  1. 12-01-2034
  2. Settlement-01 "Charlie" to Settlement-02 "Delta", Cavite
  3. Legionnaire Protectorate Jeth, Solomon's Blade Battleforce, Enochian Guards Regiment
  4. ------------
  5.
  6. "Report in, brother." At the sound of the picked up transmission, Jeth's eyes opened wide. His brown eyes scanned the surroundings; brown pupils glowed in a pulsating rhythm. He sees the artificial grass grown with the help of chemicals span on either side of him between narrow sidewalks that leads to various big houses. Trees can be seen in the middle of those grasses. It was, by far, the most convenient place than Settlement-00 "Alfa". What looks to be a hellish urban battleground was replaced by a luxurious subdivision neighborhood. The houses were not too big to be called a mansion nor was it too small to look plain. The yellow paint in each houses were a common sight; they were all two-storey houses.
  7. Tribune-Commander Protectorate Phoenix, or commonly known as simply "Jeth", walked across the clean sidewalks. A squad of six riflemen Remnant Soldiers from the Order of Saint Michael followed closely behind him. He looked up and admired the clear blue night sky. It was dark but the stars twinkled brightly and the moon shone with splendor. There are no clouds to be seen in sight. He continued his walk, spotting a group of civilians. They saw him, standing in their own porches as they celebrated a holiday. It was the Second Anniversary of the Philippines' victory over the Chinese in the naval battle of West Philippine Sea. He was there, watching the Philippine Navy destroy Chinese Ships, but many of the Filipinos died that day. He and his brothers were busy disabling ships from both sides as they protect a pendant designated as "Starfall" from the hands of Suzako and its servants. Ah, good times.
  8. Derailing his train of thoughts, he walked forward, eyeing more civilians standing beside sidewalks, porches, window balcony and tents set up in front of their houses. Clearly, these people were unaware of the battle taking place in Settlement Alfa. But he wouldn't blame them. Jeth knew that these people knows a slightest thing in order to contain panic and paranoia; a disease caused by the events prior to the upcoming Apocalypse, or to them, the Second Coming. He stood, wearing as always, his Praetorian Battle Gear with honor. He looked authoritative despite of his young appearance yet old age. He glanced to the left and caught sight of a young girl staring at him, but Jeth ignored her as he addressed a Remnant beside him.
  9. "Send transmission to Squad Bloodfire." He said as he returned his gaze back ahead. He heard the Remnant replied a faint "Yes sir," followed by a series of beeps and clicks.
  10. "Protectorate Blackshot serving under Squad Bloodfire, reporting in!" The stressed voice of Blackshot filled his ears as the transmission opened."
  11. "Give me a Sit-Rep of the operation, brother."
  12. "Dark Hounds Legion has been neutralized as well as Rock Flesh Legion. The Slipknot Darizazel was executed as well with three of its Apprentices. However, we are pinned down by 67th Glutton Swarm but we are handling them...Oh wait, scratch that. We have killed the very last Hellspawn." His tone was replaced by immediate relief.
  13. "Good, brother. Get over here. We are going to mount an attack against Wolf Riders Legion. The Strongarm Legion is assisting them too and they are protecting a trio of Hell Baron and a Duke."
  14. "That's just great, another Slipknot."
  15. "Yes. Now get over here."

  17.
  18. "How can I be of assistance, brother?" Blackshot asked, three blood covered Remnant Soldiers trailed behind him. Even with the dark color of their armor, the blood is still visible in the naked eye. What seemed to be an ordinary evening for the civilians has suddenly became an interesting one with the arrival of the Protektovares and the black-clad soldiers serving the Order of Michael.
  19. "As I said back there, two Demon Legions, three Barons which means a Cadre, and a Slipknot. Intel says that a Squadron from Tartarus Squadron was on stand-by. How do we beat them?"
  20. "You pulled me out there to ask me that?"
  21. "No, we need additional muscle...and your tactical knowledge."
  22. Blackshot grinned. "Pull up the map."
  23. The two Protectorates separated themselves from the nine other Remnant Soldiers. They faced one another; a hologramic map appeared between them, along with hologramic miniature visual representations of the enemies, and themselves.
  24. "Alright, so here's the plan. That three-storey structure is the clubhouse for the subdivision's homeowners, correct?" Blackshot asked.
  25. "Yes." Jeth confirmed.
  26. "It was held by these guys," He pointed at the two red armies in front of the yellow structure. "Wolf Riders and Strongarm." He paused. "Tartarus Squadron is not a Legion, just like the Knights, but rather, they were supposed to be Garrison Support Units. They could be inside the enemy structure along with the Slipknot. Possibly, a Hell Baron was commanding the Squadron, two more were commanding either Legions." He explained. Jeth nodded. "So get this, we will attack them with two of us in the front." Two armored figures in blue moved across the hologramic map towards the red armies. "With the Remnant Soldiers behind us, firing from a box formation. So far, the Michael Order was the best riflemen we could ever have and once used with extreme precision, we will win any battle, no doubt. We will fight our way in towards the clubhouse. And once we reached inside, we assassinate that Duke on the spot."
  27. "Your strategy is a little bit reckless." Jeth say.
  28. "Do you have any other option? Had we have more units in our hands, I could have thought of a better strategy."
  29. "Fine," Jeth said finally. "I'll put faith in your gung-ho tactics."
  30. "Affirmative, Commander." Blackshot says.
  31. "What's the first move we should take, Commander?" Jeth asked, addressing Blackshot's rank too,.
  32. "We move now."
  33. #
  34.
  35. The Clubhouse was indeed a three-storey structure that could accommodate the entire populace of the small luxurious subdivision. Jeth could see an army of Demons congregating in front of the establishment but the two Legions were divided by a gap of ten meters. The one on the left, the Strongarm Legion, was a Demon with pupiless eyes. Five horns sprout out of the crown of its head. It was wearing tattered sleeveless shirt and ragged jeans and dusted combat boots. Their right arms were replaced with a bionic implant, a spiked morning star was chained into the implant. On the right, the Wolf Riders stood at attention with gothic looking guns at hand. They wore plated black sleeveless biker's vest over their brown furred bodies. Their eyes were covered with sunglasses and their legs are covered with faded jeans. Their knees are covered with steel plates and their feet were shod with spiked biker's boots. Some of them had broken pipes on their free hands while the others had spiked knuckles. Behind these armies were two Barons. The first one was a blue skinned Demon in green o-yoroi armor and yellow straw hat, and the other, a red lamellar armor. The Demon had two small tomahawks on its hands; it was black skinned and red eyed.
  36. "Alright," Blackshot called from behind. "Fireteam Dionysus, box formation, open fire." He said as he charged at the Demon Legionnaires. His hand immediately reached for the Kinetic Rifle attached on his back. The white rifle looked pristine in his hands. It spews out 6.21 mm Empyrean rounds per second and had sharp tips on its head. It can pierce a Human tank armor within seconds and kill everyone inside it without causing much of an explosion. When the Demons in front of him turned, they roar and charged. Blackshot aimed at the nearest Strongarm Legionnaire and fired squarely at its chest, destroying its ribcage. He glanced to the right and raised his aim, sighting a forehead that belongs to a Wolf Rider. He released a couple of shots, destroying the head of the Demon like a smashed watermelon. He switched aim and fired at another Wolf Rider, clipping its neck thrice. It fell to the ground, headless.
  37. His head tingled as he sensed an incoming morning star heading towards him. He ducked and whirled behind as he opened fire at the Strongarm Legionnaire, crushing his chest open.
  38. As soon as a Wolf Rider approached near him, Blackshot slid the rifle back to his spine and switched with a dual edged sword. He raised the sword horizontally as the Wolf Rider struck him downwards with a metal pipe. Blackshot kicked the pelvis of the Demon, pushing him a few inches away. He raised his sword and sliced the Demon in half. A pistol shot hit his chest twice. Blackshot took a step backwards as he raised his left hand and sent a streak of lightning at the Wolf Rider, frying it completely.
  39. Beside him, Jeth fired his Blast Rifle at a Strongarm Legionnaire approaching the two of them. Its face was melted and its chest burns away due to plasma fire. He whirled behind him and drilled the twenty-nine inches bayonet at the face of a Wolf Rider, killing him. Sensing footsteps behind him, Jeth pivoted around to see a Strongarm's normal fist heading straight to his face. He was thrown backwards; blood flowing out of his nose. He stood up and raised his rifle but was surprised that he lost his grip to it.
  40. "Damn, this bastards hit like real men!" Jeth says as he swung in a hook. The Strongarm Legionnaire blocked it with its right arm but Jeth tucked the arm under his left armpit as he cocks back and sent a powerful right uppercut. The Demon's jaws broke upon contact. He watched the Demon fell; a Wolf Rider rushed towards him and tackled him to the ground. He could feel its right arm punching its way through his stomach. The Battle Gear was strong enough to endure bullet shots but the strength of the Demons are enough to put a hurt to the Protectorates. He rolled backwards as he drew out a grey scimitar with a red hilt from his back and decapitated the Demon with a single blow. He leaned to the left as a Strongarm Legionnaire rushed at him, morning star flying. Jeth rolled away as he rushed towards the Demon. He sent a kick straight at its stomach then sliced its head off. Spotting his rifle on the ground, he rushed towards it and bent to pick it up. He raised it just in time as a Wolf Rider closes in. He squeezed the trigger gently one handed as he razed the Demon's face with steaming plasma.
  41. "Private Richter, on me!" A digitalized voice yelled amidst the chaos. Jeth realized that it was the Remnant Fireteam making their way towards them. They were lost in the pleasure of fighting and hadn't realized that they were deep inside enemy lines.
  42. The Demons around them were repelled, although not killed. Some were injured, some were dodging. Humans proved to be inferior to the Demons in combat, but the Demons knew that a pious little kid can expel them from the world easily without moving a finger, but it wouldn't kill them. They were afraid of Humans with faith.
  43. "Keep firing!" Blackshot yelled as he crushed a Strongarm Legionnaire's face with his left boot. He raised his sword and sliced a Wolf Rider's chest diagonally then swung the sword over his head, decapitating it with a single blow. He charged at a squad of Wolf Riders and strikes at the nearest one. It doesn't take too much effort to cut the Demon's head in half. He swung his blade as he spun clockwise, bisecting a Demon in half. He strike from below as the sharp edge touches a Wolf Rider's skin upwards, splitting it in half. He charged at the next one; the Wolf Rider fired frantically but the bullets bounces off the Protectorate's armor. Blackshot closes in and strikes diagonally from right to left, then another diagonal slash from right to left, then he impaled the Wolf Rider's chest. He pulled it out and moved on with the last one. He charged at the Wolf Rider and tackled him to the ground. Blackshot inverted his grip on the sword with a twirl; its tip was now pointing to the ground. He spun it in his hand before impaling the Demon on its chest. A dying cry escaped from its lips.
  44. Jeth rushed from the smoke as he aimed at a trio of Wolf Riders. His first shot hit the face of the first one. Two more shots escaped from the muzzle of his rifle, followed by a scream of death as the second Wolf Rider's chest burned away. His aim jumped to the last one and rapidly squeezed the trigger, killing the Demon with shots to the chest. He glanced to the right as he saw a Strongarm Legionnaire rushing to him with morning star swinging. He fired three time at its face, quickly switched to his sword, and decapitated another Strongarm Legionnaire.
  45. Blackshot ran across the battlefield and jumped high. His sword was raised up high, a battle cry was escaping his throat. He landed in the middle of a Strongram Demon group and struck downwards, sending the Demons flying in all directions. He glanced to the right and launched a flaming ball at a Strongarm Legionnaire's direction, burning it down.
  46. "Brother Lapurias!" One of the Demons yelled. When Jeth turned to see, it was one of the Hell Barons. It was either the green Demon or the red one. Further examination tells him that it was the red one. "Kill that one! I'll kill the one with the sword!"
  47. The Baron Lapurias nods silently as he jumped in the air. He landed inches away from Jeth and immediately sent a palm strike. Jeth leaned to the left, evading the attack. He cocks back and launched his right fist at the face of the Demon. Lapurias took a step backwards as Jeth raised his sword and strikes. The Baron immediately disappeared in a blur of moving motion, then materializes itself above Jeth, landing a kick down at his shoulder. Jeth was pressed to the ground. Annoyed, he de-materialized in bright purple light and reappeared a farther inch away from the Demon. He had his left hand raised, ready to fire any Enochian magic. He blasted him with bright holy light, marring the chest of the Demonic Baron. Lapurias retaliates as he extends his right arm. A whip made out of burning lava appeared from his hand and immediately lashed Jeth vertically. Jeth was sent one knee on the ground. He kicked off the ground and tackled Lapurias to the ground. As he knelt on the top of him, Jeth sent a fist on Lapurias' face. He sent another punch and another until the strawhat covering his head flew away, revealing its blue skinned face. Purple blood can be seen dripping out of its mouth and the gashes on its face. The Baron snatched a stone from the ground beside him and tried to hit Jeth to no avail as the Protectorate caught the Baron's wrist. Jeth pried the stone from his armored hand and started beating Lapurias' face to a pulp. Satisfied with the damage, he aimed his free hand at the Demon's damaged face and fired a blast of lightning at it. The headless Baron laid lifeless on the ground, wound cauterized.
  48. Blackshot strikes at a Wolf Rider diagonally then spun clockwise as he impaled behind, killing a Strongarm Legionnaire. He pulled the sword out and blocked a strike coming from nowhere. Another strike almost got him but he blocked it. Blackshot takes a step back and saw the black skinned Demon in a red lamellar armor with two tomahawks at hand. He grinned.
  49. "The name is Makrias when they asked who beat you." The Demon Baron said confidently to which Blackshot didn't reply. The Protectorate charged and strikes. Makrias blocked it with his tomahawks but Blackshot sent a knee at the face of the Demon Baron, causing him to stumble backwards. Blackshot strikes, but Makrias blocked it with his left blade. He spun in a clockwise motion towards Blackshot with the other tomahawk swinging, slicing Blackshot's nape open. Makrias sent a knee at Blackshot's spine, causing him to lose balance. Blackshot's blood stained the ground. His sword laid beside him and he was crawling away from the Demon.
  50. "Now die!" Makrias yelled as he jumped, tomahawks ready to cut the Protectorate open. Blackshot rolled to the left and launched a fist sized flaming boulder at the chest of his attacker. Makrias let out a bloodcurdling scream as he rolled backwards.
  51. "FUUCCCCKK!!!" He cursed as he watched Blackshot stood and rushed towards him. He rolled across the ground as he picked up his sword. Blackshot strikes horizontally, damaging the lamellar armor from left to right, then the second time, right to left. Blood sprayed out of the wounds of the Demon. Blackshot sent a knee strike, hitting the jaw of the Demon. Blackshot added a downward vertical strike in the combo; now he was looking at a lacerated Baron with bleeding wounds.
  52. "You asshole!" The Baron screamed as he twirled the tomahawks. "Shadow Shuriken!" He yelled as he sent a spinning dark matter at Blackshot.
  53. The Protectorate de-materialized into burning smoke as he accelerated towards the Baron. Makrias keeps on sending Shadow Shuriken at him but the Protectorate was simply passing through his attack. When he materializes into view, Blackshot spun in a clockwise motion as he impaled the Baron in his chest.
  54. "The name is Blackshot when they asked who beats you." Blackshot says as he blasted Makrias' face with a ray of light.
  55. The Demon Legionnaires assembled in front of the clubhouse building. They were what's left of the Legion razed by the Protectorates and the Remnant Soldiers. So far, there are no Remnant casualties which is good. It's what they need now, survival rate. Blackshot and Jeth, blood covered and wounded, walked towards the Demon Legionnaires and paused. The Remnant Fireteam stopped an inch behind them.
  56. "Hey Protektovares!" A voice yelled from behind. It was the third Baron. The Slipknot inside wasn't too smart to speak. It only knew warfare and violence. "How about this, you take a step inside this Clubhouse," He paused as he nods at someone behind him. A bound and gagged girl came into view. She was gagged with a white cloth with cheeks stuffed with something. A rope restrains her chest. She was crying, tears streaking from her eyes. "I will kill her!"
  57. "Remnants!" Blackshot yelled. "Initiate Attack Protocol Number 57, Massacre them all!!" Blackshot added as he glowed and transformed into his Angelic Form. He spread his bright wings and leapt over the Demon Legionnaires, towards the open balcony of the Clubhouse. As he landed, he transformed to his Human form, lest he destroy the entire third floor of the structure. He glanced from left to right and saw the Demon Squadronites from the Tartarus Squadron. Dark green armor, face hidden behind gold visors. Their long black rifle were directly aimed at him. In front of him was the yellow armored Baron with a red face and long white hair. His eyes was a slit, as if he was Chinese. A spike protrudes out of his left shoulder plate and an inverted face of a screaming Human was etched on his chest plate.
  58. "Polias," Blackshot says, glaring.
  59. "Good to see you again, Protectorate." He said, he was still holding the female hostage with his left arm. Behind him were more people, residents trussed up and muffled. They were guarded by Demons from Tartarus Squadron.
  60. "Alright, that's it." Blackshot says. "Everybody dies!" He charged and sent a flying kick at Polias, who used the girl as a body shield. Blackshot disappeared in a blur and reappeared behind the Demon. He was about to attack when the Tartarus Squadron opened up at him. Blackshot pulled his Kinetic Rifle to bear and took aim. He fired at a Demon, shattering his faceplate. His aim jumped to the second one and fired, chest ravaged by gunfire. He rolled to his left as streams of bullets hit the space he was previously standing on. He mindlessly tossed a magnetic grenade on a Squadron Demon. The grenade attached itself at the Demon's chest with a click! Blackshot lifted him up telepathically and tossed him at a group of Squadron Demons. They blew up, covering the ground and the walls with guts and blood. Blackshot examined the room he was in quickly. It was filled with brown furniture and painted in white. He focused on his enemies, raising his rifle and firing at a Squadron Demon, shattering his chest and neck. He aimed at the other one and fired as well, hitting him on the face plate. He whirled behind him and launched a streak of lightning at Demon Squadron. He rolled to his right as he avoided another shot but another one luckily hit him on the back. Blackshot fired back, hitting the Demon's faceplate and shattering the visor to million pieces.
  61. "I need more men in the Third Floor!" Polias screamed; a hundred footsteps followed.
  62. Blackshot turned at the direction of the sound. On the farthest right corner, he could see dark green clad Demons marching into view. Blackshot slid his weapon to his back and pulled a much more deadly one that he had carried the entire mission, yet, never bothered using it.
  63. The Utility Rifle has a huge drum ammo attached on the magazine feeder in front of the trigger. He lifted the gun in front of his face and grinned.
  64. "Armor Piercer, Automatic." The Rifle clicked twice. Blackshot took aimed and opened fire, razing the Demon Squadrons with a squeeze of a trigger. Blood, metal and guts spilled across the floor. The remaining Demons on the third floor decided to rush him and harass him with bullet fire. For him, there is simply no time to aim at them.
  65. "Heatseeker, Ricochet." After the clicks, he aimed upwards and fired on the roof. The ammunition fired bounced off from the roof towards the Demons around him. He wasn't worried that the Humans might get shot because the bullets were engineered to only hit beings with supernatural thermal signatures, be they cold nor hot. Though, the downside of it, it was ineffective against Human enemies. The Demon Squadrons laid dead on the ground, bleeding. Blackshot stared at Polias, who tossed his hostage on the ground.
  66. "I need men on the third floor now!" He yelled.
  67. "But sir, they have obliterated the Legionnaires now! If we send more men there, we will be running out of defenders!" A voice protested over the radio.
  68. "Just do it now!" Polias insisted.
  69. Blackshot rushed at him empty handed, sending a fist which was blocked by Polias' left elbow. He retaliated with a right chop; Blackshot swatted it away with his right hand. His left hand took hold of Polias' right wrist while his right clenched fist was sent towards Polias' right eye. The Baron reacted quickly as he caught Blackshot's fist. He stepped his foot behind Blackshot's left ankle and swept him off the ground. Blackshot aimed his left hand at Polias' chest calmly and blasted him away with a pocket of air, an orb of psychical strength and and a ray of light. The Baron hit the ground with a crack as Blackshot stood up and snatched the Utility Rifle from the ground. He lifted it near his lips and instructed.
  70. "Phaser, Incendiary, Armor Piercer, Heatseeker." The Rifle clicked four times. He used his infrared vision to spot the Demons below the third floor making their way towards the staircase to the floor. He took aim and opened fired relentlessly, killing the Demon Squadrons who were rushing to their Baron's aid. He took aim at Polias, who sent a fist upwards, sending him a few inches off the ground. His rifle fell from his hand. He stood up, wiping blood from his mouth with his left hand. He charged at the Baron, sending flaming balls at the same time. Polias moved out of the way but a trio of those balls had marred his chest plate. He keeps moving out of the Protectorate's line of fire but it stopped as Blackshot drew his sword out. Polias knew that the Protectorate wants to slice him up. It wasn't an invitation of close combat, but rather pure rage and anger.
  71. "Yes! Be angry!!" Polias yelled as he rushed at Blackshot. He sent a fist at Blackshot, hitting him squarely on the face. Taking a step back, Blackshot strikes at him vertically; the sharp edge of his blade cut through the armor of the Baron with an annoying groan. Blood sprayed out of the wound, covering Blackshot's armor. The Protectorate launched a fist at Polias' face, sending him down on the ground.
  72. "You're courting death, Polias?!" Blackshot asked with satisfaction and frenzy on his voice.
  73. "Send more men!" Polias yelled over the comms.
  74. "We can't send more! Our defenses are breached!"
  75. Blackshot grinned but Polias laughed.
  76. "What's so funny?"
  77. "The triumph card is mine haha! Release the Slipknot Kafviel!"
  78. A loud roar can be heard. To his right, a whirling portal of black purple and red appeared. He watched as a dark armored man walks out. Purple linings of his armor glowed brightly. Face covered in helmet. Armblades were attached on either of his forearms. He was grinning behind the faceplate. Two more men in the same appearance walked out of the portal. Then behind them, a roar could be heard. Another roar, then a ground shaking step. Blackshot watched with held breath as he saw a Duke walked out of the portal. The Slipknot known as "Kafviel" was a hunched muscular creature covered in chrome plates. It has the face of a jaguar with a mane of a lion. Its left arm was a crane of a truck, and the other, an oversized boulder. Horns appeared at its spine, ready to impale.
  79. "Kill them!" Polias ordered as the portal disappeared. Blackshot watched as the three Apprentices charged towards him. Blackshot lifted Polias with all his strength and threw him across the battlefield. One of the dumb Apprentices was crushed by the Baron's sheer wait. He strikes at the first one who approaches. The muffled screams of the civvies entered Blackshot's ears as they watched in horror but Blackshot ignored them as he watched his blade descend at the Demon. The Apprentice raised his left armblade to block but the force Blackshot exerted to it had caused a crack at the Apprentice's blade. The Apprentice cocks back and tried to impale Blackshot with his other blade. The Protectorate jumps back and strikes at the armblade of the Apprentice, breaking it as the blade fell to the ground. He shuffled his feet with a hop and sent a right foot at the chest of the Apprentice, sending him to the ground. The other one sprinted at him with a leap. Blackshot rolled forward to avoid. He watched as the Apprentice hit the ground with an aimed hand. He blasted him away with a ray of light at his back, causing him to stumble forward. Blackshot rushed at the down Apprentice and sent a kick at his face. He stood up groggily and attacked without a second taught. Blackshot amputated his hand with strike. The Apprentice stupidly swung his other armblade but was amputated as well. The Protectorate sent a knee strike at armless Apprentice.
  80. "Face me, Blackshot!" Polias yelled with the other Apprentice beside him.
  81. The two charged as well as the other Apprentice he beaten up first. Blackshot raised his blade and charged at them too. He strikes at the first Apprentice with his sword as he spun in a clockwise motion, then he thrust his blade at Polias with an impaling motion. Polias took a step back. He grinned as the third Apprentice impaled Blackshot's chest but the wound wasn't too deep. Annoyed, Blackshot sent a punch at the Apprentice's face, causing him to stumble backwards. He slammed the hilt of his sword twice at the face plate of the Apprentice followed by a knee strike. Blackshot sliced the Apprentice's right arm from the rest of his body. He did the same with the other one then impaled him squarely on the chest. He left the blade there as he pulled out his Kinetic Rifle with his right hand, then Utility Rifle with his left hand. He aimed the Kinetic Rifle at the first Apprentice and the Utility Rifle at Polias. Blackshot grinned as he spoke at the rifle.
  82. "Explosive, Ultraburn, Heatseeker, Magic Missile." Four click, Blackshot watched as the two Demons stood to their feet. With glares, they charged at Protectorate without much of a second thought. Blackshot let loose all the ammunition he had, perforating the Demons around him with bullets. The guns clicked empty as soon as the Demons hit the ground. Now all that was left was him and the Slipknot.
  83. It roared. It was the face of death and uncertainty, Blackshot thought. A monster, pure evil birthed from the laughter induced by murder, laughter made by madmen as they watched their victims fall. Blackshot stood in front of the bound hostages, ready to protect them. He screamed at the beast out of frustration. Without a weapon, he watched as it charged at him. Blackshot's whole body sparked with electricity. His eyes blackened as his dark wings sprouted from his back. His Spiritual Form, only inferior to the Angelic Form. He pulled out a sword made from glowing shadow out of nowhere, and charged at the beast. He leapt at the Slipknot while at the same time, the Slipknot was ready to strike. They clashed, his blade hitting the Duke's face. The Slipknot sent its crane-like hand to scoop Blackshot out of the way. He hit the wall with a loud bang! He fell on the ground and stood. His left hand aimed at the Duke's face but it rolled towards him. Blackshot dove out of the way, almost crushing him.
  84. "Blackshot, you can't fight that thing alone!" Jeth's voice yelled. He glanced to the left and saw him and the rest of the Remnants, soaked in blood.
  85. "About time." Blackshot replied. Jeth glowed and transformed into his Spiritual Form. Blue white wings glowed behind him. His eyes matches the color of his wings as well as his sword. Both of them charged towards the Slipknot. Jeth slashed the back of the Slipknot. The Demon whirled and tried to swat Jeth but Blackshot slashed its neck, causing blood to spray everywhere. It focused at Blackshot this time but Jeth descended from above and impaled its nape. Blackshot attached a magnetic grenade to its face. He moved out of the blast radius of the grenade as it exploded, exposing a meaty flesh underneath.
  86. "The face!" Blackshot yelled. Jeth nodded. They both aimed their hands at the flesh of the Slipknot and concentrated blasts of lights at their faces. The Slipknot let out an agonizing roar before slumping on the ground, dead.
  87. "Brother, that was intense!" Jeth yelled.
  88. "Not quite." Blackshot replied. "We still have to liberate the Settlement."
  89. Jeth nods, staring at the Duke. He wonders how many Demons they have to kill for the Second Coming of Christ to come.
