It helped that these Eternals were already dead, that they were perversions of the great warriors of Amonkhet, forced to serve Bolas through Liliana. He felt he was doing them a favor by ending their un-lives. Yet still, in the back of his mind, he knew he wasn’t releasing their souls. If they still had souls, it was not unlikely he was feeding them to the sword.
