Merely increasing your density will never allow you to acquire such a form of durability. At the same time, you acted as if increasing durability would increase his resistance to heat. And no, no it wouldn’t. Or maybe it could, but after the level you took it too, it no longer does so.

It’s no longer an instant movement, although it can be exceptionally fast. Otherwise it’s theoretically possible to kill anyone and anything with how it’s used in roleplay. For this, you’ll have to actually change that in your doc. Right now it says the objects and lines are formed instantly.

  22. kentaro said himself that he had mere minutes before he was completely useless after using crackdown and that he was going to be absolutely SLUMPED soon. i wrote in the doc that the drawback activates when active quirk use ends, or when the timer runs out -- and he was purposefully pushing himself by staying in Crackdown so that he wouldn't collapse *immediately* (because he would be damned if he was gonna fall unconscious atop a __collapsing building__)

  24. the density-temperature thing i get, but really i was just working off of "oh he becomes super tough" + quirk logic. like, bakugo's explosions would blow apart his body, but they don't -- OFA storing 'energy' that makes you superhuman doesn't make sense practically -- tooru would be completely blind because her eyes are invisible -- that sort of shit, i just thought he becomes really durable in all regards because "lol he become super dense like black hole >:V". i thought i had come up with a cool solution to help protect everybody else's characters from what i thought was going to be a straight up TPK because i didn't think there was any other option to avoid everyone getting cut in half/melted/whateverthefuck else he had up his sleeve

[2022 Sep 28 22:58:52] Arclight#9805 (568915788183109632): as for the material that tetsuo uses, i never really saw it as indestructible nor did i ever intend for it to be used/seen that way; it's just that he uses it in ways/structures that were hard to break, or just used it in the elastic form that naturally resists/bounces away a lot of attacks. it's about as strong as high quality granite and can be broken with sufficient physical force/concentrated attacks

  27. also kentaro isn't invincible he's just crazy durable while at 100%. as i state in the doc, he's as strong as *graphene*, not completely invincible, and can still be damaged by equally heavy-hitting enemies -- and even at higher durabilities, he can still be damaged by stuff that had significant impact (like when he got sniped in the shin at 75%)

And while I think it’s cool that you shut down Lazergaze (I accepted this defeat btw). You said that nothing happened to Kentaro’s hand which was a step too far. And such a thing is a step too far simply because it happened in an event where EVRERYONE (or significantly more people) were paying attention to this attack, almost canonising crackdown as a god-like ability that makes him invulnerable to all damage

  49. - Tetsuo’s points can’t link through organic matter/“living” creatures, and will instead find paths around them, and Tetsuo’s points can only link through materials that are roughly equivalent to the barrier’s strength (i.e. the stone-strength barriers can only link through stone, but not metal)

  51. - Tetsuo’s points link at the speed of a 9mm bullet (1500ft/s), rather than instantaneously. As his barriers change in strength their speed will also vary (the stronger it gets the slower it’ll be, with him needing to do repeated and intensive training over irl months for them to improve back to that speed)

  53. - Kentaro gets explicit heat benchmarks depending on the percentage of Crackdown so there’s no ambiguity in future (and I will retcon that his arm is significantly scarred by Lazergaze, taking on a milky color pattern similar to that of a phantom galaxy, because I should’ve done that in the first place anyways)
