The Lost and Found

Your characters are part of The Lost and Found; a guild of mercenaries and explorers who, for the most part, put on a front of serving as the neutral protectors of Nobella. Most of the guild generally consists of mercenaries and adventurers, but the primary goal of the guild is to salvage dangerous artifacts, and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Or alternatively, pry them from the (often dead) hands of certain Magi.

The Lost and Found is situated on its own little island, nearby the massive continent of Atros. Fortunately, the flux from Atros hasn't quite gotten far enough to pollute their little home! The island supports its own little town, which is entirely dedicated to the sellswords, adventurers, and even pirates. Tourists welcome! They probably need it.

How long and how far you've worked with the guild is up to you; but your character shouldn't exactly be a professional from the get-go. You may begin as a fresh face to the group that was recently given membership, or someone who has taken up a few quests and adventures in the past.
