- These are supposed to be bold predictions for fun, otherwise this would be too easy/not interesting.
- 1. Has almost all RDR Map
- Lots of leaks and videos that seem like old map
- I don't just mean West Elizabeth
- 2. Leaked map hasn't changed at all
- I'm really interested to see how the workflow goes, does the map ever change after pre/early production?
- 3. John playable
- R* loves multiple playable characters (RDR, L.A. Noire, GTAV, GTA:IV Expansions)
- 4. PC version released May 2019
- I'm 99% sure a PC release will happen
- Looking at previous Console->PC dates, this is my best guess
- In built video editor no one ever uses
- 5. Only half the gang's deaths explained
- Lots of gang members, the gang probably ends at the end, but not all gang members deaths are shown
- We know a few from RDR obv, the other 1/4 will be shown in RDR2, the other half never explained
- 6. Fun glitch gets patched
- Swing Glitch (GTA:IV), Gate Glitch (GTA:V), all of RDR
- 7. Online cheaters within first week
- PS4/Xbone security is better/newer though, I could well be wrong here
- I highly doubt much will change about the networking from GTA:V
- 8. Twist/Surprise ending
- RDR (John death), GTA:IV (Roman/*LOVE INTEREST*) and GTA:V (KILL SOMEONE OR DON'T WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY THE BETTER OPTION) had this
- 9. Hidden reference to silly RDR glitch somewhere
- Like a book referencing bird people or something
- 10. 1 horse to rule them all
- There will be one or more horses just objectively/statistically better than all other horses
- In singleplayer anyway
- 11. 3+ Perfect review scores
- The games media will get caught up in all the hype/"lobbying"
- At least 3 outlets will give it "Perfect" scores
- 12. Next Gen version announced
- If this happens it *might* delay the PC version GTA:V style?
- My guess is reversed GTA:V, so Old Gen->PC->New gen
- Means PC will get Old Gen version instead of the best/latest version?
- 13. Consumers wake up to Crunch
- Just me being hopeful, but with this crunch now becomes a talking point
- Media ask companies about it, companies announce they don't do it for easy good press
- 14. Targets chequerboard 4k on Pro/X
- The game tries to maintain chequerboarded 4k on Pro/X at all times
- No dynamic resolution at cost of FPS maybe
- 15. The most minigames evaaaarr
- Most "minigames"/activities in any R* game ever
- Known: Fishing, Herding/Rustling, Poker, Liars Dice, Dominoes, 5 Finger Fillet
- Not sure how many is actually the most currently but yolo
- 16. First "speedrun" 9 hours long
- Any% No Mission Skips or equivalent that is
- 17. Choices/Dialogue system extremely shallow
- This is a bit subjective but basically there are little to no consequences to your actions, outside of super shallow stuff like a character dies or doesn't.
- 18. Gets "GTA-afied"
- Gameplay in general is closer to GTA:V then RDR
- I'm not exactly sure what I mean by this but I'm sure we'll know
- This is R*s big budget one shot hope game, it has to be casual oriented and appeal to GTA fans
- 19. No satisfying conclusion to The Strange Man arch
- Subjective but my guess is there won't be a clear ending/storyline
- 20. 100% will be closer to 50%
- GTA:V's 100% counter ends at like 50%, and this has only ever gotten worse in R* games since GTA:SA.
- 21. Bathing Tutorial Mission
- A mission that has a tutorial box pop up and teach the player about Bathing
- 22. Twitch ban drama
- Someone gets banned for streaming the game for some reason, whether it's streaming it early or anything else
- 23. Exactly 6 "Heist" missions
- Heists being like in GTA:V
- 24. Loot Safes
- Lootcrates are in Online, called Loot Safes.
- You unlock the safes by playing, but only get a trickle of keys and you can buy the keys.
