[18:59] Now that he was ready, Renly reached for Asena's Love and slung it over his back.

"Alright, Parsley and Vaeri, I'll let you put this thing on." He declared, taking out a small piece of paper from his pocket.

It looked to be a giant sticker you'd put on your skateboard, but was actually a mark of holy magic. Meant to dampen and cleanse the mark that trapped whatever was underneath in there..

Or, perhaps it was meant to keep them out of it.

"Both of you should just feel what you feel holding the the mark, and then stick it on and try to emulate what you feel and channel into it." He nodded.

He was sure that if he wanted to, he could easily undo the curse mark at this point himself. It was best to let them have a chance to try and work with it instead.

[19:04] She looked the mark over a bit, inspecting it on either side as Renly gave instructions.. It would essentially be casting Holy magic without being a Holy Magi, wouldn't it? It seemed that way at least. "Right.."

All that flowed through her thoughts was her desire to bring light into the world, and to pierce the shadows that threatened to overshadow them all. The mark glowing brighter as such feelings were thus channeled, the Teraphim slapping it down upon the evil marking with hopes her contribution would be of help.

Then she waits.

[19:06] Stickers, then!

Anything that made someone feel better from the occultic ooze that came from that mark. Glancing it over a few times, she begins to draw in a careful breath as she channels some better feeling-- wanting to will this awful sensation away and more.

It takes a surprising amount of energy to do so, but that's just the way life goes. She would have to keep channeling back through it, but it was a good emulation for what she was pursuing at this point.

Peeling the stickertine patch free, she comes to a crouch and aims to splat the sticker against the mark along with Vaeri's.

[19:06] {Item} You drop Jerky.
[19:16] {NARRATION} With the holy seals and stickers applied, the occultism and darkness that manifested around this strange and mysterious fireplace slowly dissipates. For a moment, everything seems like it will be fine. The evil was defeated, the heroes prevailed!

And with a loud THWONK! noise that sounded like something shooting out of a tube, a small cube slid across the floor as it emerged from the spot where the occultic mark had lingered.

Its sides were colorful and ornate, multicolored and elementary in artistic design.

It sat there, a crank on the side being the only thing of note, along with some odd hinges on the edge of the top face.

*** The event was really long, and there was nothing really more 'relevant' until the end, so it's been mostly cut.

[23:02] ** Belluh has inflicted an injury upon Renly. ("Minor Deafness", "An explosion following the failed Four-In-A-Row game has caused Renly minor deafness. It's not full deafness, but more like really annoying tinnitus that is constantly there. It can be treated. Probably.", "Temporary", "Duration: Long (12 days)") **
[23:03] As he licked his wounds from the explosions, coping with the fact that Parsley could never play a board game for her life, either, though it was true that none of them could... Things slowly began to click to him, almost..

A forest being burned to smithereens. A Teraphim faced with the crown.. A pirate faced with their own worst fear; drowning. A friend he no longer visited's worth being questioned...

It was the game of fear. But the worst fear came next, didn't it? The door, crusty and chipped, far worse than the others...

Dark tendrils, ichor, something all to familiar and all too scary for him.. It was like facing his most recent past.

"..I know you," he declared, pausing. "The only thing I want to know is how you knew to find me here. Before we even met.."

He took Asena's Love, once more, from his back. His hand reaches out into the air and pulls forth, from the ether itself, an arrow of light and crystal, intermingled in a display of true balance into one into the drawstring. He speaks, loudly, talking over anyone else trying to have their moment. He could not hear them. He was now effectively deaf from the explosions.

"I guess since we never got a true goodbye, this is the real one, then, hm? There's a reason why I haven't seen you at all this entire time, taunting me and saying nothing in the corner of my eyes, like you've been doing for weeks!. You've been here this whole time beneath a new mask!

Hellebore!

… Or should I say, Hellebelluh!"

His arrows multiply, shattering as it leaves the bow toward Belluh into a rain of light and sapphire crystals.

Even if it wasn't real, even if it was just their strange, twisted nightmare world, his own light in the darkness quivered and shook as did his fingers, and his bones... But yet, the Greycloak advanced.

[23:12] {NARRATION} "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED TO SEE, RENLY? DID YOU WANT ME TO SUFFER?"

Vex's voice screams out from the monster.
[23:12] Cassius Gracia says, "Good-...luck with that."
[23:12] Parsley exclaims, "...?!"
[23:12] Renly says, "..."
[23:12] Sèitheach hides behind Parsley.

[23:14] {NARRATION} Cassius Gracia has been defeated by Belluh! They're unable to continue fighting.

Belluh has been defeated by Vaeri! They're unable to continue fighting. (Vaeri can pass the kill if she'd like.)
[23:24] As the voice screams out from the blob of ichor, Hellebelluh, he doesn't know what to say..

He knows what to do. He shuts his eye and wipes a single tear from it.

"I knew it was you.. Hellebore. Vex.."

His first friend, or at least, what he thought could have been his first friend. It was someone he always wanted to heal, rather than hurt, as he proceeded to dodge in and out of the fight. If it was him that she wanted, he would let her trip and fall on everyone first, while keeping them all up with his holy magic...

.. Except Cassius, unfortunately. Something about Renly grows somber as he fights, and once the monster is stopped, he'd step forward.

"Of course I didn't want you to suffer. I wanted to help you, and all you did was.. hurt.. me..."

Something about everything else fades away for him as he continues on. "..I can save you. I can heal you. I promise you."

He kneeled before Belluh,staring at her for a few moments before greeting her a smile.

"..Become human for one single moment, before passing into the next life. Bring balance back to the world for all of the people you've hurt. Goodbye.. my old friend."

He reached forward to put a hand to her forehead, holy energies pulsating from his form as it enshrouded him in an aura that aimed to banish the occult. To banish- and leave the spirit- untainted and uncorrupted- before it would pass on.

.. and if that didn't work, in his other hand was a dazzling golden arrow that pulsated with the same light, ready to strike the creature in the heart if he had to.

[23:25] {NARRATION} As Renly approached with some sort of sympathy for his old friend, Belluh played into it. She could have easily convinced him that she might have actually been Vex, but the holy energies ignited, and the strange girl could no longer fake it.

With a shrill screeching and a blast of Renly's holy magic, the manifstation of Hellebelluh was really no match for the squad that had pushed through the 'carnival' games.

And with her demise, the nightmare was broken,

One by one the kids woke back up on the floor of Renly's treehouse, and though what had happened was certainly something conjured up in some collective imagination, their injuries persisted, each and every one that they felt was all too real.

Everything was set back in place as they had left it, save for a mask that now rested in the middle of the group, a dingy wooden thing that at first glance held little value, but upon closer inspection certainly had some weight to it.

After a beat, a familiar THONK! sounded from the fire place and a plush doll rolled across the floor until it hit Renly's leg. It was a small clown doll of some kind with a note attached to it that read:
