  9. Mathematicians look like humans in studious clothes - a clean button up shirt, polished shoes etc. -however many believe this is merely a façade, for they know things mere human could not. They often carry ledgers, and a small twisting and rotating contraption with numbers and mathematical symbols on them they refer to as their Number Wheel. They are known for excellent tactical awareness, even if they aren’t very proficient with direct combat. Instant calculations of the stars, analysis of mental and written records, and rapid simulations give them foresight of their outcomes in any given task, however once observed they cannot change it.
  10.
  11. Whenever a Mathematicians would roll a die and they have their Number Wheel on them, they instead use the number assigned by their random number wheel (plus/minus relevant modifiers), and they know a number of future results on the wheel equal to their HD. The Mathematician will use this knowledge when making their decisions, for example they may know that their next attack won’t be able to get around tough armor (they know the next number of their d20 number wheel is a low number, making it a low to-hit roll) and choose to target the unarmored magic-user. In combat, if a Mathematician’s foresight suggested a specific outcome they will use that knowledge when deciding to stay in the fight, trumping normal morale rolls.
  12.
  13. NOTE: Multiple Random Number Wheels are provided below so players do not become familiar with the wheel and grow bored. Furthermore, once you begin a wheel you should never change the direction (clockwise or counter clockwise) or leave it until you make a complete circle around it. For outcomes of multiple dice, such as 2d6, simply chose appropriate number of wheels and sum the total.
