  1. Here you go. If you think I need to add anything I can probably do it.
  2.
  3. Sign up for an account at http://freedns.afraid.org/
  4. Click on subdomain on left, add a subdomain. This will be your public address. Also the ip doesn't really matter right now, the programs you download later updates it. Here in the example it will be wispy.chickenkiller.com http://i.imgur.com/yvVUqBV.png
  5. Download the client for windows/android http://freedns.afraid.org/scripts/freedns.clients.php For windows I used FreeDNS update, http://www.techknowpro.com/freedns/ just go into settings, type in your username, password and it should update, make sure you click the box. You can manually check ip if it changes or it checks automatically every 5 minutes by default. If your ip doesn't change that often, you can just run this program every once in a while. It doesnt have to be running all the time. http://i.imgur.com/LSzZ2lg.png
  6. For android, download this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.icecoldapps.dynamicdnsupdate&hl=en , dynamic dns updater by ice cold apps
  7.
  8. Get the direct update link from freedns.afraid.org http://i.imgur.com/A87vVGs.png Open android app, add, Dynamic dns updater
  9.
  10. Name: Whatever
  11. Select dynamic dns url: Update url from before
  12. Hostname: wispy.chickenkiller.com (your hostname)
  13. Username: (your username)
  14. Password: (your password)
  15. Test, press back and save. See if this is working by going on the website with one ip, switch to data on the phone, run dynamic dns update on phone, it should change your ip.
  16.
  17. I havent really used the app that often, so I don't know if there are other problems. to force it to update your ip I think you just go edit on dns, test. Server has to be stopped.
  18.
  19. For cellphone I think you have to run the app every time, for Windows you'll only have to run it if your ip changes often, etc.. dsl, different internet.
