meiro got bullied out in short, atleast the side of the account that was leaked is pretty f'd and does not paint a pretty picture. after Meiro's debut she got a complaint through her manager. A senpai complained that her accent was clashing with her character. So the demand was to cut the accent. the leak for the above has screen from nijisanji's internal main discord with all livers, staff, superiors etc Meiro got some sympathy since changing your literal birth dialect isn't that simple

leak follows into info from DMs but since they were DMs, the leak didn't present them. relevant to know. oh right also in the screen portion, Meiro says she'll do her best to speak standard from now on, but when she's nervous she has trouble with standard so it might be impossible to cut it completely importantly though, she got DM from some senpais after that, never states who but Meiro wasn't the first in niji to get similiar demands to cut accent https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHX7YpFG8rVwhsHCx34xt7w for example this girl go the same thing said to her, cut the accent. also at some point these DMs hinted to her the one making the complaints was most likely Roa. She didn't know at this point for sure tho she tried to change, but as we all know she couldn't cut it entirely and slipped a lot, especially when nervous she was constantly having exchange with management, and staff. the message was clear, change the accent

she wasn't sure at that time but it would soon get very clear to her who it was lol the timeline is hazy, but at some point Meiro got to a meeting with management, superiors and even board member discussing the situation the message there would only get rougher, cut the accent as it's clashing with Senpai's character and brand (Roa branded her accent as "Demon world dialect") failure would potentially negatively affect Meiro's chances to do collabs and sponsorships

for someone like Meiro, this all caused a lot of stress making it even harder to meet the demand after a month of this mess, Roa tweeted on her sub account, making a cryptic message about an issue that had been taking a toll on her for a month. this is when the fans and speculation got involved with Roa following literally every newbie except Meiro, it wasn't too difficult for people to pick up Around this time Roa started DMing Meiro directly instead of going through managers like she should. she even DM'd her midstream and stuff.

then Roa and Roa's managers gave Meiro an alternative (no lol). She could simply clear the character clashing by stating the real location of her accent. However, turns out "Kyushu dialect" wasn't clear enough. She'd have to specify the region in Kyushu her dialect is from. For Meiro this risked her getting doxed or otherwise found out

since this is literally demanding her to tell where she's from, where she was raised. after two months Meiro's mental health went so bad she took a 20 day break, but her exchange with the management / staff went on she was also told not to talk about any of this in the internal discord anymore "to not sow distrust towards management"

she was literally being threatened by losing all sponsorship and collabs. also, Roa said that if Meiro couldn't comply, Roa would herself quit. Management said that should Roa quit because of this, Meiro would not be allowed to do any collabs or sponsorships anymore

Meiro asked management however, if she could talk about some of this on a stream, to explain her break and maybe expel rumours She was given the ok. In her "return stream", she talked about some of this, altho never specified just that she had some issue only her manager could figure out and that it wasn't any issue with superiors or antis or anything like that

however as she didn't specify other livers, it gave ammo for speculation, people mass disliked and further speculation was running rampant even accusing meiro that her friend was an imaginary friend

one week after the stream, Meiro was told by nijisanji superiors that she infact didn't have permission to talk about it on stream. They deemed her stream a breach of contract. She is set to be terminated in this month

Meiro objected that she had permission. The superiors said she didn't have proof of that permission being given their convo wasn't recorded as it was at a meeting. It was Meiro's word against her superiors

Meiro is apparently still trying to fight this but it seems like it's going to end in her retirement also, Meiro's youtube account icon was deleted. However, Meiro currently does not have access to her accounts as she is suspended, meaning staff deleted her icon. Most likely out of pure spite as it's not something you'd do or have any reason to do.
