Anyone... As clueless as me???

Total newb here. Well, I wouldn't even all myself that. I am more in the design side of things. Just joined the page and was wondering if anyone could answer my question. I have a Android for a reason. Same reason most people have abdriods. customization. Although this time around I have chosen not to root and its been fine for about 6 months now. But I have the itch. So is it ok to change the number "0", "1", "2" "null" in a third party app like the one in my screen shot (Settings Database Editor) incase it does not upload. I tested the battery % line and it took it off immediately and added it back when I changed 1 to 0 and back again. So I'm assuming yes you can???
