  9. ITrapped
  10. Issac Hymer (better known on the internet as iTrapped) was a Roblox user who joined Roblox on November 14, 2011, he was mostly known for causing the infamous “2012 April Fools Hacking” as well as being the owner of a popular Roblox clone called “BrickPlanet”.

  13. 2012 April Fools Hacking & Termination
  14. On April 1, 2012, Ellernate, iTrapped and caleb244 had managed to gain access to the admin panel after one of them (Ellernate) used an Administrator’s username on a Roblox test site and copied it’s ROBLOSECURITY cookie onto the actual account to gain complete control over it.
  15. During the incident, Issac caused an economic crash on the platform as he was changing the prices of the hats on the avatar shop to 1 Robux. This would cause Ellernate to accuse Issac of ruining the Roblox economy but he would respond by laughing. He was also criticised for compromising some famous user’s accounts until May 4, 2012, when his Roblox account was terminated as players were catching on.
  16. BrickPlanet/BLOX City
  17. Issac has been mostly criticised for many years as he would create a Roblox clone called BrickPlanet (previously BLOX City). Many users on the platform would claim that Issac had scammed them after he would constantly reopen and shutdown BrickPlanet. Eventually in July 2019 during BrickPlanet’s third reopening, Issac would refund the money to players who spent on the site but this wouldn’t stop the criticism as users who were on BLOX City before it rebranded would demand a refund from Issac. Eventually after many shutdowns, Issac then announced that he’s no longer interested in the project and will refund everyone who has either donated to the site’s production or during the site’s run.

  32. iTrapped was known for being a hacker of the 2012 April Fools Incident by accessing the administrator panel. He was infamous for ruining the Roblox economy at the time. He accessed the admin panel with Ellernate and Caleb244.
  33. Criticism
  34. Ellernate, one of the players who accessed the admin panel accused iTrapped for going too far and destroying the Roblox economy as well as posting another thread notifying iTrapped. iTrapped did not listen to any of Ellernate's posts and continued to destroy the economy as well as compromise famous players. The community soon caught on to this and criticized iTrapped, mainly for compromising TheGamer101 during the hack.
  35. BrickPlanet
  36. In later years, iTrapped has been criticized by many people for his competitive website known as BrickPlanet. Many players claimed that iTrapped scammed them out of their money when closing BrickPlanet. He soon reopened BrickPlanet and to blatantly try to get people to spend money, by creating a halloween banner for the most expensive items on the site at the time, only to shut the site shutdown again. Due to this, many players filed a chargeback request and criticized iTrapped for potentially scamming them. The process repeated multiple times which caused suspicion from the community. Some members of the community also criticized him for running the competitive site altogether, saying it was a "rip-off" of Roblox.
  37. Finally, BrickPlanet reopened a third time in July 2019, refunding players who spent money on the BrickPlanet website but not the BloxCity website. People criticized this decision by claiming the BloxCity players were scammed. The website eventually closed down in March of 2020 and, after a long period of time, updated to say that it is returning.
  38. Termination and Legacy
  39. On May 4, 2012, iTrapped was IP banned for great involvement in the hack, compromising famous players at the time such as TheGamer101 and streetx. iTrapped also took place in destroying the website as a whole during the hack. As a result, iTrapped lost over 1,300,000 RAP (at the time) of limited items: Dominus Frigidus (which was eventually taken), Ice Crown, Sparkle Time Fedora and Darkheart. Almost 2 months after the ban, he went on an account soon known as NoDoom around July 29, 2012 on which he made a post claiming to be iTrapped himself. [citation needed] The account was later terminated. He soon went on an account known as G0dfrey around August 2014 but the account was also terminated. He also used the accounts DubstepTheory and DoctorEvidence, but both are terminated.
