  1. Edrei: There was panting, heavy breathing in the night. The sound of paws rapidly padding against the ground. The moon was full and the air was still all save this lone hunter. However, the hunter was not aware it wasn't the one on the prowl. In one of the trees, he sat, body covered in cloth and leather doing his best to keep his scent from spreading. "Just a bit more..." And when the beast finally padded close enough, he threw a knife, cutting the rope of a trap overhead. The beast was caught and howled loudly, thrashing at the bars of the cage trying to escape. With that he slid down the tree, blade drawn as hunters came up from holes in the ground, leaf covered trap doors being thrown aside. "And that gentlemen is how you trap a werewolf." He bowed to the applause, many of the guards cheered till the beast slammed itself against the side of the cage. "Relax gentlemen. Cold steel, bolted with silver. He could not break out of that if he tried." The scent of honeysuckle could be smelt for miles. Snow fur along the lean creature. Prowling towards the commotion, canting its mow in the right direction. A gentle look overtook her figure. Frozen ocean optics that peered at the hunters. What were they doing with lycan, her kind? Keep it on display? Teach others how to toy with them? What was this human's motive? Only time might tell. Snarling underneath her breath, and crouching down so she might blend in with her surroundings. She shook her bulbous skull, when she heard all the talk about how they had been catching lycans for years. That was the sad truth abut our species. We were always on the run to keep safe. Watching the onyx furred creature, sitting with its muzzle in the air, looking as if it was going to howl. Shortly, the hunter slammed the cage making her flinch even at a great distance. Don't you dare howl!" Sighing to herself as she kept her distance from the mortals and the other wolf, at least till it was time for her line of attack. Using her telepathy to speak to the other wolf, "Hold on, I'll get you out of there." Her voice being soft and reassuring. The she-wolf began to crawl a tad closer but also lurked towards the darkness. Trying her hardest to not be caught. Locking her gaze with the others, light emerald ones. There was something about this wolf seemed familiar. Once hearing the wolf was being sold for two bags of gold, it angered the young wolf. Though when the other wolf pace around, her optics widened at the sight. "Shadow!" Edrei called out. Soon realizing she spoke out, though it was still only through telepathy between her and the other, it brought her at ease. This was going to be tricky getting past everyone to gather her friend. Hell what did she get herself into? After but a few moments, Edrei had to get him out of there and fast. Shadow perked up his ears at the shouting within his head due to the connection. "Red get out of here! Its not safe, go, run now!" Taking a risk and ran towards him, to humans it would seem like barking at each other but to the wolves, it would be totally different. "No I'm not leaving you. I can't loose you, not again." The younger she-wolf tried to stand up against the cold metal cage, but was kicked off by one of the hunters. Yelping in pain, landing on her back before rolling onto her side. Watching him be carried off in the cage by three hunters, tears rolled down her cheeks. "SHADOW!!!!!!!"

  3. Screaming into the air, before opening her gaze. Panting heavily and looked around the forest. Looking down for a moment to see she was in the middle of nowhere. Resting her head in her fragile hand, she would shake her head. "It's only a dream Edrei.... Shadow died a long time ago.... He is no more..." Taking only a step, she would fall down the tree on her rear. Yipping to herself and rubbed her butt of the grass along with the tenderness she felt. Sighing to herself once more before shaking her form. Upon her flesh was a ripped tank top that was turned into a crop top, crimson life scattered along her skin. It was due to all the fight with hunters but she hadn't seen them for miles. Not since two states ago. Shorts that went to mid-thigh but covered her ass fully. Fiery crimson strands laid against her shoulders but shortly were tied into a ponytail. Not having any shoes as she saw no need for them. She would have to see if there was shelter nearby, one with food and nice people. Oh, man, a nice warm shower would have been nice for her. Letting her honeysuckle scent flare around, she would lift her nose to take in any other scents around, if there were any. Catching two, Edrei's head canted to the right. "Let the journey begin then." She'd whisper to herself and head in the direction of the scents. [E]

  6. Luther: A lighter flicked a flame to life in the darkness. The sun had long since settled and the cool void of the night had taken its place. Alone stood a figure in the dark, a rugged face of a man barely visible by the flame that illuminated a beacon in the sea of darkness. The wind howled as it rushed by, the soft scent of the Canadian rockies filled the air. His dark eyes came to a close, taking in a deep breath in silence. He seemed at peace, calm, still, one with the silence around him. The howl of the wind whipped by again, rustling his coat and hair gently. His gaze began to open as slowly as he had closed it, black beady eyes focused upon the flame for a moment, relishing in it’s glow before he began to descend down towards the ground. Flames licked to life as the man put it towards kindling, starting a small fire in a hand made stone firepit that was at his feet. As the fire grew in size, eating away at the broken branches and sticks piled above it, the surroundings illuminated further. Finally the mysterious man was fully visible, basking in the light of the fire. He looked far older than he actually was, a scruffy beard and wild hair didn’t aid him in keeping a youthful appearance. His clothing was rugged and clearly worn from his travels. Hints of tattoo’s and various custom jewelry lined his wrists and around his neck. Heavy boots planted into the dirt, kneeling as he watched the fire. His jacket was thick, a bright fur lined the collar peak for added warmth. It actually looked a bit oversized if anything. The wind howled once more, the scent of the burning wood slowly wafting through the tree lines around him. Once more the man’s eyes came to a soft close. He was in heaven again, silence his paradise until.. A twig snapped suddenly, interrupting the quiet ambiance of the moment, bushes rustled and soon steps followed behind the man. “Luther! Come quick, we spotted someone! Marie spotted someone!” A young boy probably in his late teens stood a few yards away from the kneeling man, Luther. Yes, that was his name, how could he forget? He took another slow deep inhale of the cool winter air before opening his eyes once more. “Joy..” Luther said with the most unenthusiastic of tones. A glance was given to the fire once more, for a second the flames appeared to stand still as an inner hope that the boy would just go away came over him, but once more the silence was interrupted and the flames snapped back to life in an instant. “Luther! Come on, we gotta go!” The boy said once more before rushing back into the forest behind Luther. The calm expression that once plastered Luther’s face was now shifting towards a menacing scowl. He hated being interrupted, he wanted peace, quiet, calm.. And yet he never seemed to be able to get it. He rose to a stand, dusting his knee for a moment before turning around. He knew someone was in the forest with them, he could smell them in the winter wind, but he had zero desire to seek them out. Often hikers or various animals would trek through their territory but leave shortly after. He never seemed to need to do much else. Luther began to follow the boy with a confident stride, brushing past the shrubs and entering the darkness while leaving the glowing fire behind him. Each step quickened his pace, pushing him further and further towards the kids that interrupted him. “Luther! Quick Look! There she is!” The boy said the moment Luther arrived to meet them upon an edge of a fall. He planted his hand against the tree and gazed out. A young girl around the same age as the boy was squatted down next to him. Both of them wore similar rugged clothing as Luther, but they had much more layers to combat the cold. “I spotted her twenty minutes ago, I think she’s not moving.” Luther’s gaze was focused upon the girl who was now laying face down on the forest floor, there was a harsh chill tonight that left a light frost on most things. It was the Canadian Rockies after all. “Stay here, I’ll check it out.” Luther said in his deep voice, moving swiftly from the tree. “Luther I want to co--” The boy started. “No.” Luther cut him off while departing. The boy looked unhappy, pouting even as he remained next to the girl. “It’s okay Alex, it’s better if Luther goes to check it out by himself. We would just get in his way..” The female said softly to the boy. “I know.. But it’s not fair.. He never lets me tag along.” The girl smiled at the boy before pointing at Luther who was now down the hillside and approaching the fallen girl. “Look there he is!” She said a happy tone. Luther’s heavy boots planted to the forest floor with each step, his long coat sometimes snagging on small twigs and bushes but breaking them off with the force of his momentum. His hands slipped into his pockets while another gust of wind howled through the forest. He approached the girl with a bit of speed at first, but the closer he got the stronger the scent from her was getting. Boots trekked to a halt suddenly as he stood a mere five feet from her. His dark gaze stared down at the female who laid face down. Who was she? She didn’t smell human. Was she another one of his kind? He took a step closer, then another before kneeling down before her. His hand slipped from his pocket and touched her exposed arm. Cold. She must have been out here for a long while. Luther sniffed at the air again, glancing about. Alone. No others nearby. Was she lost? It didn’t matter anyway. Luther did what he always did and began to scoop her up and position her upon his back. He began to carry her back towards the other two. “Look! He picked her up! What’s he doing? Is she dead? He’s coming this way!” The boy said frantically. “Luther!” The girl called out as the two got up from their spot and rushed towards the hill side where Luther originally descended from. He was already back up the ridge and walking towards them. “Is she dead? Who is she?” The boy asked as he came to a halt and started to walk alongside Luther as he paced. “Can we keep her? Where did she come from?” The girl now asked, doing the same as the boy but on Luther’s other side. “Enough with the questions. I’m taking her back to the cave for now, we’ll get answers after she wakes up.” He finally said to silence the two energetic teenagers, both of whom didn’t seem content in his response. The journey back to the cave was a half hour walk, Luther didn’t seem to get impacted by the girls added weight to his back at all. As they approached the cave a light was glowing from within and pouring out into the darkness. The teens rushed past Luther and ran into the cave frantically calling someone. “Sara! Sara! We found someone!” They both stated out loud like twins to an older woman who was within the main circle of the cave. She looked to be in her late 30’s or perhaps early 40’s. Her attire was similar to the others, tattered and rugged. A fire was glowing in the center of the space as Luther came in with the girl. “What are you two going on ab-- oh my god, Luther. Who is she?” Sara exclaimed as she rushed over to help him get her down from his back. “Not sure, we found her passed out on the forest floor.” Luther said before tilting his head to the younger female and giving her a wink of confidence. “Oh the poor thing.. She’s stone cold! Help me get her to the fire.” Luther assisted Sara, carrying the female and laying her down upon a makeshift pad beside the fire pit. The flames glimmered upon her skin, while the heat radiated over her. “She’s going to need some food and water when she gets up.” Sara stated softly. ‘Oh! I’ll go! I can fetch some fresh water!” The boy stated eagerly. Luther glanced at him. “Fine, but stick to the routes I taught you and head straight back. It’s too dark out there.” Luther warned the boy with a stern look as he began to take off his coat and lay it against a wood chair. “I know I know!” The boy grabbed a bucket and rushed off into the night. “Wait! I’ll go with you!” The girl rushed after him, Luther looking worried for a moment. “They will be fine Luther.” Sara said softly, noticing the slight worry in his face. Luther sighed, taking another chair and flipping it around to straddle and lean against the back portion. “I know.. “ Sara smiled at him, handing a mug to him. “You should get some rest too.” She said. “Nah, I’ll be fine. I’d rather be awake when she wakes up.” Luther said softly, taking a drink from the mug while keeping a cautious gaze upon the sleeping girl.

  8. Edrei: After passing out from exhaustion along with lack of food and water, she felt her body being moved though only subconsciously. It had been some time since she slept and the fact that she finally got sleep, it was good for her. Though once she opened her eyes to see she was in a cave with people she didn't know, her primal instincts kicked into high gear. Backing up a little but soon stopped as she felt the heat behind her back. Moving forward a little and eyed them all with caution, "Where am I and who the hell are all of you?" Realizing there were two children that were twins, her eyes softened. Unsure of how old they both were but she sat up with her hands in her lap, showing the two little ones she was not a threat. "I'm sorry little ones, I should really watch my language." She began again. The red head gave a gentle smile to the twins. "My name is Edrei. I'm not sure where I am. Last I remember I was just barely crossing the border of Canada. I traveled a long ways and was trying to find somewhere for food along with water." Hearing the crackling of a fire, she continued to keep near the heat to warm up due to being out in the cold for so long. Clinging to it a bit and huffed in bliss. Oh how she loved warmth again. Bringing her light emerald hues peer up at the two other adults to see a man and a women. Yet again she was confused that they were all staring at her like she was to be untrusted. Sighing to herself, the women's eyes looked away towards the flame. "I understand that you all don't trust me. I am a stranger to all of you. I do swear that I won't be of harm. I could never hurt pups let alone an entire family such as yours. I rather protect then fight. I will really only fight when I need to." Having her bag next to her with the same clothes she had on before, even though they were dirty from all the travel. Her stomach very abruptly started to growl loudly causing her to groan softly to herself while holding the flesh tightly. Great vulnerability. A wonderful way for her to feel powerless. The she wolf was starting to lift her frame off the floor before feeling light headed due to not having any energy since she hadn't ate in some time other then very occasionally finding a rabbit here and there. Nothing really heavy or filling.

  10. Luther: A good amount of time had passed since Luther brought the unconscious girl back with the others. The two teens had also returned with fresh water. “She still hasn’t woken up?” Marie said softly as she knelt near the girl. “Leave her be, Marie.” Luther said with a bit of command in his tone. He was still sitting on his chair, facing the back while leaning upon it. Legs spread on either side, a cup in his hand. “Sorry.. I did--” Marie started to explain. “It’s alright, it’s best we just let her rest.” Luther said softly again. “Ya, you girls do sleep a lot!” Alex suddenly quipped, giving the water to Sara. “Oh hush now.” Sara retorted to Alex while Marie gave him a snarky look. They really did look like some family. “Have we any word from the doc?” Luther suddenly said to Sara, glancing up at her and watching her pour the buckets of water the teens brought into the barrels. “No, unfortunately I don’t think he’ll be back for at least another day.” Sara said, her back to him while working. Luther nodded in silence for a moment while shifting his gaze back to the girl. “Hey Luther, when can we go hunting again?” Alex began, walking over to the seated male. “In a few days.” He said softly, glancing at the boy. “Did you stick to the routes I told you about?” Luther asked. Alex nodded his head and put a fist to his chest, glancing up with a smug smile. “Of course!” Luther smirked. “Good, get some rest for now, it’s going to be pretty chilly tonight.” He raised the cup to his lips, finishing the cup as Alex walked away and settled on one of the makeshift beds, Marie had also done the same. Suddenly the girl began to shift, Luther’s gaze moving back to her instantly. She started to speak and instantly everyone was on alert. Alex and Marie shot up from their beds but stood behind Luther. Sara clung to a towel, standing near the makeshift kitchen area. Luther himself didn’t move, watching her. “Hey! Who are you calling little! I’m 18 you know!” Alex snorted after Edrei made her comment, Marie crossed her arms and did the same. Luther still remained quiet, loosely holding the cup while watching her. “We found you out in the forest dear.” Sara suddenly spoke up, moving out from around the kitchen to get just a little closer. “Ya we thought you were dead.” Alex retorted, causing Marie to hit him on the arm. “Shut up stupid.” She hissed at him, Alex hit her back. “You shut up!” Alex quickly responded. “Cut it out you two..” Sara told them both with a stern glance, causing them to be quiet and keep to themselves. Still Luther remained quiet. He listened to her decree of not being of any harm to anyone and it wasn’t until the sounds of her stomach filled the silent air that Luther began to move. Still having never spoken a word, he pushed himself to a stand and walked around it. The air was tense.. The others watched Luther in wonder of what he was going to do. After all he was the only one who hadn’t said a thing. “Can she stay with us Luther?” Marie suddenly squeaked out excitedly. “Edrei? That’s a beautiful name.” Sara said softly while Luther passed her into the kitchen. “Are you one of us?” Alex suddenly asked Edrei. “Alex! That’s not polite. I’m sorry dear, please excuse Alex. He’s got no manner.” Sara said softly. Luther approached Edrei now with a plate and a cooked piece of meat upon it. He squatted down and held the plate out to her. “Don’t get up. Just eat for now, we can talk later.” Once he handed her the food, Luther stood up, glancing at the two teens. “You two, off to your rooms for now. Go on.” Luther said as they whined a bit. “But Luth--” Marie tried to whine. “Now.” Luther said with a commanding tone. “I think I'll be turning in as well, sleep well.” Sara said softly. “I’ll keep watch, sleep well.” Luther said to Sara as she passed by and disappeared into a hallway tunnel like the two teenagers. Left in the main cave was Edrei who sat by the fire and Luther who now retook his seat in the same reverse straddling manner. He had a fresh pour in his mug. He took a few sips in silence, making the air rather awkward and tense before finally interrupting it. “So Edrei, Who are you exactly?” His tone was calm, smooth, his voice deep and his gaze steady. He had yet to introduce himself, but he seemed highly cautious of her. His expression and overall vibe gave off the hints of an intelligent man, a calculative man. With the silence that now resonated in the cave, his words carried more weight. Gone was the clutter of all the others voices.

  12. Leilah: Cold oh so cold, not a huge fan of the cold... but Boo was absolutely enjoying himself. Jumping around in the snow like he had no care in the world. The large black cat making holes in the snow wherever he landed, a soft giggle from Leilah as she watched him. It would be drawn up as a comic when she had the free time, currently lost in the woods after a hike. Luckily she had enough supplies for a week or so out in the wild.. she could survive longer if needed. Definitely didn't know which way was which, coming down from a mountain after the days journey, a small rest near a half frozen creek. It was quiet, Boo was hunting birds or something. Leilah had found a set on a rock, her sketchbook out on her lap as she started her sketches of Boo jumping through the snow. Her bright red hair was in a messy bun and her rainbow colored scarf wrapped around her neck keeping her warm, a soft blue and green hoodie with her skinny jeans and knee-high boots to finish off the outfit. Layers helped to keep her warm, for the most part. Her hands were ice, but she wanted to rest a bit and draw. Only half the comic was finished when she packed up, she had to get going before it got too dark, chewing on some jerky before making sure Boo was following. Whenever he got tired Leilah would put him in her bag, carrying him as she searched the area... She hadn't seen a town in a few days, just mountains and forest.. I'm so lost... this sucks.. Using her nose wouldn't do her much good now, way too far from anyone.. maybe she could find a cave to hide out in for a while, get out of the cold wild. The sun had fallen so quickly she honestly hadn't paid much attention, mostly just trying to get out of the frigid wind, which had blown her scent all over the place, might have smelt like a marijuana farm... The pitch blackness wasn't exactly easy to navigate... but she managed for the most part, luckily she spotted a cave before it got too dark.. and then later noticing the glow, is that a fire? Her hand brushing the rocky surfaced of the mountain as she stepped towards the cave, cautious and probably trembling, Boo at her heels, "Hello?" A soft voice called, mostly curious as to who else was out here in the cold.
  13.
  14. Edrei: When the twins huffed that they were both eighteen, she giggled a little bit. "Comparably speaking, that is still a little one. When I say that though, it's not to belittle you. Just means you are younger then I. Nothing harmful." She explained. Watching them fold their arms over their chest in a huff, she shook her head with a smirk. Children. As the female adult explained that she was out in the forest when she was found, she was about to speak up when the same boy quickly added that they thought she was dead. "Well as you can see I am among the living." She teased. As the two teenaged bickered just like little children all do, she giggled all the more. Oh she missed being around children. In her previous pack she always use to take care of them, as well as aid the wounded. Observing that the older male kept silent and watched her carefully, she went to say something but was silenced when he began to raise from his seat to grab something. Was he thinking she was still a threat even though she told them that she wasn't? It would be understandable however, they would see over time. When the young girl asked she was guessing the older gentlemen by the name of Luther if she could stay, her own lips curled into a smile. Perhaps it wouldn't be all that bad if she stayed. Granted they were in a cave but she has been in worse situations. Especially when she first became a wolf with all the others. Unfortunately, she was bit by a lycan during a testing experiment for the military. Wishing to create the supreme super solider. Luckily she survived but she had been started in the desert by herself for several weeks. The red head had fortunately survived by not without the power of will. Being jerked out of her thoughts when the lady said she had a beautiful name. "Thank you kindly." Turning to the young boy when his voice spoke up asking if she was one of them, Edrei's light emerald hues soon started to glow brightly. Letting the boy feel her energy and let her honeysuckle scent linger out. Nodding in reply with a smile to the boy that was named Alex. When the older lady excused him that he had no manners, she shook her head with a deepened giggle. "It's alright. He's just curious is all." Fixing her gaze to where it was calm and not going anymore just in time for Luther to be right in front of her in a squatting position with a plate full of food. Gently taking the plate and started eat what was on the plate, the she wolf observed as two children were told to go to their rooms. Of course she took note that the little girl protested about it. Before they and the older lady had left, she spoke up with yet another smile. "It's alright. We will talk again later. Luther and I need to have a heart to heart chat is all. Don't worry you're little heads, okay?" Once they had all left leaving Luther and her by themselves, she continued eating. Silence had filled the room for a little while until the man finally broke the silence with who was she exactly; a sigh filled her throat. "My name is Edrei McCain. I am a lycan. I was chosen for a military experiment to be bitten by a lycan and used to be a solider. I was starved for several weeks but by sure will power, lived. My comrades survived too but sadly have disappeared over the years." She began. Stopping her words, she lifted her frame up to her feet and took a sniff of the air. Noticing that there was a feline with another creature. The ginger could tell that it was a female by the call out. Canting her head to the right as she felt their presences drawing closer. Once they were near enough to see, she folded her own arms over her chest. "Hello? Are you lost, young lady?" Edrei returned. Though this time, her natural French accent came spilling out. Holding almost a military stance, making sure to hold her ground. Unsure to trust the new comer, or Luther yet. She had hoped they could be trusted but she had been fooled in the past.
  15.
  16. Luther: Nothing but silence came from Luther after he had asked his questions. The rugged man simply sipped upon his mug while listening to Edrei explain her situation, her past. His expression was clearly one who was in deep thought processing the information she provided. The wind blew another powerful gust as a faint scent of something lingered in the air. Luther caught on to it instantly, but there was no indication that something was wrong. He didn’t move, he didn’t flinch for a minute while still listening to Edrei. Someone was nearby, he could smell it. His left hand rose up to his chin, idly itching at his beard for a moment as the scent got stronger. Finally Luther’s gaze moved towards the cave entrance just moments before a female's voice echoed in. Edrei seemed to get into high alert immediately, the girl approaching to peak her head in. Luther still didn’t move from his chair, slowly raising the mug back up to his lips and taking another sip. As he finished the liquid, the mug began to lower back to rest against the headrest of the chair, his gaze rising to now meet the new red head who was at his doorstep. Staring at her from across the cave hallway, his gaze pierced. “Who the hell are you?” His tone was harsh, cold, and very untrusting. Not only did he have one red head that he still had to feel out, but now there were two of them. He suddenly pushed off the chair to stand, tossing the cup aside while beginning to walk past Edrei and towards the new girl. He knew Edrei wouldn’t be a threat, she seemed much more meek after realizing there were others here, but this new girl? He had no clue. He could smell something coming from her. Midnight hues began to darken as he approached her, his form seeming to tower a bit. “I won’t ask again, who the hell are you?” His tone kept that same commanding and deathly tone, a light red tint was beginning to swell within his visage. He hated unexpected guests.
  17.
  18. Leilah: Boo was actually the first to be seen, he was the brave one here. Leilah however assessed the layout for a moment, bright blue eyes fixed on the woman as she was the first she noticed.. the man seemed quiet. A soft meow came from Boo as he noticed the female, nearly ready to walk up to her but Leilah hadn't moved any further forward, remaining at the entrance on the cave. If this was someone's home she wasn't about to enter without permission...
  19.
  20. It kind of dawned on her, again she'd walked into pack lands.. Are they friendly? She pondered as she heard the woman's question, a blink as she lifted her hand to wave, "Oh um kinda.." The man's words made her flinch, the slightly relaxed posture turned straight to frightened.. ready to retreat.
  21.
  22. Boo gave a hiss before moving back to Leilah, green eyes glaring at the man, Leilah immediately pulled him up into her arms. He was a comfort, keep her from panicking too much.. Although this was a bad situation, she'd gotten lost, again, and apparently walked into someone's home. Best to retreat now, a small step back as the man got up and approached, "I-I'm sorry I'll leave now." Boo was clutched tight in her arms, hissing and growling at the man as he approached... even if Leilah made sure to keep her distance.
  23.
  24. Edrei: Once the girl stated that she was kind of lost, her hardness started to shift a little. Watching the feline his and back away from Luther towards the girl, the she wolf looked up at Luther with a growl. "She won't tell you if you give that attitude. I realize this is your home but she's lost and didn't know. So before you butcher her, give her the chance to explain and tell us her damn name. Plus there are children in the other room. You don't wish to alarm them, do you?" The French she wolf spoke boldly. Sighing after that she stepped past the male and even pressed her hand on his chest to force him to step off a little. Her inner alpha instincts kicking in. "I apologize, Luther is just being protective of people here. There are two little ones here and another lady here." She began to explain. Calmly the women gave a smile, showing reassurance that she wouldn't let harm come to her. "What is your name and what is the name of your animal? My name is Edrei." Of course she was still cautious of the other but she wasn't going to command answers when it was obvious that she was scared and confused. Turning to Luther for a moment and used her telepathy to speak to him. "I understand why you are demanding answers and I want them just as much as you do but, she's scared and confused. I am not trying to step on your toes but she is clueless what she even is right now. Please let me help you get those answers." Fixing on the girl again and her feline, she would listen to any reply she gave. Even lowered her frame to offer her hand to the feline to show she, at least, could be trusted.
  25.
  26. Luther: There was a strange rage that was swelling within Luther, the whites of his eyes were darkening and the iris’s glowed a dangerous crimson. Each step towards the new girl would make the air between them feel all that much thinner. His very presence seemed to loom larger than it was, chilling the very air. It was only natural for fear to begin setting in to the young girl, watching her cling to her cat and back up. But it was pointless, Luther still pressed on. “Leave now? There is no leaving now.” His head chanted to the side, fingernails beginning to elongate against the wall of the cave, clawing it slowly. His gaze pierced into Leilah’s. Luther couldn’t hear much else. Muffled words reached the barrier of his mind coming from Edrei. Almost as if he was being called from under the water. That familiar stillness was beginning to take over again, the flames behind him coming to a stand still as shadows no longer flickered against the wall. But everything snapped right back the moment Edrei smacked her palm to his chest, jolting him back. In an instant claws retracted and that murderous intent vanished immediately. As if sound was no longer muffled, like he had emerged from the water depths. The telepathy to his mind came after, the crimson of his eyes settling back to normal as he had halted his progress. He remained silent as Edrei talked to him and to the other girl. His right hand slipped into his pocket to shuffle around a little before withdrawing a girthy cigar, placing it between his lips. He turned from the two girls as he walked back towards the fire. “You can stay for the night, both of you. I only got one spare bed here so you’ll have to share.” Luther finally spoke, his back towards them as he stopped at the fire and removed the cigar from his lips. As he spoke, he slowly lowered the cigar and lit the end, moving it back to his mouth. His change of tone and personality was almost night and day from a moment ago. He was back to his more calm and relaxed demeanor. He moved back to his chair and spun it around this time to sit on it like normal. A leg crossed over the other while he began to casually smoke, puffing out rings into the cave. He didn’t look at the two again. A small single person bed was at the far wall behind him, keeping them in this room and away from the others for now. “Well figure out the rest in the morning.” He said suddenly, exhaling more smoke as he lounged.

  28. Leilah: Everything sort of faded out as her pounding heart took over, the thumping sound loud in her ears as she stared at the man. Absolutely terrifying.. A few nervous steps taken back as the man continued his approach, eventually being stopped by the woman.. Leilah completely silent as she stood there trembling, Boo clutched tight, thankfully he didn't mind. He might have been purring if it wasn't for the possible threat in front of his owner, loud growls could be heard. It took her a moment to register the woman was talking, just staring at the man as he retreated back into the cave. No moment to relax, she wanted to run. Clearly she'd walked onto someone else's property and she should leave, his words still ringing in her ears, there is no leave now. Oh she was definitely going to run, fear had hit a new high for the day and she didn't want to lie awake all night wondering if she was going to be killed in her sleep, nope. But at least the woman seemed nice? Weird change from the feeling of her blood running cold... at least that was now a good distance away. Being able to relax at least a small bit, not wanting to be rude to the woman. She'd introduced herself, nearly complete opposite from the petrifing words of this so called Luther. Even with that calm exterior from the woman, Leilah still kept her distance, small steps as she was planning a quick retreat. A soft smile and a wave, "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to intrude.." Her eyes finally moved from Luther's back, fixing to the woman as her brain registered the questions, "This is Boo and I'm Leilah but I won't be staying.... Thank you for the offer though.." Boo wasn't growling anymore when Luther finally walked away, a small meow as if trying to answer Edrei's question himself.

  30. Edrei: When the man said that there was no leaving now while the younger girl was frightened, the she wolf sighed before shaking her head. Taking note that she was able to bring him back, she smiled a little. The smell of a cigar entered her nose a little bit and heard the girls apologies for intruding. Perhaps this girl isnt all bad. Though when Luther offered a bed for the night for the both of them, her eyebrow raised a little bit. It was as if a light switch got flicked up to the good and calm side. Everything just changed so quick, she didn't know exactly how to answer aside from nodding at his offer. "I greatly appreciate that, Luther, thank you." As the girl chimed up and told the women her name, she smiled politely. "It's nice to meet you Leilah and Boo." However the smile faded as soon as the girl declined the offer from the man. When the man moved back to his chair as he did before to continue smoking and creating rings around, she just let him do his thing. He didn't even look back at the two of them either. So many thoughts ran her head but was jolted out of them when he explained that they could figure things out in the morning, she nodded. "I think figuring things out in the morning when everyone is well rested is a good idea." Hearing a meow come from Boo almost in a questioning manner, and realized it was probably Boo trying to say it's name, another smile rose upon her figure. Reaching out her hand towards the feline after going on bended knee, still keeping some distance; she smiled a bit wider but in a gentle way. Almost as if trying to reassure them once again.
