  1. Se'r's eyes looked hungrily at the basket, tightening hands together and breathing in deeply. He'd prepare in order to try and get the ball again before it fell. Both hands reached up into the air, trying to grab the ball before it actually fell down toward them. [1]
  2. <br> </br>
  3. Se'r's hands reached up, fingers temporarily wrapping around it to get a 'grasp' around it and tighten around it. Se'r would quickly try to slap it down in front of themselves and attempted to use their other hand to catch it. Revealing what he had learned. [2]
  4. <br> </br>
  5. He'd rush forward, watching as it hit the backboard, before falling toward the nearby hoop. It'd hit it and began circling out, looking like it was going to fall out of it. Eyes widening as it continued circling around. Se'r slid across the ground, feet pressing on the ground. [3]
  6. <br> </br>
  7. He'd push up off of the ground and tried to reach up to the ball before it actually fell to the ground. His hands wrapping around it, as he tried to imagine that he edged against someone else trying to get the ball. Trying to confirm his shot. "Alright- I'll just take this and!" [4]
  8. <br> </br>
  9. He's seen this plenty of times, the ball was so close to actually dropping into the hoop. Yet, he was moments away from actually dropping it in. Se'r sweat a bit. His blood was boiling, his sweat was made of nitroglycerin. That's what it felt, as he saw where the ball was heading. [5]
  10. <br> </br>
  11. He'd drop down on the ground, his feet planting on the ground, as his eyes looked up at the ball that bounced against the rim. The sound of the ball bouncing the rim could clearly be heard, the rim itself shivering and shaking as Se'r flinched. Fuck, he did mess this up, didn't he? [6]
  12. <br> </br>
  13. He shook his head, watching to see where it'd end up bouncing, knowing he already didn't have enough time to do this full out. He'd reach out, lifting his arms up into the air. He shouted loudly, the air around him felt like it just lit on fire with what he felt. [7]
  14. <br> </br>
  15. His hands reached out, extending and shaking as he tried to get the ball before it fell. His eyes widened fully, his focus was completely on the ball, before both hands clasped around it. Se'r held the ball in his hand for a moment, suddenly realizing it as he clasped it. [8]
  16. <br> </br>
  17. Se'r's eyes looked up to the ball as it bounced off the rim and toward the backboard. Its speed was much higher than he expected- he got too excited. He pushed the ball too hard, and now it was out of control. Was it a disaster? Wait, now Se'r realized something as eyes widened. [9]
  18. <br> </br>
  19. IT was too controlled, it was an issue that also came with making shots by yourself too often. Eventually, you forget how easy it was for someone to pressure you. How easy it was for someone to ruin your shot. Now, this time, the rebounded basketball was just a bit different in this case. [10]
  20. <br> </br>
  21. The ball knocked upward, with eyes looking up at the ball. This wasn't baseball though, waiting for the ball passively to come down. If he was going to be against other people who played this sport. He'd have to actually jump and reach it. He'd have to get there faster than them. [11]
  22. <br> </br>
  23. It was why it was so rough, why strength was so regarded when it came to rebounds. Se'r breathed in deeply and attempted to move forward, rushing forward, as he tried to figure out where it was going to land, and when it was going to land. Sweat dripped down his brow thinking about it. [12]
  24. <br> </br>
  25. If he jumped too early, he'd end up failing, even if he could jump higher. Because- while he was at his apex, the ball would be out of reach. Not only that, but he had to figure out when the line between his apex, and the ball would intersect. What a mess. [13]
  26. <br> </br>
  27. This situation would easily be hard in an actual basketball game, when, if someone jumped at the right time they could disrupt his own rhythm. Disrupt it enough that he can fall on his ass...a smaller jump was less committal though, he recognized. Though there was an issue with that. [14]
  28. <br> </br>
  29. You couldn't jump as high, even if that was the case. A small jump would allow you to recover more quickly, and required less time to actually jump. Though in the end, all Se'r had to do, was be good enough to actually place even just a finger on the ball, and flick it downward. [15]
