Hollywood

The term Hollywood comes from the the tree “Holly” which is meant to give off magical properties. Many believe the phrase was created to represent how Hollywood gives us magic with its theatrics, however, the term was coined 20 years before Hollywood actually produced any movie leaving some to wonder why it was coined in the first place.
