  1. HISTORY -
  2.
  3. Creation of the family and The First War of Blood
  4. 63 AC: King Moreman and Queen Vellaray, the founding King and Queen of Gondria, were assassinated by a group of men sent by Sarivay; to weaken Gondria from the inside. It happened on a Friday, when the gates of the Conclave of Unity were opened for all men and women to pray together with the Queen.
  5. Nayli and Bryce, the children of the King and Queen, where captured by the men of Sarivay and taken away to their keep, where they were kept in the dungeons to have their minds and body broken; to change the sweethearts of the kingdom into shells of their former selves; their end goal to return Nayli to the throne for she is the rightful heir, and hand the kingdom of Gondria to King Raykor of Sarivay.
  6. The children were presumed to be dead, killed in the same assasination as their parents.
  7. The rumors of the men of Sarivay assassinating the previous King and Queen and their children traveled through Naramir. The people were disgusted, even Arion felt a sense of respect for the beloved kingdom and family. Not long after another rumor regarding a failed assassination attempt on the child of Arion’s king followed. Scouts meanwhile reported Sarivay was building an army.
  8. A new king was chosen, named King Randall. He was an old man, a Military Commander such as the law of Gondria had ordered. The kingdom however wasn’t sure; King Randall was reluctant, colder than the previous King and Queen and uneasy at the throne. He lacked the guts to make difficult choices required to lead a kingdom.
  9. 65 AC: Eventually the siblings were allowed to leave the dungeon of the Keep for the first time, to see the first sunlight in 2 years. A knight who had troubles with King Raykor of Sarivay spotted the two strolling over the Keep’s gardens. He couldn’t believe his eyes and realized the rumors spreading through the Keep was actually true. At the cost of his own life the knight sent a -bird- to the kingdom of Gondria and the kingdom of Arion, warning them the Prince and Princess were alive, together with the rumors of the Keep and the poor state they appeared to be in.
  10. The rumor of their survival quickly spread through the entirety of Naramir. People spoke of disgrace and fury, for the Prince and Princess were mere children. Combined with the previous acts of Sarivay, the continent went out for war.
  11. 66 AC: King Randall was requested to launch war against the people of Sarivay, to join arms with the other banners and Kingdoms and strike them. At first the new king refused, uncertain and reluctant. The Right hand and Hand of treasury, together with the Landlords, convinced King Randall to arm the kingdom and join the war. Their focus was to destroy Sarivay and free the two children.
  12. Together with the army of the Landlords and the army of the other houses they stormed the capital city, Sarivay, and sacked it. During this fight King Randall, who had joined the battle on the front line, was killed by the right hand of King Raykor.
  13. The Princess and Prince were found and freed, right before the Keep went up into bright flames. They were escorted back to Gondria, under the care of the Right hand who was acting as temporary King until Nayli had recovered from her traumas.
  14. The recovery of Nayli and Bryce was slow. Nayli however had the most progression; whilst she was bitter, hurt and had to relearn how to trust, the fond memories of her family before these tragic events reminded her to recover a sense of kindness and find a source of light in the dark. Her path towards becoming the High priestess also aided greatly in her recovery, for she found comfort in the prayers to the 24 gods.
  15. Bryce, on the other hand, was overtaken by negativity, fear and trauma, and a grown hateful to Gondria after the successful “brainwashing”. No matter how many prayers he did, no matter how many times he tried to look at the positive sides, his mind was too scrambled and too far back to grasp reality.
  16. 73 AC: Nayli married Johan, Military Commander (and successor of previous Military Commander and King Randall). With this wedding Nayli and Johan also became the King and Queen of Gondria.
  17. Nayli created the family of Velmore to honor her deceased parents, King Moreman and Queen Vellaray, by combining their names and wearing them with pride. This way she would never forget the warmth and kindness of her mother, who ruled with love, and the protecting and caring yet stern nature of her father, who ruled with fairness.
  18. The tradition of Queen Vellaray continued, with a friday praying with the entire kingdom. Nayli lived through these fridays with fear, despite the Conclave of Unity improved protection and security. Yet she deemed this a small price to pay for the happiness of the kingdom.
  19. Nayli Velmore began to realize her brother was beyond saving, which became more obvious the more she recovered from her own traumas. He was more often than not drunk, shouting at the Court, abusing women and locking himself away in his room.
  20. After advising her husband and Right hand on what to do with Bryce Velmore, Nayli approached him in the Conclave of Unity without the protection of her guards (fearing the guards would scare him away), carrying nothing but a knife in her sleeve for protection. She begged for him to head to -another kingdom-, who had the most skilled -name for doctors-.
  21. Bryce fell into a fit of anger and began to assault Nayli, deeming her a betrayer for siding with Gondria and sending him away from her. The guards heard the commotion and rushed through the doors in an attempt to protect her. However, when they came near they were greeted with a bloodbath. Nayli, in order to protect herself and to end Bryce’s madness, had stabbed her brother in the chest several times.

  23. Treaty of the Sea
  24. 164 AC: King -??- sent his men to capture a ship of the Arion Kingdom after they crossed the borders of Gondria. He soon learned the ship contained the cousin of their current King -?-. Within days words traveled, and a -creaturetosendmails- had arrived to bring news; the Arion Kingdom had declared war on the house Velmore, with Gondria as his target. King -??-, commander of their military, was ready to arm their men and prepare for war. But it was the Queen’s kind words who brought the King and his men to senses: This was a war they would’ve won with ease, but countless men and women would suffer as a result. Instead, she and the Right hand suggested a treaty with the Arion Kingdom.
  25. The Queen and their Right hand, together with their court, traveled to Arion to discuss the terms of Treaty. It took them two moons to come and agree with the Treaty of the Sea, designed to give both kingdoms a profitable outcome:
  26. The men of Arion are allowed to fish in Gondria’s waters.
  27. At the end of every Spring, Arion has to pay taxes: (Amount of taxes here equal to the amount of fish they caught).
  28. The Fishermen of Arion have permission to dock at Gondria’s docking island named Miane, Fishermen’s heaven.
  29. The Fishermen are forbidden to touch the women on Miane, and are to pay for Miane’s services such as food and shelter.
  30. The prisoners, men of Arion, are to be released.
  31.
  32. With the Treaty of the Sea the Queen and her people returned back to Gondria, to command the Prison-keeper to release Arion’s men and send them back with a small boat.
