Right to cancellation:

You have the right to cancel this contract without giving any reason within 14 days from the day on which you take possession of the goods purchased (or the last good in the case that the contract relates to the delivery of goods in multiple partial deliveries or multiple lots or pieces) or from the day of the conclusion of the contract in the case of digital contents not supplied in a tangible medium (e.g. CDs or DVDs).

To exercise your right to cancellation, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your order. Please direct your request to:

Amazon Services Europe Sarl, 5 Rue Plaetis, L-2338 Luxemburg for products sold by a Marketplace seller and fulfilled by Amazon.
You may submit your request according to the instructions and forms available on our Online Returns Centre in electronic form, by contacting our Customer Service or using this Standard Form. In case you use our Online Returns Centre, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such cancellation without undue delay (e.g. by e-mail).

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication on the exercise of the right to cancellation before the cancellation period has expired and return the goods via our Online Returns Centre within the deadline defined below.

Effects of cancellation:

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you for the goods purchased and will also reimburse delivery charges for the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us. This reimbursement will be made without undue delay and, except in the situations described below, by no later than 14 days from the day on which we received your communication on the cancellation of this contract. For such reimbursement we will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any case by no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate to us your cancellation of this contract via our Online Returns Centre.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the regular cost of returning the goods if the goods delivered correspond to the goods ordered and if the price of the goods to be sent back does not exceed an amount of 40 euros, or if, where the price of the goods is higher, you, at the date of the cancellation, have not yet paid the consideration or paid a contractually agreed partial payment. Otherwise the return of the goods is free of charge. You will only have to pay compensation for any deterioration of value of the goods if the value of the goods diminishes due to handling of the goods in a manner which goes beyond what it necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of cancellation:

The right to cancellation does not exist or lapses, as the case may be, in the case of contracts regarding:
the delivery of goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygienic reasons if unsealed by you after delivery, or which, due to their nature, are, after delivery, inseparately mixed with other items;
the delivery of sealed audio or video recordings or of sealed software if unsealed by you after delivery;
the supply of goods made to customer specifications or clearly customized to personal needs;
the supply of goods which may deteriorate or expire rapidly;
a service if Amazon has fully performed it (e.g. the use of the Amazon MP3 Music Service) and you acknowledged and expressly accepted before you placed your order that we could start to deliver the service, and that your right to cancellation would lapse once the contract had been fully performed;
the delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price has been agreed upon conclusion of the sales contract, which however can only be delivered after 30 days and whose actual value is dependent on fluctuations in the market which we cannot control.

End of instruction on right to cancellation

Please note the following: If you purchase a subsidized device together with your new service contract or the upgrade of your existing service contract, you can only cancel the purchase and the service contract together. If you cancel the service contract you simultaneously declare the cancellation of the purchase contract and vice versa.

Our voluntary returns guarantee:

Without prejudice to the aforementioned right to cancellation, you can return all products purchased from us to Amazon.de within 30 days of receipt of the products if the products are complete and in an unused and undamaged condition. For shrink-wrapped and/or sealed data media (for example CDs, audio cassettes, VHS videos, DVDs, PC and video games and software) this means that we only take back the products in the unopened shrink wrap film or with an undamaged seal. After expiry of the return deadline, in the case of defects of your products please regard the information on warranties.
