- The following morning, with the sun beaming down on all, Auden and Dulcina stand in their bedroom with looks of great concern in their morning attire. Auden holds his wife tenderly in his right arm as the couple stares down at the mob of people that stand before their home, each armed with various sharp farming tools or weapons as the people each scream angrily towards those who stand before them.
- “I wonder how long they’ll remain outside our home…” Dulcina spoke in a low tired tone watching as more people begin to gather before their estate. “I do not know my love, but we must trust that Xain knows what he’s doing with that Ghoul he brought last night…” He answers holding his wife slightly tighter while watching the people gathering. “After all, he protected our Lorelle from becoming a Ghoul, not to mention he performed her rites and help with her burial. We placed our trust in him before and now we need to continue to trust him…” She nods in agreement as she moves from her husband’s embrace.
- Auden follows his wife as the two stands by the large curtains then closes them quickly. The two walk at their own pace towards their bedroom door while hearing the mob of people outside screaming louder by the second. They take their time advancing as they notice their servants watching from different parts of their home. Some were standing in the doorway; others remain outside trying to calm the masses while the rest remain inside in concern.
- Outside the mansion, Cathleen and Cordelia remain to the right of the main entrance watching the mob of angry people increases by the second. They continue to scream at both monsters and some of the servants as the Ghoul stands before everyone’s gaze in between the mob and the mansion’s entrance. She remains motionless before all with her gaze focused on those before her rather then the others behind her.
- Cordelia shifts her gaze about the mob worried saying softly, “I never knew humans could get this upset…” Cathleen sighs turning her attention to the Ghoul near them; floating above the ground with her arms at her side. “Believe me Cordelia; people get upset just from having a Werecat getting too close to their homes. But since she’s here, it causes more problems…Especially since someone told that Xain brought her here and couldn’t kill her and well…”
- Before she could finish, she shivers in place, seeing the Ghoul facing them with her gaze focused on the two of them alone. She grins wide to them remaining still before all. Swiftly, Cathleen floats behind Cordelia; holding onto her shoulders in fear while keeping her gaze on the Ghoul. She trembles behind Cordelia as she looks over her right shoulder asking in concern, “What’s wrong?”
- Cathleen shuts her eyes tight in fear, “The way she’s looking at us…its just…so scary…” She answer causes Cordelia to giggle a little. “I can understand how you feel. She does seem a little scary…But since Xain placed a barrier over her earlier, she’s been very calm…at least for now…” She turns her attention back to the yelling mob. “I’m worried about them…” She thought keeping her attention on the Ghoul.
- Everyone’s attention turns to the entrance as Xain, Auden, and Dulcina walk out from the mansion. Silence falls onto all except for the Ghoul who growls happily noticing Xain. Quickly, she lunges towards him, but bounces against the air; landing on her hands and feet. Growling in annoyance, she lunges again against the air; thrusting her palms against the barrier with a look of anger.
- Xain looks towards the Ghoul calmly with his staff in his right hand with the noble couple standing behind him with slight looks of terror in their gazes. “That…That beast was going to turn our Lorelle…I…I don’t believe it…” Dulcina spoke holding onto Auden’s right arm tightly as he nods in agreement. Xain sighs slightly from what he hears, keeping his focus on the Ghoul; watching her slam her palms over and over against the barrier.
- “I think that best option for her would be to…” “WOULD BE TO DESTROY THAT ABOMONATION ONCE AND FOR ALL!” Someone among the mob screams in hatred causing the others to yell in an uproar; raising their weapons into the air. “For…Forgive us my lord and lady. We were unable to keep them calm and worse, one of them spoke of the monster’s existence here.” A tall older skinny male in a black butler clothing spoke looking back at the couple with his dark blue eyes.
- The mob turns their attention towards the Ghoul as she calms down; panting a little while looking towards Xain still annoyed. They begin to speak among themselves catching the attention of the Ghoul. She turns to face them all gazing at them each with a bored look. “See! I told you that the priest had brought that damn thing to their home alive!” A stern looking female speaks, wearing a violet blue housewife like dress with her long brown hair resting along her back. She holds a butcher knife in her right hand while her hate filled shady brown eyes lock on Xain rather then the Ghoul.
- Xain advances towards the mob with some of the servants backing away towards the mansion with his advance. The mob turns their attention towards Xain as does the monsters near them as he comes to a stop a good distance from the Ghoul’s position. She smirks slamming her palms against the barrier, but nothing happens except her frustrated slams.
- “Excuse me, but may I ask why you all have come here today?” He asks as the female moves through the mob until she stands a bit before Xain; pointing the tip of her knife towards Xain’s chest. “Isn’t it obvious? You need to do the job at hand and kill that monster!” She exclaims as the mob cheers in agreement while some scream various remarks of killing the Ghoul.
- “Wait a minute!” Cathleen exclaims floating towards Xain’s left. “Xain would never kill a monster no matter what kind it is! Besides, Xain did what he was asked of! He helped put Lorelle to rest and kept this Ghoul from changing her! We can take her back to the great desert and the job will be over!” She defends as Cordelia approaches to Xain’s right and nods in agreement with a calmer expression.
- The mob keeps their attention on the three as the woman huffs, lowering her arm; placing her left hand along her hip in annoyance. “Frankly all monsters are a problem to us. The only reason we don’t have a problem with you two is because you seem far tamer then that beast so we’re giving you both a pass…for now…” Cordelia and Cathleen look towards the woman crossly as the woman turns her attention back to Xain’s face.
- “But that beast has to die!” She exclaims as some of the mob picks up a few stones of different size among the ground. They throw them towards the Ghoul and the three standing before them as Cathleen watches in shock. Cordelia quickly shields herself with her arms as Auden stands before his wife; shielding her as some of the servants move before the couple defensively.
- Xain extends his arm forward as the rocks that come near fall to the ground gently. He looks towards the mob calmly as some step back in shock from whatever Xain had done. The woman does the same in fear, but smirks knowingly turning her focus back to Xain as he pulls his arm back. “So, what do you say father? Will you kill that beast? After all you clearly have the power to do so and isn’t it the job of those of the Order to eradicate monsters?” She speaks smugly and proud, but Xain grits his teeth slightly in annoyance.
- Cordelia listens close lowering her arms as she moves to Cathleen’s right whispering, “I thought Xain wasn’t a member of the Order…Although I heard of them sometime ago but…” “He isn’t…” Cathleen whispers back keeping her attention on Xain. He stomps his staff once catching everyone’s attention then turns around approaching the barrier as the Ghoul had calmed down slightly from her assault.
- “First of all…I am not and I repeat this: I am not a member of the Order. Never have…Never will be…” Xain spoke in confidence, but with a little bit of anger in his tone. Those in attendance watch his moments as he stops before the Ghoul; gazing at her face. She licks her lips slowly before him with a look of want in her eyes as her gaze shifts from Xain’s face to his crotch quickly.
- He shuts his eyes moving to the Ghoul’s right behind Cathleen and Cordelia as they follow him. He turns back to the mob with his monsters moving away from his side as the mob watch his actions closely. “Second: what I do in my life, both personal and professional, is of my business and mine alone.” He spins his staff once before all then sharply aims the ball top towards the Ghoul.
- “And…If you truly want this Ghoul killed…” He speaks flipping his staff over in his hand. “Xain what are you…” “Shhh…” Cathleen shushes quickly, cutting off Cordelia as the two watch him closely. Slamming the bottom of his staff against the barrier, it lowers quickly with the Ghoul grinning happily. “Then by all means do it yourselves. I won’t interfere with what you desire of her.” As he finishes, the Ghoul growls in delight keeping her attention on Xain.
- He shifts his gaze towards her then spins his staff in his hand once again; aiming the ball top towards the mob. The Ghoul turns towards them, grinning from ear to ear in a hungry manner. Nearly all of the mob takes a step away in fear, but the woman looks towards all before her in disgust. “I’m not afraid of some monster!” She screams moving towards her left; taking a large pitchfork from a male farmer.
- Yelling loudly, she aims the pitchfork towards the Ghoul; charging quickly with a murderous gaze. “Could you instruct one of the servants to bring me what I ask for? This will become a problem in a moment with her.” Xain whispers to Cordelia as she nods quickly. She runs towards one of the servants explaining what Xain needs while all eyes are on the charging female.
- She thrusts the prongs of the pitchfork towards the Ghoul’s stomach, but the monster sidesteps quickly to the woman’s left. The woman’s eyes widen in fear as the Ghoul slams both her arms onto the woman’s; knocking the pitchfork from her grasp. She slowly turns to all with her mouth open and her tongue dangling out as she lets out a hungrier growl, causing the female to scream in terror.
- She turns to run, but fumbles on the ground as the mob quickly runs from the mansion showing the same amount of terror. The Ghoul slowly advances after the female looking her over as if she were her next meal until the female gets to her feet; running away swiftly as some left their choice of weapons behind. “I believe we’ll return those to them later…with a warning of course.” Auden speaks as Dulcina and the servants nod in agreement.
- The Ghoul pants excited as she turns around; facing all behind her with a grin of want. Cathleen quickly flies behind Cordelia who had remained with the servants as the older male came out from the main entrance, “Master Xain, I’ve brought you the steel chains and collar you requested.” “Thank you and it’s just Xain” He answers turning around.
- Slowly, he approaches the servant with the Ghoul quickly following after him. “Xain look out!” Cathleen shouts in concern holding onto Cordelia’s shoulders. Both tense up in fear with the others watching in horror, but Xain quickly turns around looking at the Ghoul with a determine look. Her mouth wide open as she lunges at him only to be met by the top of Xain’s staff.
- He thrusts it towards her as she slams her left open palm against it. While she struggles to push him back, Xain remains firm along the grounds looking back at her calmer. He thrusts his staff hard causing her to be flung far where the mob once stood as she looks towards him confused, crouched on her feet and left hand. Xain turns towards the frighten servant and takes the collar into his left hand while listening to the Ghoul pant.
- He turns to face her clenching the collar as the Ghoul charges once again towards them all. Xain charges as well with a calm expression and the moment the two came close the Ghoul reaches for his chest with her arms extended forward. He sidesteps at the last possible second to her left then spins around; slamming the collar around her neck as the Ghoul lands on the ground hard.
- Everyone takes a step away from her in fear as Xain holds the chains in his grasp lightly. Getting on her knees, the Ghoul rapidly tries to claw at the collar around her neck, but then turns to face Xain; lunging at him again only to scream loudly in pain. The collar and chains glow a white light causing the Ghoul to tremble in pain as she falls onto her knees once again.
- “What…did you do to her Master Xain?” The same male servant inquires as Xain lowers his arms with a defeated sigh. “Please…No lord or master…Just Xain. And all that I did was bless the chain and collar with my power just now.” He answers turning his attention towards the sitting Ghoul as she looks up at him blankly. “She won’t be able to break from them or go anywhere as long as I hold onto them. In short…She will have to obey me…As much as I don’t like using this method.”
- His tone was filled with remorse, but his expression changes quickly to shock at hearing the woman shout in the distance, “At least this way you can keep that thing under control until you kill it right?” Everyone turns towards their right seeing the woman standing with sweat along her face, but Xain says nothing. Dropping the chain to the ground, the Ghoul gets up, looking towards the female with a grin. She charges towards her causing the woman to run; yelling in fear.
- “That wasn’t very nice of you Xain!” Cordelia giggles as Xain quickly dives to the ground, grasping the end of the chain in his left hand. Sending his energy through the chains, the Ghoul halts her advance; falling to her knees in pain. “But she deserved it!” Cathleen yells proudly as Xain gets to his feet laughing a little. “Yes, they did.” Auden and Dulcina smile proudly at what they saw, but the Ghoul remains silent to all watching the fields before her.
- The afternoon came onto all with Xain, Cathleen, and Cordelia standing before the noble couple and their servants while the Ghoul remains calm, far behind Xain keeping her attention on the chain in Xain’s left hand. Cordelia holds a large brown sack in her hands to Xain’s right with Cathleen floating to his left. “Are you sure that’s enough for all of your services?” Dulcina asks as she, her husband, and all of their servants stand in wait before the mansion’s main entrance.
- Xain examines each of their faces seeing their joyous smiles then nods. “Don’t trouble yourself. You’ve already paid for everything and gave us extra. You’ve allowed me a way to keep this Ghoul under control and for that I thank you.” He bows to them each with a warm smile. “I couldn’t ask for more. But more importantly…Lorelle can rest in peace without fear.”
- “Yes…That in its own is a blessing…” Auden begins to shed tears while doing his best to hold them back. Dulcina holds her husband gently as their servants move towards the couple doing their best to lift their spirits. “If you ever need our help again don’t hesitate to ask. We will be taking out leave.” Xain speaks with a bow as Cordelia does the same.
- The three move to their lefts with Cathleen waving goodbye to them each. Many of the servants did the same in return with the noble couple watches relieved and happy as the three lead the Ghoul towards the grassy plains beyond their estate. One by one they each go back into the mansion with Auden and Dulcina doing the same; walking in hand in hand.
- Xain sighs a little the further they got from the mansion with Cathleen and Cordelia looking towards him in concern. The Ghoul keeps a good distance from the three from what the chain allows while taking in her surroundings carefully. At times, she smiles at what she saw then would look at the back of Xain’s head in a lustful ferocious manner.
- “Do you really think we can get her back to the great desert?” Cathleen asks as the three come to a halt. They turn around towards the Ghoul as she remains still looking at Xain still grinning before them. Cathleen floats closer to Xain’s person with fear in her face. “It would take at least two weeks for us to reach the border of the desert from your home and it’ll take us the rest of the day to get home!” Xain nods in agreement turning around from them each.
- “That’s why we’ll be keeping an eye on her ourselves.” He answers, advancing once again with the Ghoul following suit. Cathleen floats before Xain in disbelief with Cordelia walking to his left keeping her focus on his face. “Are you sure that’s a good idea Xain? What if she tries to get loose and look for more corpses to change into what she is?”
- “I don’t know…” Cordelia cuts in looking at Cathleen then over her right shoulder towards the Ghoul. “She was acting ferocious towards those people before, but when she tried to attack Xain she seemed happy about it. Almost playful even. I think she’s smitten with him.” Cathleen looks back at the Ghoul curiously seeing the grin on her face. “Yea…but to be honest she still scares me…”
- “How can she when you’re dead much like her Cathleen?” He asks causing her to pout angrily before him. “I at least have my mind still and my memories! She doesn’t! She acts like a mindless beast!” “That may be true, but we have to keep an eye on her from now on. There isn’t much choice. I don’t know if any of those people will tell the Order of my actions if Auden and Dulcina don’t silence them. We don’t need any of their members coming after us…” He spoke annoyed picking up his pace.
- Cathleen takes close notice of his pitch then floats high over them all before the Ghoul a little curious. Cordelia leans a little closer to Xain in concern, but jumps away in fear hearing the Ghoul growling in a possessive angry manner. They each look towards her, but saw her grinning normally before them all. “Why would she growl like that? It’s kinda weird…” Cathleen floats behind Xain keeping her attention on the Ghoul.
- “Xain, you never told us what happened the night before at the cemetery and you were very vague when you returned with the Ghoul unconscious in your arms. Would you tell us what happen now?” Cordelia asks causing Xain to sigh heavily in guilt. “It’s a very long story so I hope that you’re both prepared for everything…” He spoke as they both turn towards him and nod.
- He explains every detail about the night before to them both with a guilty expression while they walk. At first they listen closely, understanding everything he had to say, but when he got to the parts of the Ghoul’s assault of his body, he blush ashamed while they both look towards him wide eyed and in great disbelief. “YOU MEAN TO SAY SHE DID ALL THAT TO YOU!?” They both scream the moment Xain was finished with his tale looking directly at Xain’s face; stopping in their tracks before them.
- He looks at them both with the same guilt on his face and nods with the Ghoul watching them all from behind blankly. “I…I didn’t have a choice… I wasn’t aware if she was a changed Ghoul or one of the past…and when she licked my flesh it felt so…so…” Red begins to slightly appear along his cheeks as he averts his gaze to his right remembering the night before.
- From the Ghoul’s tongue rubbing against his skin to her taking his cock deep into her throat, Xain remembers it all as the blush on his cheeks increases by the second. The Ghoul watches for a moment, but grins stepping quickly towards Xain growling in delight with her tongue dangling from within her mouth. Quickly, she leans to his neck about to lick until Xain turns around swiftly pulling on her chain.
- The Ghoul yells in pain; falling to her knees with Cathleen and Cordelia moving a bit from Xain’s person in surprise and slight fear. “That…was close…” He looks down at her slightly panting, but as Cathleen and Cordelia calm down, they both look towards Xain with a slight amount of anger in their gazes. He turns around facing his monsters, but steps back in fear seeing their angry looks.
- Laughing fearfully, he bows slightly to them saying quickly, “Listen, I’m sorry for letting her take advantage of me and when we get home I’ll make it up to you both. I promise.” Their expressions calm quickly with Cordelia looking at him with forgiveness while Cathleen looks towards him lewdly with her grin forming on her face. She begins to float around him as if in orbit while Xain watches her cautiously with his eyes as she passes by his gaze.
- “I hope so Xain…Or I’ll take over Cordelia and make her do it with me at the same time…” She speaks lewdly causing Cordelia to giggle happily. Xain nods quickly with a worried smile as Cordelia turns around walking ahead of them each. “I can forgive what happened with you two Xain and take what you promise us when we get home. After all, it was part of your job so I can’t be too angry with you.”
- Xain sighs heavily from Cordelia’s words and smiles following after her. Cathleen follows after Cordelia keeping her lewd grin, but the Ghoul follows them with a far different gaze focused towards the two monsters far before them. Her attention turns back to Xain and with a grin licks her lips slowly while growling in a low tone, but the three ahead of her were able to hear it; looking back at her slightly.
- The sun begins to set in the distance as the four enter the forest that shields Xain’s home from others. They each emerge from the forest with a sigh of relief, but the Ghoul looks towards the house with no emotion. She sits on the grass quickly keeping her hands at her side on the soft grass. Xain turns to look at her, but as he does the Ghoul lunges at him; quickly licking along his left knuckles.
- The sensations that he feels runs through his entire being as his eyes widen, causing him to fall to his knees. The Ghoul grins, pouncing onto Xain’s body as both Cathleen and Cordelia quickly notice her actions in shock. “Oh no, you don’t!” Cathleen screams in anger flying quickly towards her body. But as she tries to slip into the Ghoul’s body, she passes right through with her eyes widening in shock.
- “That’s right…She’s just like me!” She thought in realization. The Ghoul leans down licking along Xain’s right hand gently causing him to shiver from the sensation rushing through his body again; only the amount was higher then when she licked his knuckles. She quickly moves down to his waist, seeing his erection pushing through his slacks. Growling in delight, she reaches for the waist of his slacks, but blinks in confusion watching Xain being pull from under her.
- Cordelia quickly pulls Xain by his cloak at his shoulders then sits on the grass; embracing Xain in her arms protectively. She looks at the Ghoul crossly, listening to Xain panting rapidly, but the Ghoul grins in want and slight rage. She lunges towards the two as Cordelia keeps her gaze on the Ghoul. Her expression turns focused as the Ghoul screams slightly; bouncing off the very air itself.
- Landing on the ground stomach first, the Ghoul groans in slight pain lying emotionless for a few moments. “Cordelia…” Cathleen says impressed, looking towards the two with the Sea Bishop keeping her gaze on the fallen Ghoul; listening to Xain calming down by the second. The Ghoul sits up slowly while groaning slightly louder, but turns her gaze quickly towards Cordelia with greater confusion.
- She looks down at the chain attached to her neck then looks towards Xain’s staff to her left that lay along the grass. She looks back at Cordelia once again then to Xain with a wider grin. Placing her hands firmly along the grass, she charges towards the two with Cathleen watching in great concern. Xain sits up quickly looking at the charging Ghoul then dives at her chain.
- However the moment Xain grasps the chains, the Ghoul skids on the grass on her own then sits on the grass like an obedient child. She grins looking back at Xain as he, Cordelia, and Cathleen look at her stunned. “I guess…that’s that…At least…I hope it is…” Cathleen speaks, watching the Ghoul closely; floating towards Xain and Cordelia. They both get to their feet as the Ghoul does the same keeping her grin.
- They watch her closely as Cordelia opens the front door for them all as Xain leads the Ghoul inside at a cautious slow pace. Cathleen follows after the Ghoul then Cordelia follows suit, but the four stop before the cabinet that stands near the wall to their left. Sitting on top of the cabinet was a small girl slightly smaller in size compared to Cathleen; kicking her legs back and forth in the air as if waiting for something.
- Her reddish orange hair stops at her bottom of her neck as the girl keeps her eyes shut. She wears a pair of bracelets around her wrists and ankles that look similar to the top and bottom of a paper lantern with coloring similar to her hair. Her skin tone was a slightly warmer tone then Xain’s or Cordelia’s as she wore a unique kimono the same color as the bracelets on her body that allow her small arms to be visible. The kimono stops slightly at the middle of her upper thighs with no obi visible anywhere. Atop her head was a unique hair ornament that looks similar to a lantern’s handle that keeps a part of her hair tied up.
- Slowly, she opens her eyes, no longer hearing movement to her right as she turns to see the source. Her eyes were a unique shade of orange as they seem empty of life, but at the same time full of it. She smiles happily leaping from the cabinet and onto her bare feet. Quickly, she runs towards Xain, lunging onto his body, wrapping her arms around his waist and exclaims loudly in a young voice, “Master! You’ve finally come back home to me!”
- “Master!?” Xain, Cathleen, and Cordelia each thought, looking down at the smaller girl. As the girl tightens her loving grip on Xain’s frame, the Ghoul had moved back outside enough so that no one would have notice. Her attention was on the girl as well, but it shifts back to Xain’s head. Her gaze moves to his backside as she grins in want.
