jakimfett: I appreciate your interest in supporting me, but the fact that you conveniently canceled your support the day before you would have actually contributed anything reinforces my earlier decision to not provide you with supporter rewards until *after* the first of the month. My hope is that it was coincidental, just the way things worked out for your support decisions. I don't actually think that was the case, though. Call me cynical, but when an individual (you, in this case) is all "these protections against bad people are weird, you should remove them" and then they coincidentally do exactly what I describe as my reason for leaving the protections in place...yeah, it looks like you were trying to scam me, so I'm calling it like I see it.

Volker Bruhn: I am heading on ... next modauthor to get some bucks. I wish you a good time and keep up the good work!
jakimfett: To be honest, you're the first one in...what's it been, a year? Two years? Something like that. You're the first person who had trouble with it. Nobody else has complained, and I've asked for feedback multiple times. If more people ask about it, I might change it, but like I said...so far, you're the only one, so I don't mind explaining it directly. ~ jakimfett

jakimfett: Oi, sorry for the lack of response. Life decided to beat me in the face with stuff I need to do.

Volker Bruhn: On the frontpage of your Patreon-Site, you end the message with "Higher reward tiers receive rewards from all lower tiers" ... You could add something like: "Due to recommandation of Patreon itself, higher tiers' perks will be delivered with a 30 day delay." I guess that it would be easier for me to find wording in my native language, though ;-)

jakimfett: I'm open to suggestions for wording changes on the welcome message. I'm probably going to remove Rotarycraft, it's caused some issues with a couple of other mods in the past, I re-added it to test something, but...it's probably not going to stick around long term. ~ jakimfett

Volker Bruhn: Alright ... I understand this point of view. Wouldn't have thought that people are cheaty like this ,-) Your first 'welcome'-message was mis-interpretable, then :-) Well, I have 1 month time to get aquainted with the mods, I never touched before (RotaryCraft, Necromancy ie.) Until then, Volker

jakimfett: Waiting to distribute rewards until the end of the month is actually something that Patreon recommends. I've had people pledge, grab the reward they want, and then cancel their pledges before the end of the month. After that happened a couple of times, I made a policy that unless I know someone personally before they pledge, I provide the rewards after their card is charged, not before. It's nothing to do with you personally, I assure you! ~ jakimfett

Volker Bruhn: Thanks for the response, jakimfett. Can you give me 3 good reasons for not adding me immediatly to the server's whitelist? Well, it would take me 10 minutes to set up a server with your modpack and my sons being whitelisted. Just wondering about a 27 day due to

jakimfett: Thanks, I'll be adding you to the whitelist at the end of the month. The server is indeed at minechem.jakimfett.com, it was down for a day or two due to my host going AWOL. It should be back up now. ~ jakimfett

Volker Bruhn: The server's adress: minechem.jakimfett.com is correct? Or do I need a special port? Or is it down? ;-)
