Dark Cloud - Deleting the Inventory, Unlocking the Dungeons, and Getting the Inventory Back

This document will outline how to delete the inventory and getting it back using the glitch menu. The differences between this method and TheGlitchKing's original method are that we have a different method of obtaining the glitch menu item, and we have a different way of counting to unlock the floors of the dungeons.

Deleting the Inventory

• Make sure that Dagger isn't equipped, and also isn't broken. It also must have a broken dagger attachment in order to get the inventory back.
• Put a broken dagger in slot one of the attachments menu
  • If you don't have a broken dagger:
    • Open the menu (Δ) and close it
    • Go to any shop
    • Go to the ninth row of your inventory
    • Press left (enter the shopping area), right + x (at the same time)
    • Close the shop
• Enter Edit Mode
• Δ -> Manual -> Georama -> Walking in a Georama
• Close menu
• Go to any store
• Go to the 11th row of the weapons inventory
• Right + x + R1 at the same time
  • Might want to buffer the input by unplugging the controller, holding the buttons, then plugging it back in
• Press right 3 times, X, R1, X
  • This will have deleted your inventory.

Unlocking the Dungeons

• Re-enter inventory
• Tab to Items inventory
• Bring down a row
• Tab to Attachments
• Put the broken dagger on the first slot of the glitch row.
• Exit out
• Open Δ menu, close it, re-enter shop.
• Pick up the bread
• Up 1, Right 10, Up 8
• Left until you get to the Check! box
• Spam left and up to get back in the shop
• Place the bread 6 to the right of where it was originally
  • This will get your worldmap back.
• Exit out, immediately re-enter
• Go to inventory
• Tab to attachments
• Pick up broken dagger without pressing up.
• Left 5, Up 1, Right 10
• Tab to Weapons
• Hold down for about 12 seconds until you find a Stone Breaker
  • You'll be close when you see a Plant Buster.
• Press down 5 times, R1, X
  • All of the dungeon floors will now be unlocked.

Getting the Inventory Back

• As a precaution, this is probably best to do a little later than the previous steps.
• Open Δ menu
• Items
• Go to the inventory, so your cursor will be on the items tab icon.
• Right 3, X
• Go back to inventory
• Bring down a row
• Tab to Weapons
• Place Dagger on the first slot of the glitch row.
  • You will now have 1 billion+ defence for all characters and Toan's weapon won't break.
• Place the broken dagger in your active items in your attachment inventory.
• You should have an inventory back, but it also might have some glitchy behavior.
• Re-equip weapons.
