  1. This is being made somewhat in response to Exarion's frustrations with the current Mt Moon strategy and with using IT. I was originally trying to refine this shitty strat: https://pastebin.com/vzt1Ueha. However L24 for starmie doesn't seem that great albeit not as bad as before manip (but still bad). You don't outspeed Starmie and Thrash does 26-31 44.07-52.54% (crit: 44-52 74.58-88.14%) (Overall 2-hit Kill%: 41.1931%). So that's not great and it still doesn't seem worth considering at present. YW tecul.
  2.
  3. Anyway, I modified the strat I was trying to fix and it seems that there are possibly more options for Mt. Moon than I thought (list on bottom). I like the idea of fighting the route 3 lass to mitigate issues with skipping nerd and paras kills in moon (rng manip issues and execution cost). Additionally the route 3 Lass seems to enable Moon center skip and eliminate the need to use 2 manips in moon.
  4.
  5. Regarding this strat...
  6.
  7. Instead of fighting the moon nerd and centering, this strat fights the route 3 lass and skips the center instead. The normal route catches and kills a Paras, this strat does the same but with ONE manip instead of two. Rocket with L16 Nidoking is really nice and mega punch goes in. Bridge is more or less the same until route 25. At this point the original strat revolved around being L24 for starmie but fuck that noise. So instead you fight TOP hiker, 2nd bottom hiker (L23 after), and candy to L24. From here you can fight an optional trainer, fight the lass, and then exp is basically back on track. Alternatively you could fight top hiker, 2nd bottom hiker (L23 after), and candy to L24, early dig rocket after bill, L40 after muk.
  8.
  9. So basically this is moon center skip, one moon manip, way better moon rocket, thrash lass before bill, fight a 2 turn optional trainer.
