What truly amazes me about Megan is that she tries to shroud an egotistical and structure persona over her fragile and broken center. The only reason she brings it up is to farm attention and sympathy from others when he "cheats". The only context she provides is her cropped Skype conversations. She's messaging herself.
my thought is that Robert is fake, but having him as a "bf" that nobody knows exists is a lotta space to make shit up with: e.g. cheating, etc., meaning she gets to milk it all as much as she wants until she realizes we don't care as much bc we hear it over and over again
