Every full moon the tides go abnormally high and deposit this pool into this cave, and have done so since the island rose up in arrogance from the sea. It symbolizes the truth that the sea will eventually swallow up the land once again. Perhaps your clever enough to avoid drowning, perhaps the small one is mad enough to welcome it, but the ignorant masses, this lummox, will breathe one breath of the sea waters and perish. I need only wait and perhaps I may dream of those wetter days.”
