TSW 21: Mary and Hikari (And the Devil)

[18:58]	IcePickLobotomy	Time: July 25th. 3:23pm. Location: Gibraltar Heights Hich-School.
[18:59]	IcePickLobotomy	"Freeedom!" Hikari twirls as she steps past the large set of doors and into the afternoon sun. Her nose is bandaged still from the break the other day, but she is in good spirits.
[19:01]	IcePickLobotomy	Most of the other students are either too absorbed in their own lives or inured to Hikari's outbursts to do more than give her a quick glance.
[19:04]	Sarah	"School isn't sooo bad here..." She says with a smile as she walks next to her
[19:04]	IcePickLobotomy	"But it's /boring/ ." She sticks her tongue out
[19:06]	Sarah	"Not all subjects are boring " She says amused " And I can say that you will miss PE , unlike me Miss looking much"
[19:07]	IcePickLobotomy	"Dodge-ball is fun, I don't see why you don't like it." She strides forth to the streets
[19:09]	Sarah	"It was't doodge ball that I was talking about , There was a certain incident with the swiim team after all "
[19:09]	Sarah	"And it is to mch moving and Misses Yang is EVIl.. EVIL...!"
[19:09]	IcePickLobotomy	"I like Miss Yang. She's funny."
[19:23]	Sarah	"Until she hits you , again and again.. and with all that mary you need to run, and her .. comments "

[19:23]	IcePickLobotomy	"Well you do. . . . That or get good at dodging." She turns and smiles "I could help you practice~"
[19:29]	Sarah	"Well we saw how good your dive to the ground technique was " She says trying to overplay her concern with a joke as she looks at her nose
[19:29]	IcePickLobotomy	". . . . That's a low blow."
[19:40]	Sarah	"Not as low as you yesterday"
[19:41]	IcePickLobotomy	She narrows her eyes "Oh, those are fighting words."
[19:45]	Sarah	"More like Falling words"
[19:45]	IcePickLobotomy	She gives you a flat look. The effect is ruined by her inability to keep a straight face.

[19:57]	IcePickLobotomy	"I'm more of a Ryu fan myself, but I think I can beat you with Chun-Li anyways. Loser buys lunch."

[20:06]	IcePickLobotomy	The Arcade is a rather large section, with a somewhat small open entrance that immediately leaves you standing in the dark, the harsh colorful glare of the arcade cabinets are in strike contrast to the dark blue floor and ceiling. It's rather crowded  with the after-school rush, teenagers and school-children shifting about at the from the games and the crowded dining area filled with greasy...
[20:06]	IcePickLobotomy	...pizza and soda. A cacophony of bleeps and bloops intermix with the indistinct murmur of the crowd.
[20:09]	mary	"I still thing these look strange and yet cool"
[20:10]	IcePickLobotomy	Arcade cabnets are everywhere. You see some sort of racing done with a sort of 3D-wireframe. There are more familar faces, Ms. Pacman, Defender, Space-Invaders, Missile Defense, Street Fighter, Mortal Combat.
[20:11]	IcePickLobotomy	"Come on, let's grab a Street Fighter. . ." She looks over the long row of Street Fighter games before moving in for a open slot. Someone else sees it and goes for it, only to get hip-checked by Hikari, knocking him out of the way. "So, you /do/ know how to play, right?"
[20:15]	mary	"I do .. more or less.."
[20:16]	mary	"I did it a few times but not really enough to know all the combo stuff by nature"
[20:17]	IcePickLobotomy	mary: Hikari's smile reminds you /far/ to much of the pool-sharks in New York for your wallets comfort.
[20:20]	mary	smiles back, well if she wins she will be happy after all

[20:29]	IcePickLobotomy	mary: The ensuing "fight" is short, brutal and embarrassing as Hikari effortlessly takes you aprt. You land a handful of hits, but Chun-Li's thunder thighs are too much and you loose a solid 0 to 3.

[20:31]	mary	"Even after I tried her on you myself.."
[20:31]	mary	"AND SO THE WINNER IS "
[20:31]	IcePickLobotomy	"Me!" She grabs your hand 'And you owe me pizza now, extra olives."
[20:35]	mary	"Nothing more ? Well I got a bit more money so splurge on it"

[20:36]	mary	raises Hikaris hand in a boxing winner gesture
[20:36]	IcePickLobotomy	She drags you over to the dining area and rapidly orders a pizza with extra olives. . . and pepperoni, and anchovies, and cheese.

[20:41]	mary	orders something with bacon, extra chese and after a moment ads some extra Tuna
[20:41]	IcePickLobotomy	"So, how've things been with you? I haven't seen Kasra around, is he ok?"
[20:46]	mary	stares into her diet coke for a moment "He got hurt during the last fight and , we are still waiting for him to wake up"
[20:46]	IcePickLobotomy	"Oh no."
[21:00]	mary	"We have high hopes that he will do so but he isn't yet, Neural feedback, his body is okay but.."
[21:01]	IcePickLobotomy	"I see? It's good he's alive, uh I don't suppose I could visit him could I?"
[21:02]	IcePickLobotomy	"I mean, he seemed nice, if kinda a dork."
[21:04]	mary	"Well if you are evading falling on him, but yes I think I can ask for that even if he is over in METI. And yes he is nice "

[21:07]	mary	"Oh? Well Unlike John he would have caught you"
[21:07]	IcePickLobotomy	She smirks "I'm not poaching him from under you am I?"
[21:10]	mary	"Well, Uh, I am happy for you two in that case."
[21:13]	IcePickLobotomy	She leans back in the chair, hands folded behind her head "I'm not that serious about it. I mean if he /did/ ask me out I'd say yes, but. . ."

[21:18]	mary	leans back and drinks stretching her legs as she distracts herself
[21:18]	IcePickLobotomy	"I dunno." She bites into a slice of her pizza "It's like. . . I dunno how to phrase it exactly. There's something a little off about Kasra, you know?"
[21:21]	mary	"Hh, what do you mean ?"
[21:23]	IcePickLobotomy	"It's. . . He's got a. . . strange look in his eyes. Sorta like John but not so. . . hard edged."
[21:23]	IcePickLobotomy	"No, that's not right either. It's not that it's softer, just. . . different?"
[21:29]	mary	blinks and leans in close and then reaches ot to take her hand "Hikari?"
[21:33]	IcePickLobotomy	"I. . . sorry, nevermind, I'd rather not talk about it ok?"
[21:37]	mary	nods and squezes it " If there is anything that I can do, I have an open ear for you. Or just a shoulder"
[21:39]	IcePickLobotomy	"I know, just that. .  I'm still trying to work out how to even phrase it I guess."

[21:42]	mary	looks concerned, because she is for both of them
[21:42]	IcePickLobotomy	"Sorry to bring things down. . ." She adds sheepishly, poking at the last few slices of her pizza
[21:44]	mary	"Well , you are used to getting down after all"
[21:45]	mary	blinks and then widens her eyes and goes red
[21:45]	IcePickLobotomy	She playfully swats your hand. "Wait. . . I dun get it?"
[21:47]	mary	"I think it is better if you don't"
[21:49]	IcePickLobotomy	". . . I assume I shouldn't ask my mother about this then?"
[21:50]	mary	"Considering that I want to evade getting sworded..."
[21:55]	IcePickLobotomy	"She wouldn't sword you, you're a guest."
[21:55]	mary	"Even if she meets me outside of your home?

[22:00]	mary	"See, and so I am not sayingt anything that might make her think that I corrupt you ..Well more then you already are."

[22:09]	mary	"Still. Should the apartment get to small for you, well it is not quite a sleepover but I got a couch for you"

[22:11]	mary	"Well, I am also offering it without the need to flee parental judgement. If you want to have another attack of bad taste and want to watch John leave the bathroom after his morning run.

[22:14]	mary	shakes her head "At least I do not have to warn Artnoym away from you...right?"
[22:15]	IcePickLobotomy	"What no! He's too old. . . but he is really nice actually. I mean as a person. He looked really scary though."

[22:20]	IcePickLobotomy	"Oh? So what was that about my taste then huh!" She jabs your collarbone, rising out of the seat "How'd you know what good taste is if you don't /sample/ the product!"

[22:27]	mary	"YOu uh.. suit aerobic"

[22:31]	mary	"Uh, the work outfits? "She gets a bit more silent "Piloting suits are basically uh.. aerobic suits with a bit more...Also for the boys "

[22:34]	mary	"Yes.. and no they have cups just to stop that beforehand..."
[22:34]	mary	suddenly is very interested in her coke

[16:16]	IcePickLobotomy	She quickly drags you to one of the many clothing stores in the Tower, this one a more specialty place.
[16:17]	Mary	does not resist that and then takes a moment to look at what is avaible as she takes a breath, the other girl could move a bit slower after a ll
[16:23]	IcePickLobotomy	She drags you into a specialty shop tucked into a side-hall. It carries a fair amount of exotic and avant gaurde fashion, as well as more typical items. A bored girl lounges at the cashier station, she's dark skinned with half her head shaved and the other dyed green, she barely looks up from her magazine as you walk in.
[16:25]	Mary	nods at her and then starts to look around if anything is starting to catch her eyes.
[16:26]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: You notice leather corset attached to a mannequin. It's studded with steel and red geometric patterns.
[16:28]	Mary	blinks and takes a closer look at it
[16:34]	Mary	also raises a hand to touch the material
[16:35]	IcePickLobotomy	It's smooth and cool to the touch, the red patterns are softer, made of some sort of lace woven into the patterns
[16:36]	Mary	looks if it might even qualify as her size
[16:37]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: From the looks of it, , it does not. It would however, fit Reagan
[16:40]	Mary	nods, thinking for a moment and then looks what Hikari is doing
[16:41]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: You can see Hiakri's lower half sticking out from a rack of jackets.
[16:43]	Mary	smirks and leaves her for a moment as she looks around for something else looking at her from times to time
[16:59]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: Your eyes catch on a long skirt. It's made from dark-brown and red threads in a verticale pattern, with gold threads strung along it to create geometric shapes and fractals.
[17:01]	Mary	blinks and then is captured by the shapes and fractals. they oh, how creative, an with the way that it might move...
[17:01]	Mary	beelines over to it and holds it up trying to get a feel for it and if the shapes really seem to move with the light and movement..
[17:02]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: It's very soft, made of silk, and quite light. It shifts in the light breeze of the stores AC easily, the light filtering through it sending spiderwebed shadows across your arms
[17:04]	Mary	hopes that at least this one is in her size ... considering her size which is a ...tad . above the regular teenage girl one
[17:04]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: It is your size.
[17:05]	Mary	then looks for a changing room and plans to head there , unless she misplaces hikari on the way .. and she takes the corset for good measure
[17:07]	Mary	will then try the skirt on.
[17:09]	IcePickLobotomy	Hikari is waiting for you when you emerge from the changing room. "Ohhhh wow that's pretty." She runs her hand along the skirt "Though a little long for my tastes." She has a skirt of her own in her arms, though it looks more like a thin ring of cloth than a proper article of clothing.
[17:10]	Mary	"Well uh.. at least I got fabric on it?"
[17:11]	Mary	sticks out her tongue "And thanks I saw it and I had to take it . And hey watch it as It moves

[17:13]	IcePickLobotomy	Your motions sends skittering shadows of shapes and fractals shifting and twilring across the space as the soon sneaks through a nearby window. "Woah. I wish that'd fit me."
[17:14]	Mary	"Well I got something that might fit you but I was unsure if I should instead take it with me to reagan as..."
[17:14]	Mary	waves her hands a little and shows of the corset
[17:14]	IcePickLobotomy	"What. . ." She glances at the corset. " . . . Nah, that'd fit Reagan better, she's taller than me."
[17:17]	Mary	"Well I was thinking for me as the corset isn't showinf of my stomache and I have the chest for one but I thi8nk it wold be a ...bit much...?

She's wearing a loose tank-top that leaves her sides and belly exposed, and the skirt is just long enough to hide her undergarments and not a millimeter longer. She smiles "Wow, it's certainly comfortable though."
[17:45]	Mary	"Can you even bend over in that thing?"
[17:45]	Mary	"And uh.. it looks good on you "
[17:45]	Mary	isn't jelly no ma'am
[17:46]	IcePickLobotomy	"I could, if I wanted to flash my panties to everyone in a eye-sight."
[17:53]	Mary	nods while one of her hands came to rest on her belly " Well but it is clearly a free spirited outfit and it helps to present yourselof in a good looking way if you wanted to catch adoration, just take care not to lose your footing on the boys drolling"

[18:31]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: It's something between a cocktail dress and the dresses you see saw in China-town. It's a striking red color with white floral motifs running around it.
[18:33]	Mary	"It looks good? It has one of these..slit thingys?"

[18:44]	Mary	then wants to take it unless hikari wants to claim it for herself

[18:53]	Mary	"Oh Hello mis Yang, I . did not assume to meet you here I am well enough what about you " she says, softly grabbing at the air, so close and yet...
[18:55]	IcePickLobotomy	"Hey!" Hikari attempts a flying tackle, Yang spins out of the way . . . and into a pile of nearby clothing.
[18:59]	Mary	goes for the dress... trying not to hurt it, unlike miss yang. Revenge is sweet and well , if her shoes make a acident well...
[19:00]	IcePickLobotomy	Yang is distracted by the rabid Hikari wrestling her, and you manage to grab the dress. "Hey-Urk!"
[19:04]	Mary	abscont mary into a changing room, worn items can't be taken after all
[19:04]	Mary	"Hah, saw it first"
[19:04]	Mary	is her comment as she does so
[19:05]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: It's a tad long, nothing a bit of hemming won't fix. It's also made of silk, and feels wonderful on your skin. When you walk out Yang is holding Hikari out at arms length, using her height to keep the girl's feet of the ground. ". . . I saw it last week, I only get payed today. . ." She whines
[19:09]	Mary	shivers slightly as she allows herself that nice feeling and moves a bit in it , maybe even.. twirling.. " Maam?"

[19:11]	IcePickLobotomy	You see Hikari stuck upside down in a hamper of clothing. Her legs kick feeble in the air as she tries to free herself
[19:13]	Mary	walks over to free the girl "About the dress..."
[19:13]	Mary	pulls at hikari to get her out.

[19:17]	Mary	"Look, I like it quite and you also buuuut."

[19:19]	IcePickLobotomy	Mary: The hamper tumbles over and Hikari scuirms her way out. She points a finger at Yang "You're mean!"
[19:19]	Mary	"For one yo could have asked them to pt it aside, second I am not evil..." (unlike you..) "even if you are mean"

[19:21]	Mary	"I said your meanyness out loud!"
[19:22]	IcePickLobotomy	"You didn't need to say it out loud." Yang says, glaring at Hikari who glares back ineffectually
[19:25]	Mary	"Ma'am we are all on a holliday break.."

[19:28]	IcePickLobotomy	"Don't worry Mary, I wouldn't actually punish you for buying the dress, I'm not /that/ evil."

[19:32]	IcePickLobotomy	"Actually, like, we've got about like 5 more of those in the back. Or something." The girl at the till drawls, sounding both bored and offended that you even required her attention
[19:35]	Mary	"I could have tried to bribe her... That ... would have removed so much dodgeball!"

[19:44]	Mary	"So uh... no hard feelings?"
[19:44]	IcePickLobotomy	"Uh huh." She pops her bubblegum. Yang smirks and mouths "wathc this" to you and sneaks up on the girl. . . .
[19:50]	Mary	blinks and then makes to stand away rom that and next to the only sane person aka hikari in here
[19:50]	IcePickLobotomy	Yang creeps up to the counter. "DROP AND GIVE ME 50 ANNA!" She shouts at the girl.
