I can be, I don't think I have that much preference in who to team up with, but I think Ms. Yui has a really useful power that would expand my horizons a lot, not to mention she just seems like she could really use a friend! I want to get to know all of them and havent gotten the chance yet, so I hope this paper and my stunning introduction will be enough to get some people excited to meet me!


The final question: What sort of hobbies do you enjoy when you aren't working on school work or training? Afterall this is the biggest part of developing a social connection to your fellow students. Maybe you'll turn out to have enough people to form a book club, or a anime watch party or other social gathering. What are your favorite things to do?

I'm always online! Even right now, I like to study and read, play videogames, tabletop games are fun to imagine living in other worlds and learning to interact with someone on a level that normal socializing doesn't let you. Im not much of a fan of anime, I prefer the much more sophisticated stuff like imports from america. 「My Life as a Teenage Robot」 is my favorite!
