- At Flynn's apartment, he and his sister, Jesse, were just cleaning up the place so, they could get organized for their new year at Blackwell Academy. Jesse although going into her sophomore year of the school, did somewhat enjoy her freshman year at the place. Although there was drama and some bullying due to her brother in training to be a school security guard, she knew on how to fight back with the following words, "My brother will be a guard one day and report you and of course, I will have the evidence."
- Flynn did enjoy the training and internship at the academy as him becoming a security guard at the school. He was still going to the academy as a student and on the side, was in training to become a security guard. Although doing the work from classes and reading up on being a security guard was time consuming, he did work on a time schedule to balance the time between reading and trying to get his homework done. Luckily, during the summer, he was able to catch up on reading his book. He was seeing that his sister was fixing up some of their favorite snacks such as pretzels, Doritos, and carrot sticks. He did smile as he decided to take a break from chords and took a seat in the parlor and Jesse was bringing the snacks over and sat across from him.
- "Ah, pastime moment. You and me, just eating our favorite munchies." Jesse giggled as she was munching on a carrot stick. "Yeah, especially in the cafeteria. You and I wags brought these to the school. Even though those bitchy girls would make fun of us for eating kid snacks, but whatever." She said, with her eyes rolling. He did hate the feeling of the students making fun of them all the time because of them eating child-related snacks, but, luckily, both of them had sharp tongues.
- "Yeah, I know. Just ignore them." Flynn said, as he raised an eyebrow while eating. Jesse was glad that he, Flynn would always be on the lookout for her. While munching on some Doritos, Flynn did turn on the television and started to watch the news. On the screen, there was a news report on Rachel Amber being missing and police are still on the lookout; Flynn knew that as a trainee, had to be on the lookout did students, especially if this student was being in an unknown area and then suddenly disappeared.
- "Still not found?" Jesse asked, as she was looking at the television. He shook his head with a sigh and looked at her with a serious look. "No, still not found." He said, with a sigh, coming out of his mouth. He hoped that whenever Jesse was around the school ground, she would know on where she would be so, she would not be in the same situation as Rachel. She sighed as she felt bad for this girl and hoped that she will be able to return to her family. "As a security guard in training, I'll make sure that the cameras are on. My internship in the office is based on me trying to see if the students are found anything wrong and I have to make sure that no one from outside the campus comes." Jesse, while listening, knew that he would make a good guard. "Hey bro, I have to say, your job one day will be successful." Jesse said, as she was finishing up her snacks.
- Flynn looked up at her sister and gave her a small fist bump with a grin as he finished up his snacks as well. "Thanks, Jesse. I know that you will have another successful year. Make sure that no one picks on you." Jesse rolled her eyes with a chuckle and put her hand in his when hearing his concern. "Hey, don't worry. I can handle anyone who is nasty." She said, with a small smirk and helped out with the dishes. He was proud to have a sister who went from a tiny girl to an independent young lady. He was also glad that he was continuing to teach her right from wrong, even though he was almost near his twenties, he was glad to still raise her, although she was about to be eighteen. Jesse, in the meantime, did feel proud of her older brother for taking his internship and schoolwork seriously and had hope for the both of them to have another successful year at the academy.
