I've been in the LSPD for a long time, and I've seen many pursuits, 11-99's, you name it.. - However when it comes to SHAFT, they always show professionalism, and they're first at scene. ( Most of the times )
I admire their work, and I long for a chance to join this great agency. I certainly hope you deem me worthy of joining you, because I am not only excited, but motivated. I know I will dedicate myself 100% to S.H.A.F.T, and I know that I will take my work 100% seriously. No matter what. SHAFT is one professional, interesting, and full of hard working agents. I want to be among those agents. I want to feel proud of myself, and the work I can and will do for this agency. I am a very organized person, and I know how to perform and execute operations. I am experienced in all kinds of fields, and I believe my skills belong here.

I was doing a 10-26 once day, (Traffic stop) and had a chat with the trucker, regarding his shipment. My patrol partner mentioned that the driver looked a bit scared. I asked the trucker if he was okay, and he answered "Yes". After a while my partner insisted we'd take the guy out of the truck, and check if he was okay. We had already been there too long, so I told him to leave the trucker and come with me. 20 minutes later I heard over the department radio that a trucker had been shot in the head. The trucker had been shot by a guy hiding -inside- the truck. And it was on me. I went through some hard times, but it helped me toughen and mature. My partner never looked at me the same. I know what I did, and I know it will never happen again.

As stated above, I have been fighting crime before, and I have been told I've done the job good. I believe SHAFT is for professionals, and that if you do not mean to put all your effort in to joining you shouldn't apply at all. I believe I am ready to join the agency, and I will do everything I can not to fail it.
