- Entry 3: Fey Queens
- Three Line Flash
- - Mischievous Pranksters
- - Plentiful in their own world, rare in ours
- - Polygamous: One Husband, many wives
- Summary:
- Truth be told, very few people believe the Land of the Fey exists. There are many old wives and story tellers who maintain that the Fey are real, and yet a normal person will never run into one of the denizens of the Land of the Fey. Rest assured, such a kingdom exists parallel to our world. As proof, occasionally a Fey Queen will make her way beyond the boundary and into our world.
- Fey Queens are the name for a group of Fairies that are the direct children of Titania, the Queen of All Fey. The title Fey Queen is a touch misleading, as there is only one Queen, Titania, and her daughters do not serve as royalty in any capacity.
- Physical Description:
- Fairies are a small race of flying women with butterfly wings. An average fairy will be about as tall as a man's hand is long, roughly 4-6 inches (10.6cm – 15.24cm). However, Fey Queen's have been observed to change their size, seemingly at will. Other than their small height and butterfly wings, Fairies also have butterfly's antennae coming out of their heads.
- Basic Behaviors:
- Fey Queens are a curious bunch. They are not common fairies, and yet there are some basic things to keep in mind when dealing with any fairy.
- Fairies on the whole are mischievous, and mostly harmless. However, they can be dangerous if you are not careful. A simple rule of thumb when dealing with fairies – always turn down any food or drink they offer you, and never follow them into the forest.
- Fey Queens commonly stay in the Land of the Fey and do not cross the boundary between worlds. However, as there are numerous Fey Queens and more are born each year, some have seen fit to spread their wings and fly far from their homes, to find a new life in our world. These girls are troublesome pranksters, but all in all they are good natured and only seeking to entertain themselves. However, it may be wise not to trust the Fey, as many will lead a human to misfortune and ruin for a few giggles.
- Special Features:
- When picking out a mate, there seems to be no criteria a Fey Queen picks out. Rather than being selective, it appears they are random, or perhaps they follow some philosophy unknown to us. Regardless of who they choose, Fey Queens always seem to have one thing in common – they desire to bring their mate other wives and rule over the growing household as a queen. An odd bunch, the Fey Queens. To some however, they may be a blissful chance at a successful harem.
